All right, all right, I’ll bump it up..’
There it’s open. Happy?
Sure, Persistence pays.
This is a test comment, back on 12/15 I tried to post a comment on . . . /2016/12/14/making-america-competitive-again-by-robert-gore/
three times, third try with a completely different computer / OS / browser, all failed, returning URL but comment not posted, or shown up as of this post. Trying again on yet a different computer / browser.
URL returned on third previous attempt:
https://straightlinelogic.com/2016/12/14/making-america-competitive-again-by-robert-gore/comment-page-1/#comment-18211
First two tries, comment #s were 18174, 18185. Trying post on this thread instead of original to see if just some anomaly with that thread. I still have text of original comment, if this post works, I can repost text of original comment here or somewhere else if original comment posts are not recoverable.
Looks like this one worked.
That’s very strange. I occasionally have problems with the older machine / browser I normally use for commenting here and elsewhere, it is more convenient than the newer machine which failed here earlier (but has never failed on any other website). I am posting this comment from my older, “usual” computer to see if the earlier problem was with that thread only, or if WordPress has made some change which makes this computer unusable on SLL – although I am still able to comment on most other WordPress sites with this machine.
