Shorting Evil, by Robert Gore

Evil is in a topping formation.

Evil is completely dependent on the good it attempts to destroy. When good discovered fire, invented the wheel, and started planting seeds, evil invented government. Evil produces nothing, it only commands, coerces, enslaves, destroys, and murders. Gigantic tombs loom over Egypt’s desert, built by slaves millennia ago, monuments to rulers’ vanity. A single farmer working the Nile’s alluvial soil produced more than any pharaoh, yet the former had to send a portion of his crop to the latter. Nothing has changed since then. How do the production and lives of the good become the property of evil?

Force, fear, and fraud are the usual answers, but they can’t be the entire answer. Rulers and their military and police forces are always vastly outnumbered by the ruled. Revolts have brought down countless governments. Yet, why have most people down through the ages not revolted but endured the force, fear, and fraud?

The trick is to get the ruled to assign their right in their own lives to the rulers, acting as the purported agent of a collective. If the mass of people accept the proposition that there is a cause or causes greater than themselves, the rest is easy. So, find a greater cause—God, country, fighting evil enemies domestic or foreign, fighting a deadly germ, safety, the common good, the public interest, global warming, global cooling, climate change—the list is endless.

The people will fight wars, pay taxes, comply with every absurd law and regulation, mask up, lockdown, take deadly vaccines, embrace misery, and line up for the concentration camps. Who am I, they might ask, to question, to object, to fight, to revolt? They’ve already answered that question. They’ve surrendered their lives and souls; they are nobodies. Figuratively and perhaps literally, these corpses will join the stack in the ditch or the ashes in the crematorium.

THE GRAY RADIANCE DESCRIPTION, CHAPTER ONE

THE GRAY RADIANCE AMAZON LINK

The rulers expertly play their emotions, but what stirs their greatest passion is the occasional odd man or woman out—the ones who refuse to assign their lives to the collective. The nothings burn the somethings at the stake; self-loathing finds its expression in destruction and death.

Will Zionism self-destruct? By Alasdair Crooke

One thing that won’t come out of what’s going on in Israel and the Middle East will be a heightened sense of security for Israel. From Alasdair Crooke at strategic-culture.org:

Israel’s strategy from past decades will continue with its hope of achieving some Chimeric transformative “de-radicalisation” of Palestinians that will make ‘Israel safe’.

(This paper is the basis of a talk to be given at the 25th Yasin (April) International Academic Event on Economic and Social Development, HSE University, Moscow, April 2024)

In the summer following Israel’s 2006 (unsuccessful) war on Hizbullah, Dick Cheney sat in his office loudly bemoaning Hizbullah’s continuing strength; and worse still, that it seemed to him that Iran had been the primary beneficiary from the U.S. 2003 Iraq war.

Cheney’s guest – the then Saudi Intelligence Chief, Prince Bandar – vigorously concurred (as chronicled by John Hannah, who participated in the meeting) and, to general surprise, Prince Bandar proclaimed that Iran yet could be cut to size: Syria was the ‘weak’ link between Iran and Hizbullah that could be collapsed via an Islamist insurgency, Bandar proposed. Cheney’s initial scepticism turned to elation as Bandar said that U.S. involvement would be unnecessary: He, Prince Bandar, would orchestrate and manage the project. ‘Leave it to me’, he said.

Bandar separately told John Hannah: “The King knows that other than the collapse of the Islamic Republic itself, nothing would weaken Iran more than losing Syria”.

Thus began a new phase of attrition on Iran. The regional balance of power was to be decisively shifted towards Sunni Islam – and the region’s monarchies.

That old balance from the Shah’s time in which Persia enjoyed regional primacy was to be ended: conclusively, the U.S., Israel and the Saudi King hoped.

Iran – already badly bruised by the ‘imposed’ Iran-Iraq war – resolved never again to be so vulnerable. Iran aimed to find a path to strategic deterrence in the context of a region dominated by the overwhelming air dominance enjoyed by its adversaries.

What occurred this Saturday 14 April – some 18 years later – therefore was of utmost importance.

Despite the bruhaha and distraction following Iran’s attack, Israel and the U.S. know the truth: Iran’s missiles were able to penetrate directly into Israel’s two most sensitive and highly defended air bases and sites. Behind the whooping western rhetoric lies Israeli shock and fear. Their bases are no longer ‘untouchable’.

Trump Sold-Out His Base to Shovel $95 Billion to Ukraine and Israel, by Mike Whitney

The same people who own Mike Johnson own Trump. It’s good he dispelled the illusions half a year before the election. From Mike Whitney at unz.com:

America last. America last. That’s all this is. America last, every single day. – Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene

The man who is most responsible for the $95 billion giveaway to Ukraine and Israel, is the same guy who pretends to oppose America’s “wasteful” foreign wars. Donald Trump. It was Trump who consulted with Speaker Mike Johnson about the contents of the Ukraine aid package, just as it was Trump who concocted the idea of issuing loans instead of dispersing the standard welfare handout. It was also Trump who said:

“I stand with the Speaker, (Mike Johnson)” after which he added that Johnson is doing “a very good job.”

A “good job”??

So, secretly collaborating with the Democrat leadership to push through a bill that “reauthorizes FISA to spy on the American people without a warrant, (bans Tik Tok) fully funds Joe Biden’s DOJ that has indicted President Trump 91 times, and giving Biden’s political gestapo a brand new FBI building bigger than the Pentagon,” while not providing a dime to protect the southern border from the swarms of people entering the country illegally, is doing a “good job”?

The question we should all be asking ourselves is why has Trump decided to participate in this scam? He keeps saying that if he was president, he’d end the war in Ukraine in a day. If he’s sincere about that, then why did he collaborate on a bill that will drag the war out for another year or two? This is from a Twitter post by political analyst Michael Tracey:

Mission Accomplished. It is done: Donald Trump and the House GOP just completed one of the most epic swindles in political history, with Trump personally effectuating the largest-ever dispersement of Ukraine funding through his emissary, “MAGA Mike Johnson” (as Trump lovingly calls him) The $61 billion passed this afternoon is likely enough to underwrite the brutal, pointless trench warfare for at least another year or two. This after the same old endless media screeching that Trump and MAGA Republicans were being brainwashed by Putin and would never fund Ukraine. That fundamental hoax continues — only this time Trump was in on it…. Michael Tracey, Twitter

The Bad Faith Olympics, by James Howard Kunstler

If we continue to “weaken” Russia, one of these days it will rule Eurasia. From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

“This is the weirdest era in human history. By far. Nothing else even comes close. Billionaires trying to kill everyone. Civil society unable to form a coherent thought. Institutions lie in smoldering ruins. Poisons handed out like candy. We are Neanderthals with iPhones.” — Dr. Toby Rogers

Did it warm your heart to see all those blue and yellow Ukrainian flags waved by our elected officials in Congress Saturday night with the passage of the $60-plus-billion aid bill to the Palookaville of Europe? You realize, don’t you, that the tiny fraction of that hypothetical “money” — from our country’s empty treasury — that ever reaches Ukraine will rebound on the instant into Mr. Zelensky’s Cayman Islands bank account. The rest of the dough enters the recursive shell-game between US weapons-makers and the very hometown folks in Congress waving those blue and yellow flags, who will receive great greasy gobs of fresh “campaign donations” from the grateful bomb and missile producers. No wonder they’re cheering.

What the $60-plus-billion won’t do is provide any fresh arms and equipment to Ukraine’s sad-sack army soon enough to prevent Russia from bringing this cruel, stupid, and unnecessary war, which we started, to a close. Yes, we started it, not Russia, in 2014 with our Intel blob overthrowing elected President Viktor Yanukovych in the so-called “Maidan Revolution of Dignity” (what Wikipedia calls it). And for what reason? To jam Ukraine into NATO as a prelude to “weakening” Russia sufficient to bust it up and gain control over Russian oil, ores, and grain.

Burning Down the House, by Jim Quinn

We’ve got an invasion going on our poor excuse for a southern border, but not a dollar for that. But they can find $95 billion for Israel, Ukraine, and even Hamas. From Jim Quinn at theburningplatform.com:

“I’m an ordinary guy burning down the house. Hold tight. Wait ’til the party’s over. Hold tight. We’re in for nasty weather. There has got to be a way, burning down the house.” ~ Joe Biden [just kiddin’ — lyrics from ‘Burning Down the House’ by Talking Heads]

America’s house is being consumed by a raging hot fire of Marxist-Maoist, Islamofascist, anti-American Democrat Paty radicalism and Republican cowardly fecklessness and, too often, complicity. America can’t be “built back better”, when everything the Biden regime currently supports is damaging some part of Her infrastructure; and, the country sure as hell can’t be built back better or “made great again”, when a Republican Speaker, with the purse strings in hand, refuses to put America first over Ukraine and Israel, in order to secure the wide-open southern border, which further subverts traditional America and tells our enemies, both foreign and domestic, that America is ripe for a final death blow.

It’s well and fine to wish to help our Israeli allies, with whom we do have standing treaties that oblige us to send them a certain amount of military support each year, under a $38 billion memorandum that was signed in 2016. However, it’s like having a blazing, red-hot poker stuck straight up the taxpayers’ collective asses to discover that the U.S. is sending much more than required to Israel by way of a new bill put together by Speaker Mike Johnson, the Democrats and RINOs, on April 20th 2024, and $9 billion of the total $95 billion, for both Ukraine and Israel, is going to “humanitarian aid” for Gaza, which is the same as saying “more military armaments” for Hamas terrorists. And yet, these goddamned rat bastards in Congress couldn’t see fit to set aside money for actually securing our own borders or demand that our borders be sealed, secured and the alien invasion halted, before one damned red-cent is spent anywhere else.

I Pledge Allegiance . . . to Keeeeeeeeeeeev, by Eric Peters

Given the solicitude of both parties for Ukraine, it’s a sure bet that the country is the epicenter of a stupendous amount of payola and corruption. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

At one time, American schoolchildren were made to pledge allegiance to the American flag – a curious thing, when you think about it a bit.

But it was at least the American flag.

How about this business of the people who supposedly represent Americans – in Congress – holding and waving the flag of Keeeeeeeeeeeev? We can see where their allegiance lies.

As has been observed by many – and you can observe it yourself by going to the downtown area of any major city – America is disintegrating. But there is always money for Keeeeeeeeeeeeeev.

And Israel, too.

Who runs Bartertown? (per Mad Max in the Thunderdome.) And isn’t “Bartertown” exactly apt? It is the place where things of value are traded. Washington, DC having long been the epicenter of that. But it used to be more discreet, which at least gave Americans the psychological latitude to pretend they were being represented. Now it is clear who is represented – and by both political parties, which have always represented themselves.

Benjamin Netanyahu is Pushing for War with Iran, by Jon Hoffman

Who wouldn’t want big brother on their side? From Jon Hoffman at nationalinterest.org:

The Israeli prime minister has a history of encouraging Washington to get involved in Middle Eastern conflicts.

Once again, the Middle East is on the brink of full-scale war. The tit-for-tat exchanges between Israel and Iran are increasing the risk that the United States will get sucked into another Middle East war. As such, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s longstanding efforts to get Washington to attack Tehran—combined with new incentives amid Israel’s war in Gaza—are cause for major concern.

This past weekend, Iran launched more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel in its first direct military assault against the country. This retaliatory attack by Iran was in direct response to Israel’s strike on an Iranian consulate building adjacent to Tehran’s embassy in Syria earlier this month. The strike killed Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, one of the highest-ranking commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). This represents the highest level targeted assassination of an Iranian official since the drone strike that killed Major General Qassem Soleimani in 2020.

The attack marks a new precedent in the decades-long “shadow war” between Iran and Israel.

Israel has reportedly informed the United States and other states in the region that a response from Tel Aviv is inevitable. President Biden supposedly advised Netanyahu to “slow things down” after Iran’s recent attack. However, the administration’s passivity was summarized by the words of White House National Security Communications Spokesperson John Kirby: “I think we have to wait and see what the Israelis decide to do.”

A war between Israel and Iran—which would undoubtedly come with direct American involvement—would be catastrophic for U.S. interests and the Middle East. Washington needs to make clear that America’s chief interest is to avoid being dragged into another ruinous military campaign in the region.

Word of the Day: Performative, by Karen Kwiatkowski

Performative means pretend, but in the modern context, performative consequences are not pretend. From Karen Kwiatkowski at lewrockwell.com:

The western media are, above all, phraseologists.  Managing massive vertically integrated “states” requires the controlled and targeted use of repetitive government approved language, propaganda, jingoism, repeated phrases to channel thought and energy.

We’ve seen a lot of “performative” progressivism in recent years – Black Lives Matter and reparations from the Civil War, incessant genderology above the fold, Trump Derangement Syndrome, tomato soup weilding environmental activism, and DEI departments in every company, corporate board, and investment portfolio.

Each of these has consumed and wasted the mental, spiritual, and physical energy of millions of people.  Thankfully all are fading in their usefulness to the state.  Yet these performative movements were handmaid to the exercise in global martial law enforced by the energetic collusion of international organizations, powerful governments, and the military biowarfare complex starting in 2020.

Covid theater has not faded in usefulness, and many lessons were learned. Performative was the word, and the rule, of the day during the last Covid era. Masks and PCR tests were scientifically meaningless, but required to “show” loyalty and to demonstrate “trust.” Experimental gene therapies were applied en masse not only without scientific data collection, but with a mule-headed and criminal refusal by the state to even look at data on vaccine impacts being pushed up from the field like an artesian spring! An average fourth grader doing a science project would have been required to collect more data than the FDA and CDC ever asked for in this untested medical mandate across billions of human test subjects.

The Evil of War, by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

The Israelis aim to make Gaza uninhabitable and force the Palestinians out of Israel. From Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr., at lewrockwell.com:

On April I, Israel launched an attack on an annex to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. The attack killed a leading Iranian general. In retaliation, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel the following Saturday night, going into Sunday morning. Although the US and Israel shot down most of the missiles, there is reason to think that the attack did more damage than has been reported in the mainstream press. If Israel answers back with another attack, especially a nuclear attack, this could lead to a thermonuclear war that could destroy the world.

I hope that you noticed an anomaly in the first paragraph. Why was the US involved in shooting down the Iranian missiles? Why are we financing the Israeli defense system, including the famous Iron Shield? Why are we giving massive military and economic aid to Israel? Doing this enables Israel to continue its savage and genocidal attack on Gaza. Instead, we should return to our traditional foreign policy of non-intervention, ably championed in our times by Murray Rothbard and Ron Paul.

First, let’s look at what Israel has done in Gaza. Eric Margolis describes some of the damage:

“There is widespread disgust and anger at the US government over your decision to give Israel’s new far right government carte blanche to massacre rebellious Palestinians in the open prison of the Gaza Strip.  The death toll is now over 31,000 killed and at least 70,000 seriously injured, not counting the long-term effects of malnutrition and even starvation.  Most victims are women and children.

“You Are Quite Openly Jewish”: London Police Under Fire For Confrontation With Man Near Anti-Israeli March, by Jonathan Turley

Civil liberties are almost dead in Great Britain. From Jonathan Turley at jonathanturley.org:

The London police are under fire this week for threatening to arrest a man wearing a kippah near a pro-Palestinian march. Officers inform Gideon Falter, head of the Campaign Against Antisemitism watchdog, that he was “antagonizing” the protesters by being “openly Jewish” near such a march. He was told that, if he tried to cross the street while being “openly Jewish,” he would be arrested for breach of the peace.

In the video, one police officer said: “You are quite openly Jewish, this is a pro-Palestinian march, I’m not accusing you of anything but I’m worried about the reaction to your presence.”

Another officer then added later: “You will be escorted out of this area so you can go about your business, go where you want freely or, if you choose to remain here, because you are causing a breach of peace with all these other people, you will be arrested.”

Falter was also told that being openly Jewish near such a march was “antagonizing”.
