Why The U.S. Presidential Election Has The Entire World Confused, by Brandon Smith

Donald Trump will win the election, according to Brandon Smith, but will be discredited by the imminent economic crisis. This is a hypothesis to keep under consideration. From Smith at alt-market.com:

Well, everyone thought it was a sure thing — Hillary Clinton had the White House in the bag; the entire political system from the DNC to the RNC and the mainstream media had already called the election over and done. Online gambling sites listed Clinton as a sure bet and Irish site Paddy Power even paid out one million dollars on the assumption of a Clinton win. And then, one Weiner ruined everything — Anthony Weiner.

The revelation of an October surprise re-opening of the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s misuse of classified data on private and vulnerable email servers does not come as a shock to me, but it certainly does to many people around the world. Hundreds of mainstream outlets are scrambling to spin the news as misconduct by the FBI rather than a victory for the halls of justice. Numerous alternative media analysts are rushing to cover their butts and admit that there is now a “chance” of a Trump win. Confusion reigns supreme as the weirdest election in U.S. history continues to bewilder observers.

The first issue that needs to be addressed is the lack of an open mind displayed by some when it comes to the real purpose behind this election. The second issue here, of course, is one of timing.

Through the majority of this election cycle the public consensus has been that Clinton will win. Some argued that Trump would not be able to compete with the leftist media empire standing against him, while others have argued that the entire system including the Republican establishment would ensure that Trump would fail. The alternative media has in the past simply pointed out that elections have always been rigged, either by the elites playing both sides of the competition, or through outright voter fraud. They have assumed that the elites want Clinton, and therefore, the election has already been decided.

I tend to agree with the latter point of view, though I disagree with the conclusion. U.S. elections are indeed controlled, and have been for decades, primarily through the false left/right paradigm. However, as I have been pointing out since I correctly predicted the success of the Brexit referendum, I don’t think that Clinton is the choice of the elites.

I outline my reasons for this conclusion in-depth in articles like ‘2016 Will End With Economic Instability And A Trump Presidency‘, published in August. For the past several months it seems as though I have been the only person holding the view that Trump will be president. Only in the past few days have I received emails from readers stating that they used to think I was probably crazy, but now they aren’t so sure…

To be clear, my position is that Trump is slated to take the White House and that this is by design. This has been my position since before Trump won the Republican Primaries, it was my position when the election cycle began, it has never changed, nor have my views on the reasons for this outcome ever changed. Of course, the election is not over yet, and if Clinton ends up soiling the already thoroughly soiled Oval Office with her presence, then everyone can color me confused as well. That said, here are some issues that I think many people are overlooking when coming to conclusions on the election and the events surrounding it.

Trump in New Mexico, by Robert Gore

Sunday night my son and I attended a Donald Trump rally in Albuquerque. The rally was in a huge aircraft hangar next to the airport. The local paper said there were 4,000 people, but that seems like an underestimate; the hangar was packed. That Trump would campaign in New Mexico nine days before the election is significant. New Mexico is a majority Hispanic, reliably Democratic state. The trip was hastily arranged, but Trump wouldn’t have made it if he thought New Mexico was out of reach. He said a poll showed him in a dead heat. The state has only five electoral votes. It seems reasonable to assume that he must feel fairly comfortable about his prospects in the big swing states if he’s taking time away from them to visit New Mexico.

There were a few peaceful protesters, some of whom were dressed in clown suits. Trump supporters are clowns, get it? There had been some violence the last time Trump visited Albuquerque, but the airport is south of town. Maybe the drive and the parking—which left a hike to the hangar—deterred the troublemakers. Trump supporters ignored, smiled or waved at the protestors. My son and I stopped at one of the many vendors’ tables and bought T-shirts and hats.

I looked in vain for anyone exhibiting obvious signs of deplorability—racism, sexism, homophobia, or xenophobia. There were plenty of women and Women For Trump signs, T-shirts, and hats. Does Hillary For Prison constitute sexism? Hillary probably thinks so, but there was plenty of that slogan, too. About the closest anyone came to ticking off a box on the deplorables checklist was applauding Trump’s immigration proposals. Undoubtedly all correct-thinking Americans find such proposals xenophobic, but Trump supporters have this weird belief that a nation must control its borders to remain a nation, and they’re not letting go of it.

The crowd looked and acted like it could have been pulled from Albuquerque’s churches. It skewed older and white, but there were plenty of younger people, including children, and a fair number of Hispanics. One fact that the mainstream media will not acknowledge: an appreciable number of Hispanics were either born in the US or jumped through all the hoops for legal citizenship, are proudly part of the American mainstream, and are opposed to illegal immigration. This is especially true in New Mexico, where Hispanics arrived centuries before Anglos did (and Native Americans, some of whom were also in the crowd, arrived centuries before both). Is a Hispanic who opposes illegal immigration a xenophobe?

Trump knows a bit about showmanship. A white jet with an American flag and the Trump logo rolled up to the hangar about fifteen minutes before the speech was scheduled. Many in the crowd got excited, thinking it was Trump’s personal jet. A man next to me who worked on Boeing jets assured me it was not. About fifteen minutes later Trump’s personal jet taxied over from the runway (how refreshing, a politician who’s on time). It was a big Boeing 757, black with a purple Trump logo. It dwarfed the white jet, which must have been for the press, advance people, security, and the like. The Boeing expert said between the two planes there was at least $150 million worth of jet on the tarmac—wealth and success.

Trump stepped from the plane, waved to the roaring crowd, and strode to the dais. He had been traveling all day and it was his third speech, but he was dapper and energetic. Somewhere on that 757 he has a wardrobe of freshly pressed, expensive suits, a bathroom that most of us can only dream of, and a bed fit for a king. He radiates vigor and it’s impossible not to make the mental contrast with Hillary and her coughing fits, weird spasms and tics, and the 9/11 fall into the van.

New Mexicans and New Yorkers are different types of people, but Trump connected with his audience immediately. He didn’t talk down or up. Relaxed, with a ready smile, he spoke in an unaffected manner, sticking in some Big Apple sarcasm and humor. Until the Internet played it up, Hillary Clinton acquired a drawl in front of Southern audiences, which is just plain weird. Trump reminded the crowd that he’s visited New Mexico four times and Clinton has made no appearances. His speech ran about fifty minutes. It was the standard stump speech with a few factoids and appeals inserted for New Mexico. He’s given it hundreds of times, twice earlier that day, but like all good actors he delivers his lines with an enthusiasm and verve that makes them sound fresh.

He received a wildly enthusiastic response, with the audience chanting at various times, “Drain the swamp!” “Lock her up!” and “Trump! Trump! Trump!” He pointed towards the media platform and called them biased and dishonest, eliciting the loudest chant of the evening: “CNN sucks!” This election is as much about the mainstream media versus the Internet as it is about Clinton versus Trump. Whether Trump wins or loses, the traditional media is toast; it will never regain the presumptions of impartiality and veracity it once enjoyed. Its performance during the election is its death knell, hastening the triumph of the Internet.

Every Republican president since Gerald Ford has been portrayed as bumbling and stupid, while Democrats’ intellectual and character deficiencies are always downplayed or ignored. This year even ostensible Trump supporters preface their supportive words with the obligatory adjectives: crude, boorish, egotistical, bombastic, etc. Few among those who disparage him have made billion-dollar fortunes, and none have captured a major party presidential nomination and ran a competitive race in the face of daunting establishment and media hostility. Even as he may be on the verge of the most audacious feat in the history of American politics, few disparagers acknowledge what came through loud and clear at his rally: he is smart and successful, competent and confident, outspoken and independent.

America is headed for difficult times. Most Americans who aren’t drawing a paycheck from Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Wall Street or Washington know this. Do the majority pull the handle for independent, accomplished, and vigorous, or incompetent, corrupt, and sickly? In the privacy of mail-in balloting or the voting booth, a surprising number will choose the former, regardless of what they’ve told family, friends, and pollsters. Trump looks like a winner.

These Blast Points on Hillary’s Campaign… Only The Deep State Is So Precise, by Charles Hugh Smith

Another take on the new developments in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. From Charles Hugh Smith at oftwominds.com:

The Deep State’s most prescient elements must derail Hillary’s campaign to clear a path to Trump’s executive team.

Back in August, I asked Could the Deep State Be Sabotaging Hillary? I think we now have a definitive answer: “These blast points on Hillary’s campaign… too accurate for the Mainstream Media. Only the forces of the Imperial Deep State are so precise.”

The Mainstream Media is presenting the FBI investigation as a “lose-lose” situation for embattled FBI Director Comey. If Comey remained quiet until after the election, he would be accused of colluding with the Clinton campaign and its allies in the Department of Justice (sic).

But in going public, he stands accused by Democrats of “intervening in an election,” i.e. raising doubts about Hillary’s judgement and veracity days before Americans go to the polls.

Another narrative has Comey’s hand forced by the threat of disgusted FBI agents leaking information that would show the FBI caved into political pressure from the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign to keep relevant material out of the public eye until after the election.

I submit another much more powerful dynamic is in play: the upper ranks of the Deep State now view Hillary as an unacceptable liability. The word came down to Comey to act whether he wanted to or not, i.e. take one for the good of the nation/Deep State/Imperial Project.

As a refresher: the Deep State is the unelected government (also called the invisible or shadow government) that is not as monolithic as generally assumed.

The neo-conservative globalists who want Hillary to continue pushing their agenda are the more visible camp, but another less visible but highly motivated camp realizes Hillary and her neo-con agenda would severely damage the nation’s security and its global influence. It is this camp that is arranging for Hillary to lose.

The consensus view seems to be that the Establishment and the Deep State see Trump as a loose cannon who might upset the neo-con apple cart by refusing to toe the neo-con line.

This view overlooks the reality that significant segments of the Deep State view the neo-con strategy as an irredeemable failure. To these elements of the Deep State, Hillary is a threat precisely because she embraces the failed neo-con strategy and those who cling to it. From this point of view, Hillary as president would be an unmitigated disaster for the Deep State and the nation/Imperial Project it governs.

Whatever else emerges from the emails being leaked or officially released, one conclusion is inescapable: Hillary’s judgement is hopelessly flawed. Combine her lack of judgement with her 24 years of accumulated baggage and her potential to push the neo-con agenda to the point of global disaster, and you get a potent need for the Deep State’s most prescient elements to derail her campaign and clear a path to Trump’s executive team.

Once this path is clear, the management of Trump’s executive team can begin in earnest, a management process aimed at disengaging the nation and its global Empire from neo-con overreach.

If you think this scenario is “impossible,” let’s see how the election plays out before deciding what’s “impossible” and what’s inevitable.

James Howard Kunstler thinks it would be better if Hillary Clinton is elected, for then the right people will be blamed for the inevitable collapse. From Kunstler at kunstler.com:

It’s getting hard to give a shit about this election, though you might still care about this country. The damage has been done to the two long-reigning political parties and perhaps that’s a good thing. They deserved to be dragged into the gutter and now they can either go through a severe rehab or be replaced by as-yet-unformed coalitions of reality-based interests.

Trump did a greater disservice all-in-all to the faction he supposedly represented. Their grievances about a grift-maximized political economy were genuine, and Trump managed to make them look like a claque of sinister clowns. This cartoon of a rich kid with no internal boundaries was unable to articulate their legitimate complaints. His behavior during the so-called debates verged on psychotic. If Trump loses, I will essay to guess that his followers’ next step will be some kind of violence. For the moment, pathetic as it is, Trump was their last best hope.

I’m more comfortable about Hillary — though I won’t vote for her — because it will be salutary for the ruling establishment to unravel with her in charge of it. That way, the right people will be blamed for the mismanagement of our national affairs. This gang of elites needs to be circulated out of power the hard way, under the burden of their own obvious perfidy, with no one else to point their fingers at. Her election will sharpen awareness of the criminal conduct in our financial practices and the neglect of regulation that marked the eight years of Obama’s appointees at the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The “tell” in these late stages of the campaign has been the demonization of Russia — a way more idiotic exercise than the McCarthyite Cold War hysteria of the early 1950s, since there is no longer any ideological conflict between us and all the evidence indicates that the current state of bad relations is America’s fault, in particular our sponsorship of the state failure in Ukraine and our avid deployment of NATO forces in war games on Russia’s border. Hillary has had the full force of the foreign affairs establishment behind her in this war-drum-banging effort, yet they have not been able to produce any evidence, for instance, in their claim that Russia is behind the Wikileaks hack of Hillary’s email. They apparently subscribe to the Joseph Goebbels theory of propoganda: if you’re going to lie, make sure it’s a whopper, and then repeat it incessantly.

The media has been on-board with all this. The New York Times especially has acted as the hired amplifier for the establishment lies — such a difference from the same newspaper’s role in the Vietnam War ruckus of yesteryear. Today (Monday) they ran an astounding editorial “explaining” the tactical necessity of Hillary’s dishonesty: “In politics, hypocrisy and doublespeak are tools,” The Times editorial board wrote. Oh, well, that’s reassuring. Welcome to the George Orwell Theme Park of Democracy.

28 Things Donald Trump Promises to do as President, by Donald Trump

At least Donald Trump has an agenda for which he will be held accountable if he’s elected president. From Charlie Spiering at breitbart.com:

Donald Trump is laying out delivered a long list of things he would do if elected president.
During an appearance in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, he vows to act on them in the first 100 days in office.

“On November Eighth, Americans will be voting for this 100-day plan to restore prosperity to our country, secure our communities, and honesty to our government,” Trump says. “This is my pledge to you and if we follow these steps we will once more have a government of, by and for the people and importantly we will make America great again. Believe me.”

Here is the list of the “Contract with the American Voter” policies detailed by Trump:

1. Propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress
2. Institute a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health)
3. Require for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated.
4. Institute a five year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service
5. Create a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.
6. Institute a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections.
7. Announce intention to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal under Article 2205.
8. Announce withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
9. Direct Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator.
10. Direct the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trading abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use every tool under American and international law to end those abuses immediately.
11. Lift the restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars’ worth of job-producing American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas and clean coal.
12. Lift the Obama-Clinton roadblocks and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward.
13. Cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America’s water and environmental infrastructure.
14. Cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama.
15. Begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.
16. Cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities.
17. Begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back.
18. Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.
19. Work with Congress on a Middle Class Tax Relief And Simplification Act.An economic plan designed to grow the economy 4% per year and create at least 25 million new jobs through massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. The largest tax reductions are for the middle class. A middle-class family with 2 children will get a 35% tax cut. The current number of brackets will be reduced from 7 to 3, and tax forms will likewise be greatly simplified. The business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent, and the trillions of dollars of American corporate money overseas can now be brought back at a 10 percent rate.

One truth the best and the brightest of our founding fathers knew in their bones: government would always be the preeminent threat to individual security, prosperity, liberty, and happiness. Strip away the irrelevant dross and history boiled down to one theme: the individual versus the state. Government, an institution gestated in fear of violence, inevitably uses the violent power that it has either wrested for itself or has been granted against its supposed beneficiaries.

The founders knew that human nature never changes, that those in control of a government would inevitably be corrupted by their power and employ it to their own design and advantage. Their solution was enumerated powers, an overlapping separation of those powers, a myriad of procedural encumbrances, the Bill of Rights, federalism, and limits on the government’s abilities to tax, raise armies, and wage war. The idea was to make it harder for this new government to do what governments had done throughout history. They had to have realized that any effort to constrain a government ultimately depended on the wisdom and virtue of those in power. Wisdom and virtue in perpetually short supply, they also had to have realized that their effort would eventually fail.

And fail it has. Donald Trump is making more waves by charging that the electoral system is “rigged,” and for refusing to pledge that he will not challenge the official results of the election. Our entire government is massively rigged, an agglomeration of scams, testament to terminal philosophical deterioration and default. Its partners in crime have reacted vehemently against even the suggestion that the election could be rigged. Their fear: once discussion is allowed about rigged elections, people may take umbrage at all the other scams and actually do something about them.

The greatest of those scams is robbing whatever productive Peters remain out there to pay the burgeoning number of welfare and warfare state Pauls. With passage of the Sixteenth Amendment in 1913, the scammers acquired the power to extract unlimited wealth from the productive populace that had so long resisted the income taxes. By far the most effective way to commit a crime is to make it the law of the land.

Once you can legally steal someone else’s honestly earned money for the enrichment of yourself or your designated beneficiaries, everything else is a sub-grift. One of which is money itself. In that same unfortunate year of 1913, the US established its central bank, the Federal Reserve. Nixon’s abandonment of the gold window in 1971 marked the last time that the dollar was anything more than a fiat debt unit conjured by the Fed. The Fed’s debt monetization, interest rate suppression, depreciation of the currency, and the resulting inflation tax all have redounded to the benefit of the government. The Fed also has been the agent within government and finance for the interests of the banks it de jure regulates and has de facto cartelized.

Regulation, speaking of sub-grifts, is undoubtedly one of the most lucrative. Once the reformers who bestow a regulatory contraption on the polity move on to the next cause, the regulated quickly turn it to their own advantage. Adapting to costly and cumbersome regulations confers a competitive advantage to entrenched firms with large legal and compliance departments. With a suitable investment in lobbyists and gratuities, those supposedly disinterested bureaucrats acting in the “public interest” will draft obscure codicils of obscure regulations of obscure laws that magically help one firm and magically cripple its competition. Nobody among the 330 million plus members of the public who pay no attention to the Federal Register is any the wiser. A variation of regulatory arbitrage is tax code arbitrage, in which the well-heeled and their political patrons insert presents to themselves in seldom-visited interstices of the IRS’s voluminous diktats.

The government is a racket, pure and simple, and many Americans, and all the sentient ones, know it. In its vastness no one can grasp all the details, but that vastness also means it’s too big to hide. Trillions go in; trillions go out; lobbyists lobby; donations are made; bribes are taken; laws are passed; regulations are promulgated; Washington grows ever more wealthy and powerful; the connected grow ever more arrogant and hypocritical; everyone else falls farther behind. The media obsequiously cheers Washington and its connected and jeers at the left behind.

Every time Donald Trump tells an obvious truth the racketeers go apoplectic. He has expressed a fear that the upcoming election might be rigged. In the third debate he would not state unconditionally that he will accept the result. The fusillade of condemnation plumbs new depths of media inanity. If Trump thinks the election may be rigged, why would he swear to honor the result regardless? If the racketeers are indeed planning to rig the election, Trump’s ability to challenge the result by calling for recounts or filing suit is the only way he has of either keeping the other side honest (or less dishonest) before and during the election, or calling it to account afterwards. Pledging to forego the only leverage he has to prevent or expose election fraud would be unilateral surrender. Trump understands leverage. And he doesn’t surrender.

There is a possibility that he might expose and upend various rackets if he was elected president, versus the absolute certainty that his opponent won’t. He declared all-out war during a scathing Al E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner routine, the day after the debate. With the kind of money and power that’s at stake, does anybody really believe that irredeemably corrupt racketeers are above tampering with or outright fixing an election? Given their lock on government, does anybody really believe they don’t have the ability to do so? Motive and means are two key elements in any crime and America’s presidential elections aren’t exactly unsullied. Many Republicans maintain that vote fraud gave Kennedy Illinois and the election in 1960. Many Democrats maintain that vote fraud gave Bush Florida and the election in 2000

One can measure the validity of Trump’s utterances by the volume of squeals emanating from the pigs he’s stuck. Judging from the deafening din on this one, Trump scored a bullseye. Fair elections can withstand questions and scrutiny, it’s the rigged ones that can’t. If America’s faith in its elections is undermined, as so many hysterically hyperventilating hypocrites claim, it won’t be because of anything Donald Trump says or does, but because the racketeers rig elections and not all the people stay fooled all the time.

Yesterday SLL posted the video of Donald Trump’s speech at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner. It has to be seen to be believed. Uncola at theburningplatform.com has a good analysis with some choice excerpts.

Did you happen to see Donald Trump speak at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner this last Thursday night? Wow. The white-tie gala was held on October 20, 2016 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York and was broadcast on the cable news networks. With Hillary Clinton and the Archbishop of New York, Cardinal Tim Dolan, sitting just a few feet away and the celebrity media and other high society luminaries held captive: Trump spoke and it was like lighting a match in a leaking gas refinery. It was like watching the tsunami hit Japan, Indonesia and Fukushima all at once. It was like Gloria Steinem inviting Andrew Dice Clay to address her “womyn’s only” book club. Or perhaps, more accurately, it was like Rosie O’Donnell in the waiting room of her gynecologist only to see Andy Kauffman walk out donning a white Lab coat, with an enema pump in hand and wearing prophylactic rubber gloves ready to give her the treatment.

The Al Smith dinner is held towards the end of the election season every four years and is considered a light-hearted affair where the presidential candidates make nice with each other for an evening, raise some money for Catholic charities, tell a few self-deprecating jokes and a lob a few mild zingers at their opponent. The New York Times said the event is usually a “ritual of levity and feigned warmth”, but not this time. It did start out that way, however. Trump got up to speak and first threw out a few mild quips like these:

• “Just before taking the dais, Hillary accidentally bumped into me and she very civilly said, ‘Pardon me.’ And I very politely replied, ‘Let me talk to you about that after I get into office.’”

• “The media is even more biased this year than ever before. You want the proof? Michelle Obama gives a speech, and everyone loves it. It’s fantastic. They think she is absolutely fantastic. My wife, Melania, gives the exact same speech and people get on her case.”

Then, in a surprise way, the Donald pulled out the long knives and went straight for the jugular as the crowd started booing. He said:

• “Hillary is so corrupt, she got kicked off the Watergate Commission. How corrupt do you have to be to get kicked off the Watergate Commission? Pretty corrupt. Hillary is, and has been, in politics since the 70s. What’s her pitch? The economy is busted? The government’s corrupt? Washington is failing? “Vote for me. I’ve been working on these problems for 30 years. I can fix it”, she says.

•  ”I wasn’t really sure if Hillary was going to be here tonight, because I guess you didn’t send her invitation by email. Or, maybe, you did and she just found out about it through the wonder of WikiLeaks.

•  We’ve learned so much from WikiLeaks. For example, Hillary believes that it’s vital to deceive the people by having one public policy and a totally different policy in private. For example, here she is tonight, in public, pretending not to hate Catholics.

•  Now some of you haven’t noticed, Hillary isn’t laughing as much as the rest of us. That’s because she knows the jokes. And all of the jokes were given to her in advance of the dinner by Donna Brazile.

•  Which is – everyone knows, of course, Hillary’s belief that it takes a village, which only makes sense after all in places like Haiti, where she’s taken a number of them.

•  “According to her sworn testimony, Hillary has forgotten more things than most of us will ever know,”

The establishment fears that the appreciable numbers of people are rejecting its authority, and they are. From Patrick J. Buchanan at buchanan.org:

Pressed by moderator Chris Wallace as to whether he would accept defeat should Hillary Clinton win the election, Donald Trump replied, “I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense.”

“That’s horrifying,” said Clinton, setting off a chain reaction on the post-debate panels with talking heads falling all over one another in purple-faced anger, outrage and disbelief.

“Disqualifying!” was the cry on Clinton cable.

“Trump Won’t Say If He Will Accept Election Results,” wailed The New York Times. “Trump Won’t Vow to Honor Results,” ran the banner in The Washington Post.

But what do these chattering classes and establishment bulletin boards think the Donald is going to do if he falls short of 270 electoral votes?

Lead a Coxey’s Army on Washington and burn it down as British General Robert Ross did in August 1814, while “Little Jemmy” Madison fled on horseback out the Brookeville Road?

What explains the hysteria of the establishment?

In a word, fear.

The establishment is horrified at the Donald’s defiance because, deep within its soul, it fears that the people for whom Trump speaks no longer accept its political legitimacy or moral authority.

Having fixed the future, the establishment finds half of the country looking upon it with the same sullen contempt that our Founding Fathers came to look upon the overlords Parliament sent to rule them.

Establishment panic is traceable to another fear: Its ideology, its political religion, is seen by growing millions as a golden calf, a 20th-century god that has failed.

Trump is “talking down our democracy,” said a shocked Clinton.

After having expunged Christianity from our public life and public square, our establishment installed “democracy” as the new deity, at whose altars we should all worship. And so our schools began to teach.

Half a millennia ago, missionaries and explorers set sail from Spain, England and France to bring Christianity to the New World.

Today, Clintons, Obamas and Bushes send soldiers and secularist tutors to “establish democracy” among the “lesser breeds without the Law.”

Unfortunately, the natives, once democratized, return to their roots and vote for Hezbollah, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, using democratic processes and procedures to re-establish their true God.

And Allah is no democrat.

By suggesting he might not accept the results of a “rigged election” Trump is committing an unpardonable sin. But this new cult, this devotion to a new holy trinity of diversity, democracy and equality, is of recent vintage and has shallow roots.

For none of the three — diversity, equality, democracy — is to be found in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers or the Pledge of Allegiance. In the pledge, we are a republic.

When Ben Franklin, emerging from the Philadelphia convention, was asked by a woman what kind of government they had created, he answered, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Among many in the silent majority, Clintonian democracy is not an improvement upon the old republic; it is the corruption of it.

Consider: Six months ago, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton bundler, announced that by executive action he would convert 200,000 convicted felons into eligible voters by November.

If that is democracy, many will say, to hell with it.

Electing Hillary Clinton could mean nuclear war, which justifies voting for the one person who can defeat her. From JC Dodge at masondisontactical.wordpress.com:

I was asked the other day who I believed would make the best President. That conversation evolved into “Well who are you voting for?”. Here was my answer. If I was voting for who I thought was the best person for the job, by way of their principles and ability, it would be a vote for Castle from the Constitution Party . I am a member of the Constitution Party, and although there are a number of issues I have with the Founding Fathers, and the some of the hypocrisy of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution (the “Necessary Clause being a big one that was set up for failure. Was it by design? I don’t know.), I still think they have forwarded the most squared away Presidential candidates since I joined it in the late 90’s.

In the past I’ve written that a vote for one candidate over another that was just “Less evil” was something that I loathed, and would only choose to do in a “nuclear” situation. Guess what? We have a “Nuclear” situation. This election is about not allowing a criminal that is devoid of ethics, morality (these are not subjective, we know what is right, and what is wrong, and it is codified in the ten commandments, and common malum in se law), or the ability to lead this country. It is about not allowing that criminal the opportunity to appoint SCOTUS judges that will echo judicial activism and precedents for at least a century . It is about not allowing that criminal not send our military into harms way to enrich the military industrial complex and Wall Street.

It is about never again allowing this criminal to have a say over the lives of our government personnel and leaving them to die out of convenience and to cover up treasonous actions of herself and the President. It is about not allowing that criminal to allow an influx of legal and illegal immigration into this country that will destroy any vestige of what we still hold onto concerning what America is and has stood for. It is about not allowing that criminal to purposely allow an element into this country that will terrorize the populace into submitting to their archaic and sadistic ideological edicts.

I do not like Trump. I think his personal life (which is none of my business, but we all know about it now, don’t we?) is an example of what is carnally wrong with our society. I am no saint, but if you think the conversation he had with Billy Bush is how “real men” talk, and that’s your litmus test definition of a “real man”, then I guess you also agree that carrying a gun “makes you a real man” too, huh? It is harder, and more definitive of being a “real man” to not talk like that in the face of those that you want to get along with, and be liked by.
