American Gothic Horror

“Joe Biden is a dead man walking.” From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

That something wicked we spoke of coming our way…?  Well, it came. Now we know why Nancy Pelosi has been running around in a fright mask with her hair on fire, and it’s not just a ghoulish anticipation of Halloween. Her Democratic Party is in extremis. It is shot through with the cancer of falsehood and the wormholes of crime, acquired through decades of playing fast and loose with the machinery of government. Nancy has been informed and she remains stuck in the rage stage of the grief cycle. Somebody sent her a copy of that hard-drive. The thing she feared would not end well is actually turning out worse than she thought.

I have a theory about Joe Biden: He didn’t want to run for president. Not one eensy-weensy bit. He wanted a nice, quiet retirement with his fat government pension plus sundry millions that had somehow found its way into his bank account over the years. He had a fabulous $16-million gentleman’s estate to gambol upon with his beloved grandchildren. The developing brain-fog was actually a comfort, allowing him to forget the rigors of public service and all the tedious gathering of… honoraria, shall we say. But then they came for him…!

The Party called. Rather specifically, his old Kemosabe, Barack Obama, called him in for that ominous sit-down and gave him the bad news: Joe, you’ve gotta run. Bernie, Liz, and the rest of those bozos, they won’t keep a lid on it. You’re in this thing as deep as we are and it’s getting a little hairy. You’ve got to do it for the sake of the party, and all our… friends….

And so, Joe Biden was shanghaied into running for president. He was given a bodyguard of news media, including those crucial new additions, the social media, Twitter and Facebook, where, increasingly, information was hubbed for transmission among the voters. They would protect him infallibly from any damaging narratives. In fact, they would generate powerful counter-narratives to keep their adversaries off-balance. If Joe could just roll with it until November 3rd, they could lay all their… problems… to rest, bury all that annoying insinuendo about the hobgoblin Deep State (ha!), and finally breathe easy.

FBI = Disinformation, by Raúl Ilargi Meijer

The FBI got right on the Hunter Biden hard drive. Not to examine the drive and see if crimes had been committed, but to drum up yet another bogus Russia narrative. From Raúl Ilargi Meijer at theautomaticearth.com:

USA Today Headline: “A Tabloid Got A Trove Of Data On Hunter Biden From Rudy Giuliani. Now, The FBI Is Probing A Possible Disinformation Campaign

(The FBI is examining whether the material supplied to the New York Post by Rudy Giuliani is part of a disinformation campaign by Russia.)”

Seeing that makes me think: with Comey, Strzok, Lisa Page, McCabe et al gone, who initiates and approves such “examinations”? The aforementioned were all involved in setting up the Special Counsel led by former FBI chief Robert Mueller, and that was the most embarrassing episode in the Bureau’s history. Which is saying something given J. Edgar’s penchant for dressing up in women’s clothing.

The Mueller probe was all predicated on vague and unproven Russian “disinformation”, and it fittingly ended with it too. With absolutely nothing coming out of the probe, that was based on the Steele Dossier which the protagonists knew was false even before the probe started, Mueller and his right-hand Andrew Weismann in the end had nothing left but “13 Russians” and Julian Assange to “justify” their $30 million, 2 year “effort”.

You Should Absolutely NOT Read The Disgusting, Totally False Story About Joe Biden’s Son That We’ve Linked To In This Article

From the Babylon Bee:

There’s a disgusting, absolutely 100% false story about Joe Biden’s son going around. It’s so bad that it has been condemned by the wise, moral, upstanding people who run Twitter and Facebook. Even mentioning the story can get you banned from these platforms. That’s how bad and false the story is.

It claims that Biden’s son did a lot of really bad stuff, allegedly, stuff that he CERTAINLY did not do. It says that there was clear alleged corruption in the Obama-Biden administration, with Biden allegedly pulling strings for his allegedly wayward son. The story also had a bunch of obviously doctored photos of the former vice president’s alleged son doing some insane stuff, allegedly.

All of this stuff is 100% false, and you should not even give it the time of day. You should not read it at all.

Here is the story, that again, to be clear, you absolutely should not read:

Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad

Since you did not click on that article, you were not horrified by all the alleged revelations about H. Biden. So your life is much better for not reading the completely false story. We are glad you did not read it and share it with others. Because you are a good, upstanding citizen and would not share false smears about someone. Good job!

Joe Biden’s Boosters Wrote His Prodigal Son’s Entire Resume, by Paul Sperry

Perhaps Hunter Biden is a drug addict because he’s never done anything on his own, without a helping hand from his daddy. From Paul Sperry at realclearinvestigations.com:

Hunter Biden profited from his father’s political connections long before he struck questionable deals in countries where Joe Biden was undertaking diplomatic missions as vice president. In fact, virtually all the jobs listed on his resume going back to his first position out of college, which paid a six-figure salary, came courtesy of the former six-term senator’s donors, lobbyists and allies, a RealClearInvestigations examination has found.

Hunter Biden: Through a lawyer, he maintained he and his father, top photo, dutifully avoided “conflicts of interest.”

One document reviewed by RCI reveals that a Biden associate admitted “finding employment” for Hunter Biden specifically as a special favor to his father, then a Senate leader running for president. He secured a $1.2 million gig on Wall Street for his young son, even though it was understood he had no experience in high finance. Many of his generous patrons, in turn, ended up with legislation and policies favorable to their businesses or investments, an RCI review of lobbying records and legislative actions taken by the elder Biden confirms.

That the 50-year-old Hunter has been trading on his Democratic father’s political influence his entire adult life raises legal questions about possible influence-peddling, government watchdogs and former federal investigators say. In addition, the more than two-decades-long pattern of nepotism casts fresh doubt on Joe Biden’s recent statements that he “never discussed” business with his son, and that his activities posed “no conflicts of interest.”

Before the Bidens ‘Did’ Ukraine, There Was Iraq – and Serbia, by James George Jatras

Many in government have profited from their own regime change efforts. From James George Jatras at strategic-culture.org:

The United States approaches the November 2020 election with growing apprehension, even dread.

Among the possibilities:

For those who have followed events outside the United States during the past few decades, much of this sounds familiar. We’ve seen it before – inflicted on other countries.

Now It’s Coming Home to the U.S.

As explained by Revolver News, what happens in America next to a great extent may be a form of blowback from a specific event: the U.S.-supported 2014 regime change operation in Ukraine:

‘A “Color Revolution” in this context refers to a specific type of coordinated attack that the United States government has been known to deploy against foreign regimes, particularly in Eastern Europe deemed to be “authoritarian” and hostile to American interests. Rather than using a direct military intervention to effect regime change as in Iraq, Color Revolutions attack a foreign regime by contesting its electoral legitimacy, organizing mass protests and acts of civil disobedience, and leveraging media contacts to ensure favorable coverage to their agenda in the Western press.

The Clocks Struck Thirteen, by James Howard Kunstler

It’s hard to quash a story without denying it’s veracity, but that’s what the Democrats and media are trying to do with the New York Post’s Hunter Biden bombshells. From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

Was it just me, or did you also notice that NBC’s Savannah Guthrie decided to play Special Prosecutor in Thursday night’s “town hall” gotcha-fest with Mr. Trump, whom they had perched on some Modernista stool-of-punishment? The hectoring interrogation started from the get-go — the “townies” distributed around the set apparently just props — while Ms. Guthrie barked over the President with various renderings of the old shyster’s retort, but do you still beat your wife?

Over on ABC, Ol’ White Joe Biden lounged comfortably in low light and cushy seating with his therapist, George Stephanopoulos, free associating on the wonders and marvels he will bring about in the Kingdom Come of his presidency. Strangely, the subject of his family’s lucrative business dealings in Ukraine, China, and Russia a few years back never came up in the confab, a therapeutic omission that seemed to amount to malpractice.

I speak of the evidence found on a laptop computer apparently belonging to R. Hunter Biden, Ol’ White Joe’s crackhead son, outlining the many services Biden & Co. rendered to bigwigs in foreign lands for millions of dollars when Pop, “the big guy,” was vice-president. The Democrats’ new Ministry of Truth played a DEFCON-3 defense on these matters when it all broke in The New York Post at midweek. Twitter labeled it “unsafe” and banned all transmission of the news. Facebook’s Communications Director Andy Stone, a former Democratic Party employee (House Majority Political Action Committee Director; Press Secretary to Sen. Barbara Boxer), likewise squashed any links to the story on FB’s social network.

Emails reveal how Hunter Biden tried to cash in big on behalf of family with Chinese firm, by Emma-Jo Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge

Here’s the second bombshell report from the New York Post about the Bidens. From Emma-Joe Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge at nypost.com:

Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family,” emails obtained by The Post show.

One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.

Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.

His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.”

In addition, the email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80 percent of the “equity,” or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” apparently referring to Biden.

Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad, by Emma-Jo Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge

In case you tried and were blocked by Twitter or Facebook from pulling up the blockbuster story from the New York Post on Hunter Biden, here it is. From Emma-Jo Morris and Gabrielle Fonrouge at nypost.com:

Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.

The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer.

Latest Cache Of Emails Detail How Hunter Biden Earned Millions In China “For Introductions”, by Tyler Durden

None dare call it corruption. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

Update (1000ET): Donald Trump Jr. has just raised an interesting question in a tweet: Is Twitter censoring the Hunter Biden stories from the NY Post at the behest of the Communist Party of China?

“There needs to be an immediate government investigation into @twitter/@jack. Not just because of their blatant election interference to protect Biden, but to find out if they’re censoring these NY Post stories at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party. Put Jack under oath!!!” Don Jr. tweeted.

We imagine this tweet will be suppressed momentarily, if it hasn’t been already.

Update (1000ET): While Twitter suppresses this latest Hunter Biden expose, it’s trending topics section is allowing #EricTrumpsUkraineScandal in one of the top spots. The story is essentially a collection of previously reported comments that even the NYT has now acknowledged isn’t accurate.

The 10 top political topics were overwhelmingly ‘anti-Trump’.

Update (0935ET): Despite last night’s “apology” from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Twitter and Facebook are already censoring Thursday’s latest Hunter Biden exposé from the NY Post.

Congress is demanding an explanation, yet Twitter and Facebook are moving ahead with their outright censorship.

Rudy Giuliani hinted last night that there would be more emails from the trove discovered by a Delaware computer repair shop owner (who has shared his story on the record with Fox News). And at 0500ET, the NYPost published another lengthy exposé – at least the second front-page piece in what is shaping up to be a fascinating series – citing never-before-seen emails between Hunter Biden and various individuals connected to a major Chinese energy firm that failed earlier this year after its chairman – a party insider with deep ties to China’s military – was “disappeared” by China’s state security apparatus.

Twitter CEO Dorsey Responds To Biden Block-Gate, by Tyler Durden

The mainstream and social media have had a busy day trying to suppress the burgeoning Bidens-Burisma scandal. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

Update (2000ET): It has been a long day of Twitter and Facebook trying to censor a shockig New York Post story showing emails that Joe contradict Biden’s claims that he never discussed business with his son. And while one of Facebook’s top executives announced FB’s pledge to suppress the story earlier, after a long day that ended with several GOP lawmakers getting officially ‘involved’, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has offered a comment.

Rep Jim Jordan issued his own letter to Facebook demanding an explanation for why it decided to censor the Hunter Biden story.

Finally, Twitter offered an “apology” and went on to provide “much needed clarity” about its decision. The company then laid out a step by step explanation of how the story violated its terms of service. Notably, many of the examples it offered are routinely exhibited in news stories of all kinds.

The main offense that it’s leaning on: publishing personal photos without the explicit permission of the subject. News media have long respected the privacy of private individuals, but when it comes to public figures, all bets are off. At least that’s what many reporters are taught in journalism school.

Did President Trump give NBC News permission to publish that recording of him talking to Billy Bush?
