We’re seeing an attempted top-down revolution in real time. From T.L. Davis at tldavis.subtack.com:

The rebellion of the government against the people continues. Despite the fact that 70% of the population believe the border to be the most important issue of our day and that something close to that believes the out-of-control government spending, which drives inflation, is the second most important issue of our day, the senate is wholly focused on funding Ukraine.
The threat that Russia is poised to take on the world, starting with NATO-aligned Poland and the rest of Europe as soon as Putin is done with Ukraine, is a fallacy perpetuated by corrupt senators and representatives. As these politicians who seem incapable of doing anything positive for the American public try to equate 2024 Russia to 1938 Nazi Germany they have become absurdities. The very fact that Russia has spent two years and billions of dollars attempting to take Ukraine makes such grandiose claims absurd.
But the bumbling, fumbling Joe Biden wants us all to believe that funding Ukraine is the very equivalent of saluting the flag. Anyone, he suggests, who opposes the new senate bill to fund Ukraine, not just for 2024, but ‘25 and ‘26, is some sort of traitor. It does cause one to speculate as to why they intend to fund Ukraine into the future. Perhaps Joe wants to ensure his kickbacks continue after he is no longer president. Or, could it be that it’s a way of funding their dirty tricks campaign in the DNC through the 2026 election? The ability to cheat and fund legal challenges to prevent inspection of actual outcomes is an expensive ordeal.
A uniparty that contains establishment Republicans is an automatic supermajority for the Democrats, no matter whether or not the voting public is 70% Republican or not. That’s the insurance policy they have against America-First candidates and it ensures that the administrative state continues to hold all power over the several states in the Union.
Regarding the worthless useless spineless Neo-Whig republicants:
