Russia fears a NATO attack. Here’s why. By Igor Istomin

Who knows what desperate American policymakers will do. From Igor Istomin at swintr.site:

As its Ukrainian proxy faces defeat, the US-led bloc is becoming increasingly reckless. Where will this hubris lead us?

The possibility of a trans-European war is closer today than at any time since the mid-20th century. Western analysts discuss various scenarios of a possible conflict, while officials openly speculate about its likelihood and even discuss specific time horizons.

In a recent speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the actions of Western governments had brought the world “to the point of no return.” At the same time, domestic debate in Russia is dominated by the belief that the US and its allies recognize the catastrophic risks of a direct military confrontation with Moscow and will seek to avoid it for reasons of self-preservation.

Such judgments are based on the assumption that the West, despite its aggressiveness and arrogance, is guided in its policies by a rational balance of benefits and costs based on the existing balance of power. Past experience, however, does not convince us that the US-led bloc is capable of pursuing a balanced, calculated course.

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, the West repeatedly became involved in military adventures from which it then painfully sought a way out. One need only recall the examples of the interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. Of course, in all these cases, the risks were significantly lower than in the case of a hypothetical war with Russia. But the stakes were also significantly lower.

Those look like the UN blue helmets in beret style.

Don’t wear those in the killing field as Ivan will have an aiming point.

Poland wanting to host nukes and more might have something to do with Ivan perking up his ears?

Germany, UK, Fwance, and other places sending gear might have something to do with it.

Vlad has finally figured out what Satanic slime the FUSA and its rump ranger vassals are?

    Hopefully.

They [historians] claim that Operation Barbarossa was heading off Stalin at the pass regarding the invasion of Europe, wouldn’t that be rich if Ivan pulled a move of his own to preempt the attack, to tie them up and hold them down.

Maybe not even a WAR military move and how about that blown up pipeline.

Thats gotta suck being a once proud nation now getting slapped around by your pimp daddy.

  3. It sounds like a grand excuse for the EU to assemble a Wehrmacht, Adolph the Great’s first pan-European volunteer army since the Crusades.

Only this time, in the name of the Communist occupiers, rather than as a Nationalist army.

The EU army, as United Nations blue helmets, would build back better the decimated EU economies under an MIC aegis.

Russia is rising, buoyed by its conversion to a military economy. Were the EU to do so, following the successful WWII model of America having done so- that is, going from World Police to Pirate Nation- I can see the 1984 economic model of continuous low-level conflict between the 3 Powers of Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia replacing the century of Kapitalist Democracies. Just as BIS-financialized corporate democracies replaced the Westphalian empires after WW1.

A 1984 world order, with a heavy dose of Brave New World domestically to pacify the rubes at home.

“This is why we fight, to preserve our Way of Life!”, shrieked the tattooed lesbian abortion activists, their tranny allies, and the migrant-adjacent New Citizens as white boys got sent off to die.
