The sexual abuse of children is one of the few remaining bright line moral issues for an overwhelming majority of people. It’s at the heart of the Epstein scandal and people’s reaction to the Trump administration trying to sweep it under the rug. From T.L. Davis at tldavis.substack.com:
What Trump doesn’t realize, or want to recognize, is that the Jeffrey Epstein issue is not about Jeffrey Epstein, it’s about child sexual abuse. It’s about the judicial system and whether it’s taking such issues and complaints seriously enough to satisfy Trump’s supporters. It’s clear that the Democrats support child genital mutilation with enthusiasm, that they consider 3-year-olds sexual objects and condone child brides as young as 9 years old. What the majority of Trump supporters want to know from him is: does he? Trivializing Jeffrey Epstein is the same as trivializing child sexual abuse.
I don’t know what it takes to start deciding whether the US is going to become another Lebanon, but I don’t want to be another Lebanon. Sharia Law is incompatible to the U.S. Constitution, morality, decency and 12th Century European sensibility. They cannot coexist and when given the choice, the people must put up a much stronger defense against barbarism. One can look at Minnesota today and see the pattern. It’s taking place in Texas, too and soon Texas will have to decide what they’re going to do about it. Then, they’re going to have to do that.
I’m not talking about the government, either, in any of this. The government is captured, the federal and the state governments. They refuse to recognize a threat and it’s a form of treason to turn a blind eye to the capitulation of Western values. They were sworn to a duty and have consistently, brazenly defied that oath and if we let them, it will tear down everything built over the past 400 years.
A society that harms children or exposes them to sex at an early age has NO future.
