The Hater’s Ball, by The Zman

The alt-right is in the news. SLL claims no membership in that ill-defined group, although we’re probably fellow travelers on some issues. From The Zman at via

I got an e-mail from someone asking me questions about the alt-right. At first I thought it was a joke, but a little research revealed the person to be a reporter for a legitimate media site. Some guy from the Washington Post did a story on the hate think community the other day and he followed up with a primer for the good thinkers. Hillary Clinton is planning to bravely take on the alt-right in a speech somewhere, assuming they can sober her up and keep her from toppling over. Now that the Cloud People have a label, they plan to demonize anyone that opposes them as members of the alt-right.

I’m not sure of the protocol on these things so I’ll leave the identity of my correspondent out of this, but the query had the feel of an e-mail blast hoping someone would respond. One question was “When did you join the Alt-Right?” It’s the sort of question asked by people who have spent their life accumulating credentials in order to advance in the bureaucracy. “Comrade, I joined Party after leaving University, where I got degree in ideology and policy.” Managerial class types just assume everything works like the exam system of the managerial class.

I don’t consider myself in the alt-right, but I suppose that depends upon how you define it. If memory serves, Richard Spencer coined the term Alternative Right and his thing is white identity and white nationalism. I have no interest in those things and I don’t write much about race. I’m a biological realist and I think most of what we are as humans is in our genes, but I think forming a white ethno-state is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. The only thing dumber is the blank slate nonsense that comes from the managerial class through the mass media.

On the other hand, big foot journalists are now applying the label “alt-right” to anyone outside the government approved Left-Right orbit so maybe that does place guys like me in the club. John Derbyshire coined the term “Dissident Right” which is probably a better label. I don’t dream of a honky paradise. I just want one of the political parties to be slightly to the right of the Democrats of 1960. Half a century of cultural lunacy is enough. Let’s go back to what used to work for the bulk of the citizens.

None of that is important. What is important is the people in charge feel they need to do something about the growing hate-think community. Having Clinton waddle out in front of other humans is a high risk stunt, given her brain injuries, but having her take on the alt-right suggests the Cloud People are worried. As Hitler said, “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Maybe it was Gandhi who said it. I get the two mixed up all the time.

  1. That Zman is quite the thoughtful blogger, lot like you Mr. Gore. That’s given as a serious compliment too.
I’m really glad you guys are around.
In some ways, maybe you all don’t reckon it, but your natural born Alt-Right.

    Don’t recall who coined this:
“the alt-right really isn’t a political movement per se but rather a zeitgeist”
(I say Heuristic, “Left of Bang”)

From Alternative Right, a summary of the alt right:
“Equality is bullshit. Hierarchy is essential. The races are different. The sexes are different. Morality matters and degeneracy is real. All cultures are not equal and we are not obligated to think they are. Man is a fallen creature and there is more to life than hollow materialism. Finally, the white race matters, and civilisation is precious. This is the Alt-Right”
    (Simplifies things rather beautifully)

Me, I think the alternate right isn’t alternate, it is right.
It would be a really great thing if Amendments worked as garranteed us, because they originated out of the “Alt-Right” of the times. But reality is just that, the reality is those who usurp them, also hide behind them. And it is fast becoming our responsibility as free dirt people, to show the bastards what they connive to deny us…is irrelevant, just as they are.
We as a nation where once a fairly large collection of tribes. It worked for our part as dirt people for a time. In ways it still works, because they are burning the midnight oil after all this time to deny us our traditions and other primal things we “bitterly cling to”. And you know something? It will work again come hook or crook.
We have limited choices on this, as the choices are being made for us by cold blooded consequence and the truths of us, the equation is balancing itself out. In a way that is as it should be considering everything, it is a manifest thing. And how else could it have gone down looking at everything that has transpired?
I think there is a grand design behind it all. The results is it will bring out the best in us, regardless of the worst of us, in spite of, especially because of the worst of us, that is some sweet savings grace, providence. You see it everywhere, that grace. it is such a sublime thing. A heartening thing indeed.
History is circular. As a dirt person you have a choice to make. One is to rise to the occasion.
In some ways “4th” Generation war that is becoming “1st” generation war again is allegory. Nothing has really changed other than the fact the dirt people of the west are on the brink of returning to “normal” tribalism. The Alt-Right is a glimpse of that. “1st” Generation war was created for cucks and elites so they can enrich themselves and control and or extinguish the provincial nature of tribal culture. These are humans who create nothing, they enrich and make themselves relevant on the organized calculated creation of chaos and destruction of everything. Obviously, it is very profitable. “4th” Generation war, well in simplest terms, is the human terrain always on top, culture upstream of everything else.
Just get used to that truth and act, act mind you, accordingly.
