News flash to the powers that be, in Iran, the US, and the rest of the world: normal people do not share in your grand designs, political machinations, or power lust. Most people just want to get on with their lives, to improve their situation, to be “normal.” Why on earth they have to put up with power’s often deadly fun and games is an unsolved, centuries-old mystery.
