Has It Been Years Since You Read A Novel You Cherish?

Remember the first time you read a favorite novel? Taking it to bed for a chapter…and staying up all night! Wishing it would never end…but knowing before it did that you’d read it again and again. It became yours, a part of you. Wouldn’t you love to find another novel like that?

A great novel journeys to new lands, distant times, and unforgettable characters. The story grabs you on page one and never lets go, ever

An Age of Giants

Almost every good, service, and technology you enjoy today had its roots in the Industrial Revolution. Long-haul railroads, telephones, electric lights, automobiles, airplanes, oil refining and mass production: a trove of exciting innovations…abundance and wealth the likes of which the world had never seen!

The era produced spellbinding stories, giant epics of larger-than-life men and women. You’ll have a front row seat! The Golden Pinnacle‘s Daniel Durand fights impossible odds and dangerous enemies on his journey from orphaned rags to Wall Street riches.

Endless Battles

Fresh from Civil War battles, Daniel must battle to win beautiful Eleanor’s hand. Her powerful father opposes both his marriage and business. In New York, the city that put the Gilded in the Gilded Age, Daniel builds a Wall Street empire. He finances industrial titans J.D. Rockefeller and J.J. Hill, and clashes with Theodore Roosevelt and J.P. Morgan.

A fascinating and engaging tale that weaves historical figures and events seamlessly into the life of Daniel Durand, an orphan and self-made man who throughout his life shows the strength of character and initiative to meet challenges head on with honesty and integrity.

Love compelling family sagas? Settle in with The Golden Pinnacle. One of Daniel’s most dangerous enemies is his own son! A ruthless dynasty uses him to uncover a secret that could send Daniel to the gallows. Eleanor’s steadfast belief in her son is his only chance of redemption…if it doesn’t destroy her marriage.

It will make you cheer, cringe and cry for characters you won’t soon forget.

Are You Tired of…

The same plots over and over again?
Stories that glorify human failings and depravity?
Authors who write by formula?
Boring, people-next-door characters?
Novels of no substance: intellectual bubblegum?

What Readers Say

Take it from regular readers, who thought so highly of The Golden Pinnacle they enthusiastically posted on Amazon.

I just finished the final chapter, and found myself moved to tears. This is a MUST READ for all who wonder what happened to the unflinching American spirit….
Let it inspire you as it did me.

I could hardly put this book down much like when I read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It draws you in, making you believe it was real and it may have been real. Completely enjoyed!
Ed Weaver

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical novels. Not many are written for this time period, which made it doubly enjoyable.
Joanne M. Robbins

I have recommended this to many friends and all have thanked me.
Edmund Hasenjager

If I could give this book a 1000 star rating, I would. This is one of those books that clearly gets inside your mind and your soul…I found myself reading this book as slowly as I could just so it would last a bit longer. Can’t say I have ever done that before. My advice: when you decide to read this masterful piece of historical fiction, clear your schedule because you will not want to put this book down.

Hi, my name is Joe X

I have assembled a list of Bullet Points of things you do not know and if you did? Shame on you for doing nothing about it. A mere 40 or so thousand words, some even coherent and for your word salad pleasures, I have dressing to taste. The bullet points are only a thought put to cyber space paper and pen, the following commentary unedited, rough and raw because I do not do very well with constant consonance competence to verb with and have difficulty in diagramming a sentence and could not care for any and damned all to Hell about a participle which I shall dangle for you with pixel clarity, billions of them in your cerebral capacity until they explode grey matter to the surrounding territories the realm of possibilities, I think. And you should too. Did I mention my name was Joe X?

Before we get to the bullet points of which there are 61, so far and as you should know by now, I have more. I will offer the first ten for fee. The following extraction of, copy that here?

Freedom, which resulted in a revolutionary idea the United State of American and independence from King an Queen alike, self rule. But that ended when Saint Karl Marx a gift of the evil German man gods wrote the anti-bible, Das Kapital, and the communist manifesto of feudal war for the new Capitalist and Communist battle of rulers with control issues, the new game economics. Need I say terrorism? Or, perhaps the the new math where 1+1=3, or perhaps more in the case of twins, the algebraic equation A+B=C=Child, boy and girls, moms and dads? It is Progressive. I have more, for fee, I don’t accept charity., anything if you please?

  2. Sorry, I left out an important part in the last comment, the title. So here it is:
    Full Auto
    God, Guns and Country
    With Bullet Points
    By Joe X
Not in its entirety, but brief peak at the bullet points. The Beginning bullet point starts with the book of Genesis. God created the heavens and the earth with brief description of ruler and the ruled, to the new beginning, the progressive period in the USA and the error of our ways.

The whole premise being what happened to Main Street USA? The fictional little town of Gopher Prairie wrote about by Lewis is where I started and logged 28,000 mile and hundreds of Main Streets making a big X across the heartland of the USA, hence the reason for the X, mostly. Near the end of beginning bullet point, I have written the following:

Then the new beginning started somewhere around 1900 AD about the same time the man gods of money created monkey mans evolution, which suddenly evolved to create the Federal Reserve and the income tax with a big bang which begat the thinking man’s evolution back to the stone age, by thinking monkey man started it all, made monkeys out of all of us.

Evolution had little to do with Darwin’s “Origin of Species”, Evolution was a theory bases on his observation and knowledge he had available at the time, but it was the scientific method. There is a huge difference between theory and fact. There is also a huge difference between the scientific method used in science to discover what we believe to be fact and scientific method used for promotion of a Progressive political agenda. What evolved was the creation of a new religion of Evolution to compete and eventually discredit the religion of the Bible, creation and that is intellectual dishonesty for taking theory and presenting it as fact of science, because it was not.

Evolution was a concoction of the Progressive era for political purpose. The Progressives were socialist activists with many agenda, one being to deconstruct our Constitutional Republic of representative government and replace it with direct democracy which had been defined long ago as mob rule.

Some think the Progressive era ended by about 1920. That is when Sinclair Lewis published “Main Street”. The time period he wrote about was 1910, the Progressive era. I think what he was getting at was this, this cannot end well. In reality what the Progressive era gave was not only The Federal Reserve, the income tax, prohibition, ill advised Amendments to the US Constitution, eugenics and a multitude of unhappiness, that resulted from WWI and recession to follow, high time of the roaring twenties of free money (credit) and speakeasy from prohibition complete with gangsters, drunk and stupid debt that ended in the stock market crash in 1929 that started the Great Depression that only ended because of WWII in 1941. Then progress continued with the NEW BIG DEAL of FDR, another pack of lies from a Progressive.

Oh, one other thing, because of the two world wars, the US would import the Frankfort School from Germany to the US system of Public Education. In the meantime the Russians and Chinese were having a communist revolution between world wars and after. Could it be the man gods of money the Progressive were setting up a communist revolution here in the USA as well? NO! “it can’t happen here”

Bullet point, The Turning Point, a slice, as follows:

There is another book that explains Hanoi Jane’s picture even more. “Prairie Fire” The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism – Political Statement of the Weather Underground” Published in 1974. For the Weather Underground Berardine Dohrn, Billy Ayers, Jeff Jones and Cilia Sojourn idolize Fidel Castro and Che Guevara and I might add Karl Marx. Ho Chi Min and HighChairMan Mao. A quote from the book with the heading called “The Turning Point” “The year 1968 was the high point and a turning point. It is not surprising that the maturing of the movement took place at a time when the world was in flames.”

Fast forward past the all the struggle and oppression of a bunch of spoiled, little rich brats, now adult children to the end that justifies being mean. “We create the seeds of the new society in the struggle for the destruction of the empire. For our generation that has meant the birth of communism and world collective work in the most individualistic, competitive society in the world. Revolution is the midwife bringing the new society into being from the old.”

Bullet Point 13> the Turning point. There was no talk of Climate Change previous to 1968, but there was talk of the weather, man.

Exactly 50 years, 1968 to 2018. Hope that clears up and few thing, that is the resistance today and it is bigger and well funded than you may think. I add this, Student debt, college loans were the entrapment for the next wave, of young and foolish communists to carry on the deception.
