If Seth Rich was the source of the WikiLeaks’ DNC email disclosures and the FBI knew it, then the Russian hacking story was a fabrication, and James Comey was probably involved in an attempt to drive President Trump from office.
The biggest story of the entire Russiagate controversy was published Tuesday. Not the story about President Trump’s alleged statement to former FBI Director James Comey: “I hope you can let this go.” A witness is only as good as his or her credibility. If the actual big story pans out, Comey has none, which is why the mainstream media is obsessing over Trump’s alleged statement and doing everything it can to ignore and stifle the other story.
Seth Rich was on the staff of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). He was gunned down on July 10, 2016. Robbery has been speculated as a motive for the murder, but his wallet and watch were not taken. There is also speculation that Rich was the source of the DNC emails that were released by WikiLeaks twelve days later, to the consternation and embarrassment of the DNC. Fueling that speculation was WikiLeaks’ offer of a $20,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of Rich’s murderer. WikiLeaks has neither confirmed nor denied that Rich was its source.
The emails appeared to show a concerted DNC effort to stop Senator Bernie Sanders’ primary campaign for the Democratic nomination and led to the resignation of party chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz. After WikiLeaks’ DNC disclosure, the DNC refused to let the FBI investigate its computer servers. Instead, it allowed a cybersecurity firm, CrowdStrike, to investigate. It’s conclusion, subsequently undercut, was that the Russians had hacked the DNC’s server.
Fox News reported that an unnamed source, almost certainly from the FBI, has seen and read emails between Seth Rich and the late Gavin MacFadyen, a director of WikiLeaks. A FBI forensic report on Seth Rich’s computer was allegedly compiled within 96 hours of his murder. The source said there were 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between DNC leaders transferred from Rich to MacFadyen from January 2015 through May 2016.
If this is correct, then within 96 hours of Rich’s murder, or by July 14, 2016, the FBI knew that Rich had communicated with WikiLeaks and it knew what he had communicated. That means that when WikiLeaks subsequently released the DNC emails on July 22, the FBI knew that Rich, not the Russian government, was the source. That would make the entire “Russia hacked the DNC” story nothing more than a concocted fabrication. Comey, the director of the FBI, surely knew the truth, and indeed was probably the mastermind behind the fabrication. If so, the subsequent investigation has been nothing but a sham, designed to discredit Trump and drive him from office. If that is indeed the case, Comey has zero credibility and his notes, supposedly made after a conversation with Trump, have zero credibility as well. Not only is Comey’s credibility destroyed, he, and potential coconspirators Barack Obama, James Clapper (Director of National Intelligence), John Brennan (Director of the Central Intelligence Agency until January 2017), could be charged with a myriad of criminal offenses, including treason. And who knows where a rejuvenated Seth Rich murder investigation might lead.
Which is why official Washington and its media are doing everything they can to squelch this line of inquiry. Curiously, even Fox News seemed ambivalent about its bombshell. Its story was titled “Family of slain DNC staffer Seth Rich blasts detective over report of WikiLeaks link,” and it led with a denunciation by the family of a private investigator it had itself hired, Rod Wheeler, for suggesting to Fox’s Sean Hannity the Rich-WikiLeaks connection. The general practice is to publish allegations and evidence, then the reactions from interested parties. The family released a statement through a spokesman, Brad Bauman.
“As we’ve seen through the past year of unsubstantiated claims, we see no facts, we have seen no evidence, we have been approached with no emails and only learned about this when contacted by the press,” the statement said. “Even if tomorrow, an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered and we’ve seen that those interest in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so.”
“We are a family who is committed to facts, not fake evidence that surfaces every few months to fill the void and distract law enforcement and the general public from finding Seth’s murderers. The services of the private investigator who spoke to the press was offered to the Rich family and paid for by a third party, and contractually was barred from speaking to press or anyone outside of law enforcement or the family unless explicitly authorized by the family.”
The Fox story didn’t even report, as WikiLeaks had reported in August 2016, that Brad Bauman was “a professional Democrat crisis PR consultant with the Pastorum Group.” Note that there is no point-blank denial by the family that Rich was WikiLeaks’ source.
There is a simple way to get to the bottom of all this: release Seth Rich’s computer to carefully vetted investigators. It is probably in the custody of the FBI, although it could be with the Washington Police Department, which is also investigating the murder. Rich’s computer will have the record of his email transmissions, unless someone tampered with the computer. If the record is intact, it will offer conclusive confirmation or refutation of the Fox story. If the record is not intact, or if the computer has been lost or is otherwise unavailable, or if its files have been corrupted, the conclusion is unavoidable: Seth Rich was the source for the WikiLeaks’ DNC email disclosure and the FBI knew it. The implications are horrendous.

At this point, none of the real evidence consisting of any digital information or communications can be trusted. It’s all been under the control of people with a strong incentive toward a particular pro-state narrative. It could say anything by now.
The fact remains that Seth Rich was in a position to have provided the information to Wikileaks, seems likely to have done so, and was murdered mere days after the revelation of information that likely cost Hillary Clinton the election.
Occam’s Razor applies. The simplest solution is most likely the correct solution. Even with the inherent danger of living and working in a dangerous place like gun controlled DC, the remote possibility that Seth was the victim of random street violence (and was not robbed after his murder) so soon after the information was given to Wikileaks is almost too ridiculous to contemplate.
How many such ridiculous coincidences are we expected to believe? How large a mountain of dead bodies can we ignore? Toss Seth’s body on top of that mountain of dead bodies. Arkancide 2016.
Don’t forget about the mysterious death (aka murder) less than a month later of Shawn Lucas who served the DNC officials, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, in the fraud suit over the deliberate sabotage of Bernie Sanders’ campaign. Shawn uploaded a popular YouTube video of the process serving, which he seemed to enjoy.

It may very well be time for WikiLeaks to make available the metadatas for their information receipt. The NSA definitely could provide the information, but there’s little chance of that happening.

It’s like treason and covering it up has become matter of surviving the scope of illegitimacy here.
The people involved have so many fingers in the holes in the dike, how many more fingers do they have to stop from being outed for the systematic treason taking place?
But more so, who will, and can, and has, the political power of legitimacy to go after all this?
Who left that can be trusted, and even if so, who takes it from there that is beyond scrutiny?
Because it sure looks to me congress is itself an instrument of treason. They have betrayed everyone and everything, consistently, with forethought and malice, without fail.

I appreciate your comment and look at it in the same light. But understanding that doesn’t provide the kind of insights you need to know where this goes if there is a “special” investigator. Thats just a canary in a coal mine, and the canary already died.
I’m thinking ever greater crisis of legitimacy, or crisis of the fig leaf and appearance of, legitimacy.
I mean, set aside the criminal corrupt nature, and ask how dumb can these people be.
We are in a moment of incredible manifest effect because of the cause.
Dirt people are resisting left and right. The normies are starting to get there is no voting our way out of this. People become manifest in that at a certain point.
These sonofabitches couldn’t stop at this point even if they wanted to, regardless of how you can’t fix this kind of stupid they are.
But what is the next stage in effect here because of all that. Thats what I’m trying to look out for, because if I understand these fuckers or not, the consequences are becoming more local every minute. And not for nothing, that is all I can do anything about way things are heading. My local area of operations.
Sure I would love to be able to walk right in that cesspool with 10,000 armed justified fellow dirt people and tell those cockroaches they are done, or dead.

The UK ambassador – Craig Murray – stated in clear term that Russia did not provide WikiLeaks with the emails/info exposed by WikiLeaks but rather an insider source whom should be properly called a whistleblower. Murray visited Julian Assange at WikiLeaks since it was he who picked up ‘the package’ at a park during night hours where the whistleblower said it could be found. During his various press conferences he repeatedly stated that Russia had nothing to do with the DNC/Hillary/Podesta expose via WikiLeaks.
Yet – they keep pushing this as though Murray does not exist. Also remember hacker Guccipher 2 who stated on his website that Russia did not provide him with the DNC expose which he also published on his website. He also stated in clear term that it was an insider and whistleblower.
Comey in my opinion has been a shady figure for many years always in service to the Clintons why end it now?
Remember Podesta in one of his emails also fingered Eric Bravermann – the CEO/auditor hired by Chelsea Clinton to audit the Clinton Foundation. He left unannounced half into his 2-yrs term to never be seen again.
Eric Braverman disappeared on 16 October 2016 and has not been heard from to this date? Where is he and why not one word from the Clinton’s or anyone in their circle to ask and mention this missing CEO? Why is that?
Just like Seth Rich did not even get one mention by the DNC or Hillary et al despite having been the democratic operative and campaign worker having had access to all emails and attachments.
I am convinced that Seth Rich was the whistleblower and insight source having provided WikiLeaks with the expose. Craig Murray – the UK ambassador and Julian Assange led me to that conclusion.
As far as Seth Rich’s computer I am also convinced that the hard drive has been wiped or the laptop no longer exist. Comey allowed the Hillary at al to destroy their laptops with hammers right before he indicted her publicly but let her walk away from being charged – the same man who gave all of her inner circle immunity. Imagine that!
When you think about his recent lie told about writing himself a memo after meeting with Trump in the white house on 17 February where Trump supposedly asked to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn the media obliged in pushing that lie. Here is a stubborn fact though: On 24 January 2017 this same Comey/FBI cleared Michael Flynn of all wrong doings including the Russia collusion and was reported by the NY Post/Washington Post. Why would Trump then have the urge to drop this same investigation nearly 1 months later on 17 February 2017 when he was already cleared by Comey??? Obviously Comey forgot to keep his lie straight and wrote a memo to himself and forgot to remember that the papers reported that he cleared him almost one months prior to this self serving memo???
Seth Rich – murdered, Eric Bravermann – missing, Ash – suicide (also due to testify against Clinton money man Ng, Attorney suing the DNC also murdered after serving the DNC with the lawsuit – all during the Hillary investigation and they want us believe this to be just bad timing?? Really?

I would not be surprised if someone is leaning on them. I can easily see the original hit being given to local Inepticons, and when it turned out he’d survived, been admitted, operated on and stabilized, the A-Team made their appearance. The family’s protestation is, as you say, “legalistic mumbo-jumbo.” This whole thing stinks, and it’s not going to be put to bed until Rich’s computer, or his contact in London with WikiLeaks’ computer, is examined and it is revealed whether or not Rich was the source of the emails.
