Did Israel Assassinate Charlie Kirk? A Cautionary Assessment, by Ambrose Kane

A wise reminder not to rush to conclusions in the Charlie Kirk assassination. From Ambrose Kane at unz.com:

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, a swirl of controversy has naturally arisen leaving only two opposing viewpoints as to who might have murdered him – a lone gunman and fanatical Leftist by the name of Tyler Robinson or an assassin hired by Israel to take out Kirk because he was starting to say inconvenient truths about Israel.

I don’t intend to resolve these questions in this brief article, and in light of all the mounting and conflicting information out there, I’m not even sure where I stand on this matter. The following are only my initial impressions or observations, and I could be completely wrong in failing to see the entire picture.

What I find intriguing, however, is how certain so many people are that Israel committed this wicked deed, and in asserting that like Lee Harvey Oswald, Tyler Robinson was just a “patsy” used by the Mossad – even though much of the information about that fateful day is fragmented, and there remains much that we simply don’t know. The FBI has not released all that it possesses in terms of evidence, eyewitness testimony, nor important details that will not be publicly disclosed until a later time at trial.

As a retired police officer and investigator, it doesn’t surprise me that a fully coherent and tight nit case hasn’t been presented to the media, one that satisfies most people. This is the nature of homicide investigations, particularly when high-profile persons are murdered. There are also multiple law enforcement agencies investigating Kirk’s death, and there are bound to be some conflicting information, false leads, and premature conclusions. The high-profile nature of this case more than likely makes the investigators especially cautious in sharing what they know. No one likes to be embarrassed, especially in such a public way because they weren’t thorough in their investigative efforts.

Law enforcement agencies are notorious for not fully cooperating and sharing investigative information with each other. All of this makes it difficult to neatly tie up a case in the way most people probably imagine.
