UK to issue ‘vaccine passports’ to people in the PLACEBO group, by Simon Black

This would be like issuing a passport to someone who once flew over the nation from which he’s seeking the passport, but otherwise has had no contact with it. From Simon Black at sovereignman.com:

Are you ready for this week’s absurdity? Here’s our Friday roll-up of the most ridiculous stories from around the world that are threats to your liberty, risks to your prosperity… and on occasion, inspiring poetic justice.

UK to issue vaccine passports to people in the PLACEBO group

Britain’s “vaccine minister” (yes I’m serious) said that they would consider EVERYONE who participated in COVID-19 vaccine trials as being fully vaccinated.

And in his own words, that specifically includes people who received the PLACEBO.

Yes, that’s right. Even if you literally did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine, they will still treat you as if you had received the vaccine, and issue you a ‘vaccine passport’, simply because you participated in the clinical trial.

This really proves the idiocy of these passports. It’s not about whether or not you have natural antibodies from a prior infection.

And now it doesn’t even matter whether or not you received the actual vaccine.

The only thing that matters is whether you have subordinated yourself to their authority and received an injection— regardless of what was in it.

Australian Health Official: Don’t Talk to Neighbors!

Despite extremely strict lockdowns, and even closing the border to its own citizens, Australia still can’t seem to contain Covid-19.

Amid another outbreak, the Chief Health Officer of New South Wales, Australia’s most populous state, said that shunning your neighbors is the next step.

“Whilst it’s human nature to engage in conversation with others — to be friendly — unfortunately this is not the time to do that.

“So even if you run into your next-door neighbor in the shopping center … don’t start up a conversation. Now is the time for minimizing your interactions with others.

Et Tu, NASA? Wokeness goes to space. Oh, and cheese is racist. by Simon Black

Drug overdose deaths surged during lockdowns

The rate of US drug overdose deaths surged during the pandemic lockdowns, accounting for up to nearly 20,000 additional deaths.

The CDC measures the number of US drug overdose deaths over the previous year. In September of 2019, 68,757 people had died of a drug overdose in the previous year.

By September 2020, the number of deaths in the previous year rose to 87,203.

The biggest leap in deaths (+3,643) occurred between April and May 2020— just after lockdowns began in most of the US.

The CDC also notes that these numbers may be “Underreported due to incomplete data.” In other words, it’s likely that thousands more drug overdose deaths were ‘erroneously’ counted as COVID-19 deaths…

NASA shifts goal from space exploration to space diversity

NASA has been a driving force of scientific innovation and advancement ever since its creation in the 1950s.

After more than six decades of space exploration, you’d think NASA would be an organization free of petty politics and idiotic logic.

US overdose deaths on track to hit an all-time high amid the 2020 pandemic: Drug fatalities have surged by at least 19% in Connecticut, 28% in Colorado and 30% in Kentucky, report finds, by the Associated Press and Nattalie Rahhal

The not acknowledged costs of the coronavirus response. From the Associated Press and Nattalie Rahhal at dailymail.co.uk:

  • An Associated Press analysis of several states’ overdose data showed a rise in drug fatalities from January to July this year compared to last
  • CDC’s preliminary data on drug overdoses suggests 2020 may be on track to be the deadliest year for drug overdoses since 2015 – if not on record
  • Rises in overdoses tended to grow steeper after lockdowns according to the AP report
  • If winter triggers a surge in coronavirus cases and, in turn, lockdowns, the US could be set to see even more drug overdoses over the coming months

Drug overdose deaths in the U.S. are on track to set a grim record in 2020 – and the worst may be yet to come, data suggests.

There are still over two months to go in the year, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) won’t have enough data to calculate the full toll of 2020 drug deaths until 2021.

But an Associated Press report on state overdose death records found worrying rises in these deaths since January – and with winter and, potentially lockdowns, on the way, rates could be set to climb more steeply.
