The Wall Street Journal, “Why ‘How It’s Made’ is a TV Hit, 12/19/14

Ms. Mullin is referring to the hit series, “How It’s Made.” The show does segments that take it to factories and other production facilities and demonstrates how things, some prosaic, some exotic, get made. It has been on the air for 12 years and has shown how over 1,200 products are made, from hot dogs to semiconductors. If you’ve never been to a factory, put a trip on your bucket list. The production of just about anything is fascinating, and this show has tapped into that fascination, not just in the US but around the world. Congratulations to the Science Channel, producer André Douillard, narrator Brooks Moore, and the rest of the cast and crew.
