Is the Food Crisis Over or Just Getting Started? By Chris MacIntosh

As long as Marxists are in control, the food crisis is just getting started. From Chris MacIntosh at internationalman.com:

Food Crisis Just Getting Started

Are you hungry? Good, according to the central planners.

The folks over at the UN stopped destroying the world for a brief few minutes to publish a piece (snapshot below) justifying their behavior and explaining the “benefits” of the famine they’ve engineered.

Not making this up.

The article remained on the UN website for a day or so before being deleted after it went viral on social media, with people horrified at the truly unbelievable evil. The good thing about this is that as they continue with their predictive programming and NLP (seriously, look into both and it promises to blow your mind), more and more people wake from their trance. Once woken, they realize the incredible danger they are all in. And that is a good thing because you can’t fight an enemy until you understand one exists.

The “great reset” requires a populace beholden to the government and nobody else. As the central planners pursue their agenda of getting there, this is bound to be fraught with an awakening and a lot of angst.

How Bad Will the Food Shortage Get? by Dr. Joseph Mercola

If you haven’t already, start stocking up. From Dr. Joseph Mercola at theburningplatform.com:

food shortage 2022

Story at-a-glance

  • It’s becoming increasingly clear that severe food shortages are going to be inevitable, more or less worldwide, and whatever food is available will continue to go up in price
  • The cost of agricultural inputs such as diesel and fertilizers is skyrocketing due to shortages — caused by a combination of intentional and coincidental events — and those costs will be reflected in consumer food prices come fall and next year
  • Mysterious fires, alleged bird flu outbreaks and other inexplicable events are killing off livestock and destroying crucial infrastructure. Since the end of April 2021, at least 96 farms, food processing plants and food distribution centers across the U.S. have been damaged or destroyed
  • The global food price index had risen 58.5% above the 2014-2016 average as of April 2022, due to a convergence of post-pandemic global demand, extreme weather, tightening food stocks, high energy prices, supply chain bottlenecks, export restrictions, taxes and the Russia-Ukraine conflict

How blaming Putin is helping Putin, by Dmitry Orlov

By being blamed for everything, Putin is acquiring an auro of omniscient, omnipotent, invincibility, which makes it easier for his opponents to throw in the towel. From Dmitry Orlov at thesaker.is:

The systemic crisis which we are currently witnessing in the West (and in other parts of the world that are too tightly interconnected with the West to avoid experiencing it as well) is objectively being caused by the West itself. But Westerners, being unaccustomed to acknowledging their mistakes (being all superior, indispensable and infallible-like in their own addled minds), are forced to resort to explaining away their epic failures in virtually every sphere by blaming it all on Putin. That is, they don’t even blame Russia in general, but blame Putin personally; after all, Russia can be good and agreeable at times (as it was under Gorbachev and Yeltsin) but Putin makes it misbehave. That’s why it’s all got to be Putin’s fault.

Here’s what it’s come to: an entire President of the United States (or whoever runs his teleprompter), who, in the course of his election campaign, swore up and down that he will take responsibility for whatever happens under his command, now blames “Putin’s Price Hike” so regularly and monotonously that the phrase has become a meme.

By now the narrative of “it’s all Putin’s fault” has spread to encompass all of the more sensitive problems: inflation, fuel prices, food price hikes and even… shortages of baby formula! It turns out that the shortages aren’t caused by the discovery of dangerous bacteria in the products of a monopoly producer but by shortages of imported sunflower oil from… the Ukraine. That’s according to the Wall Street Journal, no less! The logical steps needed to make it all Putin’s fault are then obvious: the shortages are because of the war and the war is Putin’s fault.

The So-Called ‘War of Attrition’ Is Stacked Up in Russia’s Favour. And Kissinger Knows It, by Martin Jay

The only idea dumber than a U.S.-sponsored war of attrition would be a U.S. nuclear strike. From Martin Jay at strategic-culture.org:

An impending wheat shortage may well drive MENA countries to revolt and direct a new level of anger and revolt towards Brussels from its own members.

Forget anti-tank weapons and bullets. An impending wheat shortage may well drive MENA countries to revolt and direct a new level of anger and revolt towards Brussels from its own members.

As the U.S. approaches critical midterm elections which might dampen Biden’s foreign policy endeavours, the EU too will soon be looking at its own strategy – in particular with regards to Ukraine – in the shorter term, due to a number of factors looking on the horizon which confused and ill-informed journalists aren’t tackling.

Countdown To World Famine, by MN Gordon

Almost anything can happen as a result of the Ukraine-Russia war but one thing that’s almost certain to happen is a shortage of food. From MN Gordon at economicprism.com:

The latest iteration of the Russia-Ukraine war recently surpassed the 90 day marker.  And there’s no foreseeable end in sight.

Henry Kissinger’s counsel at the World Economic Forum this week that Ukraine give up territory to Russia is a nonstarter for Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  This war has only just beginning.

Do you remember what the fighting is for?  If so, you’re one of few.

President Biden – the big guy – is entirely flummoxed.  This week, at the Quad summit in Japan, Biden remarked that the Russian war against Ukraine was “unprovoked.”  Once again, a firm grasp of the facts is not one of Biden’s strong suits.

Vladimir Putin, the invader, has over two decades of provocations he can point to.  According to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British, and French documents posted on December 12, 2017, by the National Security Archive at George Washington University, the U.S. promised to not expand the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO):

“U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous ‘not one inch eastward’ assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991.”

Yet, instead of maintaining the status quo, NATO has greatly expanded eastward towards Russia’s border.  Russia considers the expansion of NATO to be a direct military threat.  The Russian government also doesn’t like the U.S. conducting regular military exercises in countries bordering Russia for over 20 years.

Now, after 90 days of war, anything, including WWIII, can happen…

“We Are On The Precipice”, by James Rickards

Food shortages are going to get much worse as we head into a global crisis. From James Rickards at dailyreckoning.com:

I don’t believe many people grasp the enormity of the global food crisis we’ll be facing in the months ahead. But the world could be on the verge of a massive humanitarian crisis. Let’s dive in…

The supply chain collapse preceded the war in Ukraine, but the war has only intensified the problems. You can see it with your own eyes when you walk into a supermarket and find long stretches of empty shelves in stores that used to be chock-full of food and other merchandise.

Even goods that are available such as gasoline are being sold at much higher prices. Prices for gasoline (and diesel, which is critical for goods transportation) have more than doubled in the past nine months. All of this is clear. The question is will it get worse from here?

Unfortunately, the answer is yes.

Bob Unanue is the CEO of Goya Foods, which is one of the largest food distributors in the world. Few people are better positioned to assess the global food situation than Unanue, who deals with raw food deliveries on the one hand and retail customers on the other.

Food Plants on Fire, Dr. Joseph Mercola

They’re trying to starve us to death. From Dr. Joseph Mercola at lewrockwell.com:

Story at-a-glance

  • In 2019, there were only two reported fires at U.S. food processing plants
  • From January 2021 to April 21, 2022, at least 20 such fires were reported — a sizable jump — and they seem to be accelerating in recent weeks
  • People are beginning to take notice of these seemingly random fires and accidents that are occurring with increasing frequency at food processing plants across the U.S.
  • Meanwhile, leaders around the world have warned that, due to the war in Ukraine — which is considered the world’s bread basket — food shortages are coming, while disruptions to shipping and increased fertilizer prices are also driving up food costs

Food Shortages In Six Months – The Globalists Are Telling Us What Happens Next, by Brandon Smith

The globalists always prep everyone for what’s coming. From Brandon Smith at alt-market.us:

In mid 2007 the Bank for International Settlements (The central bank of central banks) released a statement predicting an impending “Great Depression” caused by a credit market implosion. That same year the International Monetary Fund also published warnings of “subprime woes” leading to wider economic strife. I started writing alternative economic analysis only a year earlier in 2006 and I immediately thought it was strange that these massive globalist institutions with far reaching influence on the financial world were suddenly starting to sound a lot like those of us in the liberty movement.

This was 16 years ago, so many people reading this might not even remember, but in 2007 the alternative media had already been warning about an impending deflationary crash in US markets and housing for some time. And, not surprisingly, the mainstream media was always there to deny all of our concerns as “doom mongering” and “conspiracy theory.” Less than a year later the first companies awash in derivatives began to announce they were on the verge of bankruptcy and everything tanked.

Food Production Is Going To Be Substantially Lower Than Anticipated All Over The Globe In 2022, by Michael Snyder

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. From Michael Snyder at dcclothesline.com:

I don’t think that people realize how severe this crisis will eventually become.  Never before in modern history have we seen global food production being hit by so many major problems all at once.  It truly is a “perfect storm”, and hundreds of millions of people are going to deeply suffer as a result.  I would very much encourage you to share this article with as many people as you can, because everyone needs this information.  As I discussed yesterday, things may be somewhat bad right now, but conditions will eventually get much worse as the months roll along.

I am going to share a lot of statistics in this article, and each number is important.

But ultimately it is the collective impact of all of these factors together that is really going to hammer us.

Why Food Prices Are Expected to Skyrocket, by Dr. Joseph Mercola

Famine looms in many parts of the world and the situation will get worse. From Dr. Joseph Mercola at theburningplatform.com:

Story at-a-glance

  • Food shortages and skyrocketing food prices now appear inevitable. The global food price index hit its highest recorded level in March 2022, rising 12.6% in a single month. On average, food prices were one-third higher than in March 2021. In the U.S., food prices rose 9% in 2021, and are predicted to rise another 4.5% to 5% in the next 12 months
  • Inflation was already ramping up well before Russia went into Ukraine, thanks to the uncontrolled printing of fiat currencies that occurred in response to the COVID pandemic. Governments’ COVID responses have also wreaked havoc with global supply chains, causing disruptions that continue to this day
  • Ukraine has ceased exports of wheat, oats, millet, buckwheat and cattle, and Russia has banned exports of fertilizer
