why does the department of education desperately want to break AI? by el gato malo

Artificial intelligence would probably do better educating children than the real world lack of intelligence rife in our educational system. From el gato malo at boriquagato.substack.com:

i spoke recently about the dangers posed to the credentialed classes by the emergence of real AI. the potential to outperform doctors, lawyers, coders, etc is significant.

but what of teachers? because that’s really going to be a doozie.

AI can do far more with far less than just about anything ever considered. unlimited, unfettered, individualized education that can range to any topic imaginable and can learn and adapt to how every student learns, their speed, interests, progress, learning style, you name it.

immersive customized always-on education at pennies on the dollar vs current systems is going to change everything.

it’s a whole new era of potential to learn and a whole new means of breaking the social control of a public school system that was always intended to be more about indoctrination than education.

this system has been used to shape and cultivate and groom children to ends in the interest of the state who provides it not the best interest of the students.
