Is there anything they’re not going to outlaw? From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

As of a couple of days ago, it is illegal for retail stores to sell lightbulbs. Well, incandescent lightbulbs. The reason for this is simple.

They are inexpensive.

And that is always a problem for the grifters who operate the machinery of the government, which is used to enrich themselves and their attendant lampreys in corporate America, who profit from impoverishing us.

There was a time when it cost less than a buck to buy two 75 watt incandescent bulbs – and it wasn’t 50 years ago, either. It was before the federal government decided it would “save people money” by forcing them to buy LED lightbulbs that cost five-times-plus as much.

Few ask the obvious question: If it “saves us money,” then why is it necessary to force people to buy it? Wouldn’t a money-saving device be appealing to people?

  1. IMO, it’s more than $$. LEDs are very harmful to ones health due to the narrow spectra of light which is generated. Incandescent bulbs, on the other hand, generate a broad spectrum of wavelengths not too dissimilar from the sun. I bought myself an entire case of 60W incandescent bulbs online a few months ago which should last us quite a long time.

    You can’t have a new Dark Ages without banning everything.
    Those old bulbs are good for the winter time as alternate heat source and meth heads use them for a pipe.
    After the EMP and redistribution to Bidenville shanties where you’ll own nothing and like it because property is theft, there won’t be any need for such constructs of the white male patriarchy as let there be light.
