The putrid but popular tenets that dominate today’s culture can’t stand examination, question, or challenge, which is why the propagators of those tenets fight so hard to insulate them. Their efforts are failing. From el gato malo at boriquagato.substack.com:
only that which is dead may cease to struggle
every once in a while, you see a piece of pure, distilled wisdom.

boom.
nailed it.
you cannot found a valid movement upon that which cannot be moved, but the class of people “too educated to learn anything” will nonetheless cling to such praxis unto death (and beyond) and shall ever cart about their sacred dead like incan mummies still granted unimpeachable places at the table of discourse.
the anointed ideology itself is meaningless, its tenets incidental. it exists only as a signifier of the prerogative to speak without contradiction or challenge.
there could be no more bankrupt ideology, no more helpless or hapless a creature unable to survive outside the cultivated terrariums of special pleading to which it is indigenous than this non-interrogatable doctrine not just of faith but of fealty that has come to pass as “intellectualism.”
this frailty is precisely why they must defend their dogmas so fiercely.
whither withers academia.
that’s just the way it is when one gets too drunk upon appeals to one’s own authority. whole societies spring up to enable and glorify it.
rarified enough times, it elevates actual idiots to preside over “the movement” because anyone else would be able to rotate the shape and recognize the absurdities for which they were playing parade marshal.
you’re literally selecting for “failed upward power-fools.”
and you will get them.
The outstanding article by “Gato” has served to remind me of one of the many achievements of Ayn Rand. Her conception of “hatred of the good for being the good.” In a remarkable 30-minute speech given by Tucker Carlson on November 21st in Las Vegas, without realizing it, he actually “backed into” this conception!
Much as does Gato, I use the word “Woke” (and “Wokester”) to represent a summarization of what has unfolded morally/intellectually in America. What does this concept define?
It represents the manifestation in reality of Rand’s tenet!
A Wokester quite literally hates the entirety of previously understood “liberal” values largely embodied by “Western civilization.” They view these values in terms of oppressor-oppressed, victim-victimizer, and those dominant over those who they dominate!
They wish, as Doug Casey puts it, “to overturn the entire culture much the same way as the Jacobins overturned it in revolutionary France, the Bolsheviks overturned the culture in Russia, the Red Guards in China, or Pol Pot did in Cambodia.
They’re stridently against free speech, free thought, free markets, tradition, and limited government—nothing new there. But they’ve weaponized gender and race as well. They see themselves as the wave of the future, but they’ve only repackaged the notions of Marx, Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler.”
In summary, a Wokester also hates both humanity as well as themselves. A hatred of whatever might come to be thought of as representative of “the good,” for no reason other than the remorseless GOOD that the objects of their hatred display!
I cherish the idea – as Gato argues, they have indeed overplayed their hand! A hand in which they were “bluffing.” Bluffing because the other participants in the game had mistakenly failed to call it! A bluff they have finally called on themselves!
Vote accordingly – if we remain able…….
