Trump will get the crowds roaring – maybe – by promising investigations to be followed unspecified consequences that will of course never materialize. Because – as everyone not an outright imbecile ought to have figured out by now – consequences are (to crib a line from the late Leona Helmsley) only for the little people. You or I get caught not wearing a seatbelt or “speeding” and we’ll experience consequences. Dr. Fauci and Dr. Walensky – remember her? – can diddle an entire nation and nothingn of consequences happens to them. The Epsteiners are in the same protected class. They can diddle girls not old enough to get a driver’s license and there are no consequences.
