He Said That? 4/13/15

From Alistair Baskey, a White House National Security Council spokesman:

The United States is providing our partners with necessary and timely intelligence to defend Saudi Arabia and respond to other efforts to support the legitimate government of Yemen.

In Yemen, the US is helping Sunni Saudi Arabia fight Shiite Houthi rebels, which are allegedly backed by Shiite Iran (Iran denies it). In Syria and Iraq, the US is helping Shiite Iranian militias fight the Sunni Islamic State. Only the masterful mess that is US Middle Eastern policy could have us fighting and allied with the same country in two separate wars.

  1. of course Iran is supporting the Shi’a in Yeman. The Isramerican ISIS debacle – ISIS being no more than a morph of the Sunni terrorists formatted by Isramerica to overthrow Assad’s Shi’s regime in Syria – has now given Iran the opportunity to take over half the Middle East. Which they are doing

  2. It’s all very Catch-22. Makes me wonder if Milo Minderbinder isn’t involved in this whole Syria/Iraq/ISIS/Iran/Yemen thing somewhere. (With Pres. Obama in Col. Cathcart’s role and Valerie Jarrett as Ex-PFC Wintergreen?)
