The more questions you ask about the Trump assassination attempt, the Republican convention, and the Democrats’ strategy, the more questions you’ll have. Answers are in painfully short supply. From Donald Jeffries at donaldjeffries.substack.com:
The script gets more confusing
I’ve been doing a lot of talking about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. The fact that most of those I’ve discussed this with are dubious that there was a legitimate assassination attempt ought to tell you something. Those of us who are awake know we’ve been lied to about everything. Why believe this?
I tried to watch a bit of the Republican convention last week. Don’t ask me why. Maybe I wanted to see just how big Amber Rose’s butt was. Incidentally, why was Amber Rose a speaker? Apparently her claim to fame is as a “video vixen” in hip-hop videos. Nothing says “Make America Great Again” better than that. Amber is a classic American success story, the kind George W. Bush used to extol. She began stripping at age fifteen. Both RINOs and MAGA people love entrepreneurs. Amber is a feminist activist who once called Trump “a fucking idiot.” So she joins all the other Never Trumpers that Trumpenstein has warmly embraced since he entered politics. She is half-naked in pretty much every available photo of her. I see her as cabinet material. She’s no more ridiculous than Trump’s one time Reality TV co-star Omarosa, who he appointed as some kind of “public liaison” in 2017.
Trumpenstein was not the only WWE Hall of Famer in attendance at the Republican convention. Hulk Hogan, arguably the most famous wrestler of all time, made a speech. In his WWE outfit. Using his WWE lingo. Hogan’s alleged reluctance to let his daughter date Black men was forgotten amid the hoopla over all the “diversity” this “White Supremacist” party was bragging about. Never forget that Trump’s approval rating among Black and Hispanic men has risen dramatically. That’s become a crucial part of the MAGA platform. Then there was Kid Rock. I don’t know, I just don’t get his act. Doesn’t seem that talented to me. Kind of a less high Snoop Dog. Like lefty John Cougar Mellencamp, he tries to portray himself as a blue collar guy. But he, like Mellencamp, actually comes from great wealth.
Wars tend to shake things up. The bigger the war, the more the turbulence. From Nick Giambruno at internationalman.com:
The F-22 Raptor is the best air dominance warplane in the world.
It’s the top dog fighter jet.
The F-22’s advanced avionics, stealth capabilities, and maneuverability make it an unmatched platform for hunting and killing other aircraft.
While Russia, China, and several other nations have their own air dominance fighters, it’s doubtful they would fare well against an F-22 in air-to-air combat.
In short, the F-22 is critical to the US Air Force’s ability to control the skies in a potential conflict with a sophisticated enemy.
That’s why the F-22 Raptor is one of the few warplane models the US government does not export to any foreign country—not even to Israel or its NATO allies.
The F-22’s highly advanced stealth capabilities give it a significant edge over other air dominance fighter jets. In air-to-air combat, enemy fighter jets probably wouldn’t even know there was a Raptor nearby until it was too late.
The potential presence of an F-22 in an area would give any hostile air force an excellent reason to think twice before challenging the US Air Force.
That’s why the US stations F-22s in Japan as a deterrent to China’s air force should it make a move on Taiwan, for example.
However, all of this could change soon… and have enormous geopolitical implications.
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Israel, and the U.S. have done their best to try to take down Yemen and the Houthis, to no avail. From Lucas Leiroz at strategic-culture.su:
A year after the start of the war, Yemen continues to cause significant damage to Israel and its allies in the Middle East
When hostilities between the Palestinian Resistance and the Zionist regime began in late 2023, Yemen was the only country to declare war on Israel, making the greatest gesture of solidarity with the Palestinians of any country in the region. At the time, Zionist and pro-Western militants repeatedly stated that the Yemenis would be destroyed in a few days by the supposedly “invincible” joint military force of Israel and the US. Almost a year later, reality has proven very different from the fanciful Zionist predictions.
First of all, it is necessary to clarify that the term “Houthi” has been commonly used by the Western media in a pejorative way, to differentiate the de facto government of the country – which is controlled by the political wing of the Houthi ethnic group – from the “official” government – already militarily defeated on the battlefield and self-exiled in Saudi Arabia. There is no point in avoiding using the name of the country – “Yemen” – to refer to actions taken by the Houthi government, simply because the Houthis have already won the civil war and are currently the legitimate government of the country.
So, when the “Houthis” began military operations against Israel and its allies in the Red Sea, it was the National State of Yemen that declared war on the Zionists – not a mere ethnic militia. Induced by Western and Zionist propaganda, global public opinion believed that a militia of “primitive Shiites” could not cause any damage to the strong US and Israeli structures in the Middle East. There were high bets that Washington and Tel Aviv would quickly destroy “the Houthis” and reestablish the Saudi proxy government to neutralize Yemen as a regional adversary. All of this turned out to be absolutely wrong. The war between Yemen and Israel’s allies is a war between states – and in this conflict the Yemeni armed forces have proven themselves strong enough to cause profound damage to the enemy.
My outbursts of “sudden shouting,” also known as ranting, were occasioned by astonishment and anger at the audacity of the “Trump shooting” hoax and the gullibility of those who believe it. We have seen some bad magic tricks before—pathetic efforts to convince us that Oswald shot Kennedy from the Book Depository with the world’s worst rifle, or that the Twin Towers and Building 7 blew up due to modest office fires—but the claim that Trump was shot in the ear may be the most hilariously ludicrous history-steering hoax ever.
As I wrote a few days ago, if Trump had gotten his bloody 7/13 coronation PR stunt through sheer luck, he would have defied odds equivalent to winning the lottery. What are the odds that the first-ever amateur to attempt to shoot Trump at a rally would manage to squeeze off any bullets? Maybe 1 in 1000 at best. Normally, security would nail him long before he could shoot.
And if the lone nut defied those odds and somehow managed to bring a weapon to within a kilometer or two of a rally, what are the chances that his bullets would travel anywhere near Trump? Essentially zero, if the Secret Service were doing its job.
Now Elon Musk claims that Tesla can live without the EV subsidies that have been its sustenance for years. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:
The final chapter of the electric vehicle price war ignited by Tesla’s Elon Musk could hinge on the outcome of the November elections, especially if former President Trump wins.
Trump has expressed no issues with EVs and recently stated, “I will end the Electric Vehicle Mandate on Day One — thereby saving the US auto industry from complete obliteration, and saving US customers thousands of dollars per car.”
Translation: The former president states that all federal EV subsidies will end if he wins in November.
But why would Musk support a complete reversal in the federal government’s policy on EV subsidies if Tesla relied so heavily on the EV credits to stoke demand? Unless Tesla is at the point where it no longer needs the taxpayer-funded gravy train.
Last week, X user Whole Mars Catalog wrote on X:
“Tesla doesn’t need subsidies. The other unprofitable EV makers do. We are giving $7,500 to people who buy GAS cars with a small battery. We are capping the price of EVs, hurting the profitability of the industry. If the EV tax credit dies I won’t shed a tear for it.”
Musk responded: “Take away the subsidies. It will only help Tesla. Also, remove subsidies from all industries!”
We may never know if the Democrats were behind the Trump assassination attempt, but they’ve been behind plenty of other conspiracies against him. From Victor Davis Hanson at amgreatness.com:
Can we cease the charge of Trump the fascist since it has not only been proven false but has revealed far more about the authoritarian and conspiratorial nature of the accusers than their target?
Who has most peddled conspiracy allegations the last nine years—all of them false and nearly all of them influencing national elections and public policies?
Once a target is constructed as Hitlerian, almost any means necessary to quash that perceived existential threat become justified. And we have seen a lot of them in the last nine years.
Russian collusion did not work. Christopher Steele was a fraud. Robert Mueller came up empty.
The Alfa Bank ping caper was a myth.
The Russian laptop disinformation was a lie and ruined the reputations of the “51 former intelligence authorities” who sanctioned it.
The first Trump impeachment was a strictly partisan vote, activated when Trump lost the House and Mueller had come up empty.
Only ten Republicans impeached Trump a second time; the Senate again acquitted then-private citizen Trump.
January 6 was a buffoonish riot. In magnitude and lethality, it marked only a fraction of the destruction in lives and property of the green-lit Antifa-BLM-organized 120-day “summer of love” of rioting, violence, and arson of 2020.
Anyone who falls for it this time deserves what he or she gets. From Daisy Luther at theorganicprepper.com:
The more we learn about the made-up rules enforced during the COVID-19 pandemic, the more outrageous the entire thing becomes. Anthony Fauci had the utter audacity to sit in Congress and admit they had no data, so they just creatively improvised things like social distancing measures. They fooled a lot of folks once, so shame on them. It looks like they’re about to try and fool us twice with the Bird Flu. If we fall for it again, then shame on us.
Then as if 2020 and 2021 weren’t brutal enough, we find out from Congressional investigations and Anthony Fauci’s recent testimony it was all a bunch of baloney to make Big Pharma rich and Big Government powerful. People died who didn’t need to die, the elderly became isolated from their loved ones, medical personnel became burned out and traumatized, and children lost an entire year of educational experiences. Others were vaccinated, some eagerly and some grudgingly, and are suffering longterm disability and even death from the hastily created mRNA vaccine.
If we don’t take away some lessons from this, we don’t deserve to call ourselves preppers.
And it looks like we’re about to be tested on what we’ve learned.
The Bird Flu
Last week, Dr. Peter McCullough of The Wellness Company released an update on where we stand with the bird flu (H5N1), where this is heading, and what individuals can do to stay safe and informed.
First, Dr. McCullough says the mass destruction of livestock to “eradicate” the virus is “futile” and will only work to harm our food supply – not end the spread of bird flu.
Diversions divert attention from who really has the power and how they’re using it. From John and Nisha Whitehead at rutherford.org:
“The two ‘sides’ of mainstream politics are not fighting against one another, they’re only fighting against you. Their only job is to keep you clapping along with the two-handed puppet show as they rob you blind and tighten your chains while your gaze is fixed on the performance.”—Caitlin Johnstone
A failed assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. An incumbent president withdrawing his re-election bid at the 11th hour. A politicized judiciary that fails to hold the powers-that-be accountable to the rule of law. A world at war. A nation in turmoil.
This is what controlled chaos looks like.
This year’s election-year referendum on which corporate puppet should occupy the White House has quickly become a lesson in how the Deep State engineers a crisis to keep itself in power.
Don’t get so caught up in the performance that you lose sight of what’s real.
This endless series of diversions, distractions and political drama is the oldest con game in the books, the magician’s sleight of hand that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.
It was February 1933, a month before national elections in Germany, and the Nazis weren’t expected to win. So they engineered a way to win: they began by infiltrating the police and granting police powers to their allies; then Hitler brought in stormtroopers to act as auxiliary police; by the time an arsonist (who claimed to be working for the Communists in the hopes of starting an armed revolt) set fire to the Reichstag, the German parliamentary building, the people were eager for a return to law and order.
Europe was the first bloc incorporated into the U.S.’s post World War II empire. From Yves Engler at counterpunch.org:

NATO’s new focus on China harkens back to the belligerent alliance’s early days.
At the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s 75th anniversary summit in Washington, DC, last week China was a big part of the agenda. The NATO summit’s final declaration mentioned the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) 14 times. It noted that “the PRC continues to pose systemic challenges to Euro-Atlantic security” and China’s “stated ambitions and coercive policies continue to challenge our interests, security and values.”
The leaders of NATO “partner” nations Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia attended the summit. They collectively met NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to map out strategy for the Asia Pacific region. NATO announced four new joint projects with countries that are important to Washington’s bid to establish an anti-China military bloc. In response, Beijing accused NATO of “inciting bloc confrontation and hyping up regional tensions”.
Unsurprisingly, NATO frames its focus on China as defensive. “The PRC has become a decisive enabler of Russia’s war against Ukraine”, claimed the summit’s final communique. According to this storyline, Chinese relations with Russia threaten NATO. But this is exaggerated. China has taken a cautious approach to Russia’s war largely complying with (illegal) US sanctions and refusing to sell arms (though its companies sell some dual use products to Russian firms). Conversely, North Korea and Iran are selling Russia arms while NATO countries are donating large amounts of weapons to Ukraine.
