You may not listen to AM radio – which for the generations preceding the Millennials was what many of us listened to on lonesome road trips out in the sparsely populated areas of the country, where FM signals couldn’t reach but AM signals could.

But you might be interested in why AM is going away.

Well, it’s not actually going away. AM continues to broadcast. But a growing number of new cars cannot receive what is broadcast via AM.

Electric cars.

And electric trucks like the Ford F-150 Lightning this writer just spent a week test driving (you can read more about that if you like, here). They have satellite radio and FM radio – but not AM radio. Their audio systems have had the capacity to receive AM signals deleted.

How come?

Cell Tower Removed From Schoolyard Due to Cluster of Cancer Cases, by Joseph Mercola

There may be good reason to be concerned about the dangers of electromagnetic radiation in particularly the new 5G technology. From Dr. Joseph Mercola at lewrockwell.com:

A cluster of cancer cases among young children at Weston Elementary School in Ripon, California, has reignited the conversation about whether electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation from cell towers might be a contributing factor.1 In 2016, at the age of 10, Kyle Prime was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Five months later, his classmate, Mason Ferrulli, was diagnosed with brain cancer.

This year, two more children at the school have received cancer diagnoses. Three teachers have also been diagnosed with various forms of cancer since 2016, along with two preschool-age children that live near the school, and a former student, who was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 22.2,3

The parents of Prime and Ferrulli believe the Sprint cellphone tower located on campus might have played a role, even though tests reveal it’s functioning normally and emitting radiation below the government standard.

“It is classified as a possible carcinogen.4 That tells us that there is some evidence out there. We’re not naive to the fact that there could be other components out there — other environmental influences… but the bottom line that we feel in regards to this tower is it doesn’t belong there… if there’s any indications that its unsafe,” Monica Ferrulli told CBS News.5

California Parents Want To Have A Cell Phone Tower Taken Down Because Kids Just Keep Getting Cancer, by Michael Snyder

Could this be one of the reasons why cancer rates are steadily rising all over the world?  The radiation that we are constantly being bombarded with by the cell phone industry is one of the greatest environmental scandals in history, and yet the environmental movement is almost completely silent about this crisis.  As you will see below, scientific study after scientific study has linked cell phone use to cancer, and yet nothing is being done.  Instead, the big cell phone corporations are about to roll out their ultra-powerful 5G network nationwide, and that is just going to make this health crisis much worse.

Perhaps you are skeptical that cell phone radiation is a major threat.

Well, if your kid developed a life threatening case of cancer your attitude would probably change quite quickly.  In northern California, parents are fighting like mad to have a cell phone tower removed after a fourth child at a single elementary school was diagnosed with cancer…

A fourth child has been diagnosed with cancer at a San Joaquin County elementary school, and parents believe it’s because of radiation caused by a cell phone tower.

The towers are spread throughout the community, but it’s this particular one that parents say needs to go.

“We had a doctor tell us that it’s 100 percent environmental, the kind of tumor that he has,” said Monica Ferrulli.

So far the school district is not budging.  Perhaps it has something to do with the $2,000 a month that they are getting from the phone company.

Future generations are going to look back in horror at how self-destructive we were.  All the science tells us that cell phone radiation is dangerous, and yet we just can’t help ourselves.
