Election 2020: No Matter Who Wins, Deep State Inc. Stays On Top, from Duane Norman

Duane Norman, one of the better writers on the web, has been on a hiatus. Welcome back Duane. From Norman at fmshooter.com:

I haven’t been able to write for awhile, but I’m thankful to have Jon Hall picking up the slack around here.  Coronavirus life has kept me busy (in a good way, I’m blessed and fortunate to say).  With the election coming up, I wanted to get some thoughts into an article that I’m sure very few will read in its entirety, but I believe will be informative, helpful and possibly entertaining for the few that do.  Given that the country has been prepping for election unrest to a significant extent, the contrarian in me expects many to be underwhelmed by the result of election season.  Any actual unrest will be handled quite well by those who have prepared to any extent, and handled quite poorly by those who have not.  No matter what happens, I wish you all the best of luck, and god speed.

While President Trump has changed federal-level politics in this country forever, the globalist cabal has proven that they’ve been able to carry on without a hiccup no matter who sits in the Oval Office.  The entrenched government bureaucrats – including those in the judiciary and law enforcement – have been enabled and abetted by billionaire elites and their media mouthpieces without fail over Trump’s entire first term. Even if we are to believe that Epstein didn’t really kill himself, nearly everyone in America thinks he escaped justice.  In spite of the fact that every one of the above pictured people plotted and schemed to undermine Trump both during and before his presidency, not one of them has faced any criminal charges as a result of their conduct.

It is folly to expect this to change, no matter who wins the 2020 election.

Even though no government officials have been held to account for their misconduct, Trump has changed politics in the US forever.  The rise of internet-based alternative media and Trump’s magnification of these tools has led an ever-growing percentage of the population to become fed up with a complete lack of justice in America.  The term “deep state” – once seen as taboo – is now so commonplace, Trump himself routinely uses it, and the mainstream media outlets that are the deep state’s mouthpiece will even come to its defense.  This is ironic, considering that mainstream media itself is living on borrowed time, and Trump’s ability to give them a boogeyman as narrative is perhaps the only lifeline they still have left.

Trump Rallies or Struggle Sessions – A Lesson for Libertarians, by Thomas Luongo

Trump doesn’t always live up to his symbolic billing, but at least he has a symbolic billing, and all the Democrats stand for is naked power and coercion. From Thomas Luongo at thomasluongo.me:

A pair of cannons at sunset on the Antietam National Battlefield near Sharpsburg, Maryland

This election season hasn’t been about Trump versus Biden. It hasn’t been about capitalism versus socialism.

It’s not even about liberty versus authority.

As I said in my last article this election is about a simple choice, facing a chaotic future with courage or fear.

Regardless of who wins, my many libertarian friends and colleagues are correct that the ship of state cannot and will not be turned at this point in any meaningful way.

There are forces at work which will unleash hell on earth if Trump wins, which he should.

If the past four years have taught us anything it should have taught us that.

What’s on the ballot tomorrow is something much larger, however, because hundreds of millions of people in the U.S. and Europe are facing an existential choice on both sides of the power dynamic.

The People sense the closing off of escape routes by an oligarch class that rightly sees their institutional power waning in the face of rapid decentralization of information.

Because of this, an inevitable power struggle has ensued. This election has taken on a quality that transcends the practical nature of elections — who will run the consensual hallucination that is the State.

The Davos Crowd is in full control at the moment in Europe and attempting The Black Revolution here in the U.S. They will enact as much of their Great Reset as they can and play every card in their hand and dirty trick in their bag to achieve it.

This election is a nexus, a singularity, that has become an opportunity for an inflection point in history, one where ideas that were forced into the fringe of the political discourse during the last cycle have the opportunity for a real audience in the next one.

The Awful Reckoning, by James Howard Kunstler

If Joe Biden gets elected and then indicted, what happens? From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

Historians of the future, pan-frying sowbugs over their campfires, will recollect in wonder and nausea the election of 2020 and the attempted controlled demolition of the USA by the Woke Rebellion and its incongruous avatar, Joe Biden, the Holy Ghost of Grift and Gaslight. All the forces of empire were arrayed in his support, as behind some sacred effigy of an obscure saint in a church processional, and yet all the voting public saw was a pitiful figure ranting at an audience of cars, an old dog barking pointlessly in a parking lot in the gathering darkness.

And then there was Trump… one word, Trump… no honorifics, as the Woke Legions spoke of the hated POTUS… Trump, who violated all their norms, threatened their perqs, and disputed their laughable identitarian shibboleths of racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia… the Golden Golem of Greatness summoning the deplorably un-Woke in their ghastly red hats from the hills and hollows by the thousands to hear him speak of “rounding the corner” and watch him do that charming dance thing to the disco tunes of his boomer youth, and the sheer high spirits of it all worked to dispel the Woke curse cast upon him by the legions of angry suburban wiccans, till we arrived at the electoral reckoning of November 3 — and then the real contest began.

What’s At Stake On Tuesday. By David Krayden

The mainstream media will never believe it, but a lot of non-deluded, intelligent people are going to vote for Trump because they like his positions on the issues, and they don’t like Joe Biden’s. From David Krayden at humanevents.com:

President Trump deserves to win on November 3rd.

When the former Vice President emerges from his basement for a news conference or one of those drive-in campaign events (the kind that attracts a handful of participants, unsure whether this is a campaign event or a movie premier), there are never any questions forwarded by the fourth estate that even approach the levels of difficulty one would expect in the context of a presidential race. Much of the media is not just in the bag for Biden—it might as well be writing his speeches.

A study released this week from MRC Newsbusters found, unsurprisingly, that while Trump received 92% negative coverage from ABC, CBS, and NBC nightly newscasts during the period of July 29th through October 20nd, 2020, Biden enjoyed 66% positive reporting. “This time around, it’s obvious that the networks are pouring their energy into confronting and criticizing the President, not equally covering both campaigns. During the twelve weeks we examined, Trump received 839 minutes of coverage, compared to just 269 minutes of airtime for Biden, a three-to-one disparity,” the report reads.

Why The Polls Are Wrong, by Briggs

If the polls screw up this election, it should convince everyone once and for all that they are just part of the massive mainstream propaganda effort. From Briggs at briggs.com:

This was originally written for a normie audience. See updates below.

Polls Predict Biden

On the evening of October 29th, The Economist updated their poll-based election forecast model. It gave a 96% chance for Biden to take the electoral college, and it said it was all but certain, greater than a 99% chance, he will win the popular vote.

These are incredible numbers. Yet not unusual.

For instance, on that same night, Nate Silver’s 538 site had a poll average of 52% for Biden and 43.2% for Trump (the other 4.8% going to other candidates and uncertainty). Every poll used in that average had Biden ahead. Two had Biden up 12 points over Trump.

Silver wrote that Trump’s chance of winning were “a little worse than the chances of rolling a 1 on a six-sided die and a little better than the chances that it’s raining in downtown Los Angeles,” which he cited as 1 in 10.

There are others beside these two firms, but almost all favor Biden by a large margin.

Silver rightly said, “At this point, President Trump needs a big polling error in his favor if he’s going to win.”

This is not impossible. Most polls in 2016 blew it. Including Silver’s. His last poll average gave 45.7% to Clinton and 41.8% to Trump (4.8% went to the forgotten Libertarian candidate). Silver’s poll-based model gave a 71.4% chance of Hillary winning.

Many modelers were bolder than this—and their record was dismal. There have been several lachrymose postmortems since then searching for the cause of error. There are even fresh efforts at analyzing the 2016 polls, given their eerie similarity to today’s. All these analyses say what The Atlantic says: “Don’t sweat the polls.”

Only Donald Trump Can Save Us From The Great Reset, by James Delingpole

Why the election is important. From James Delingpole at breitbart.com:

Build Back Better. This is the slogan of the New World Order – aka the Great Reset.

You hear it often these days intoned — in the manner of dutiful Stepford Wives — by everyone from UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Prince of Wales to Canadian blackface artiste Justin Trudeau and, inevitably, Joe Biden who has adopted it as his campaign slogan.

About the only leader you won’t hear using it is Donald Trump because he recognises its true significance. Build Back Better is the code phrase for one of the most terrifying and dangerous, globally co-ordinated assaults on liberty and prosperity in the history of mankind. If the plan succeeds, the world you inhabit will be unrecognisable, your children will have no prospects and your life will barely be worth living. Build Back Better means totalitarian rule by a global, technocratic elite – as constrictive and immiserating as life under fascism or communism. This hideous New World Order is the Great Reset.

It sounds like a conspiracy theory but the people behind it are perfectly open about it. Why else would they dedicate a special issue of Time magazine to outlining their masterplan?

One essay – titled ‘It’s 2023. Here’s How We Fixed the Global Economy’ – imagines a world where things all started getting better with the ousting of Donald Trump.

The U.S. began to change its approach after Nov. 3, 2020, when Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the presidential election and the Democrats held the majority in both houses of Congress.

So how do Biden and his Great Reset pals fix the global economy in this apparently desirable future?

The Great Reset for Dummies, by Tessa Lena

This is the best article I’ve seen about the Great Reset, the plan to remake the world along totalitarian lines, for which the coronavirus response has been the precursor. From Tessa Lena at tessa.substack.com:

The peasants are getting fat, and they are breeding!
Oh no.

What is “the Great Reset”?

The Great Reset is a massively funded, desperately ambitious, internationally coordinated project led by some of the biggest multinational corporations and financial players on the planet and carried out by cooperating state bodies and NGOs. Its soul is a combination of early 20th century science fiction, idyllic Soviet posters, the obsessiveness of a deranged accountant with a gambling addiction—and an upgraded, digital version of “Manifest Destiny.”

The mathematical reason for the Great Reset is that thanks to technology, the planet has gotten small, and the infinite expansion economic model is bust—but obviously, the super wealthy want to continue staying super wealthy, and so they need a miracle, another bubble, plus a surgically precise system for managing what they perceive as “their limited resources.” Thus, they desperately want a bubble providing new growth out of thin air—literally—while simultaneously they seek to tighten the peasants’ belts, an effort that starts with “behavioral modification,” a.k.a. resetting the western peasants’ sense of entitlement to high life standards and liberties (see awful “privilege”).

The psychological reason for the Great Reset is the fear of losing control of property, the planet. I suppose, if you own billions and move trillions, your perception of reality gets funky, and everything down below looks like an ant hill that exists for you. Just ants and numbers, your assets.

Countdown To Chaos, by MN Gordon

The American republic died in 1913. From MN Gordon at economicprism.com:

On Wednesday, while the broad stock market was getting shellacked, and companies like Everbridge, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Dynatrace were suffering double digit freefalls, something else was going on.  Gold and silver were also getting shellacked.

But it wasn’t all crash and burn.  First Solar, Rolls-Royce Holdings, and CoreLogic all notched double digit gains.  The dollar, as measured by the dollar index, gold, silver, and most stocks, was also up.  And something else was up too…

Most investors likely didn’t notice that American firearm manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Company managed to eke out a small return.  Why would they?  A return of 0.43 percent is nothing to write home about.

Nonetheless, we contend that Ruger’s modest gain in the face of a massive selloff is something that should get the attention of investors.  It’s something that should also get the attention of non-investors.  Guns are in high demand.  So is ammo.

Naturally, guns and ammo should be in high demand.  They are useful.  Sometimes they are especially useful.  And right now happens to be one of those times.

Without question something wicked is brewing.  Politicians, academics, and the media have been fermenting public divisions for decades.  Now a volatile cocktail of rage threatens to blow its top off sometime on or shortly after election day.  People are gunning up just in case the chaos – something more than things that go bump in the night – arrives at their doorstep.

What to make of it…

“Death to America!”

The weather may have cooled down.  But the populace still burns hot.  Factions and fanatics look for any excuse to destroy public usufructs.  And they don’t have to look far to find one.

For example, this week, following the fatal police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. in West Philadelphia, people went mad.  First they took to the streets.  Then they took to setting dumpsters on fire.  After that, they took to looting Walmart and other stores.

Why Victor Davis Hanson thinks Trump will win, by Oliver Wiseman

Victor Davis Hanson lays out the case for why Trump will win. From Oliver Wiseman at thecritic.co.uk:

The classicist and military historian makes the case for the president – and a second upset

To those who see an intellectual case for Donald Trump as a contradiction in terms, Victor Davis Hanson is an unlikely figure.

A senior fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, Dr Hanson was awarded the National Humanities Medal by George W Bush in 2007. He is the author of more than 20 books on classics, military history and more. When he isn’t writing or teaching, he’s managing his family’s farm. Dr Hanson is also a full-throated and unapologetic supporter of the president. Last year, Dr Hanson published The Case for Trump, a coherent and thoughtful argument for an often incoherent and thoughtless president.

With under a week left in the presidential election, Dr Hanson spoke to me over the telephone from his farm in California’s San Joaquin Valley about whether Trump will win, why he supports the president and how the coronavirus has sharpened America’s political and class divides. Below is a lightly edited transcript of our conversation.

How do you see the race right now? Who will win next week?

I think Trump will win the Electoral College. I’m not sure about the popular vote, but the more our experts and pundits reassert that 2016 cannot happen again, the more it seems like it is happening again. And by that I mean, more specifically, all the polls that were discredited in 2016 — the Politico poll and the Reuters poll, Fox or the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, the mainstream polls in other words — they have Trump losing in the key states just about at the rate that Trump was losing last time. And from what I can tell, they haven’t really altered their methodology. The other polls, the Democracy Institute, the Trafalgar poll, the Zogby poll, the Rasmussen poll, have him very close, if not deadlocked at the national level. And then, in these key swing states, deadlocked or slightly ahead.

And yet, we were told in 2016, that these were not credible polls. They turned out to be almost prescient in their accuracy. So there you have it

Ground Reports #3 – Polling Narratives Collapse, Democrat COVID Strategy Backfires, MAGA Resolve Stronger Than Ever…

SLL is predicting a Trump landslide. In part, the prediction is based on facts on the ground, particularly the Grand Canyon-size enthusiasm deficit between Trump and Biden. Here’s an enthusiastic explanation of the enthusiasm, and of “Cold Anger,” a very real phenomenon, from sundance at theconservativetreehouse.com:

Never doubt nor underestimate the resolve of American patriots… Because when it matters most, no words are needed; each understands the mission at hand. Right now in every state, county, village, hamlet, city and street the MAGA community is independently rallying to the exact same standard. “Meet at the old mill, we ride at midnight“.

This is the third in our 2020 series of CTH ground reports, and with Treepers in every state, your information is actually a great insight into the political landscape.

Individual reports are obviously anecdotal; however, when they are compiled on a larger scale, and overlaid against the social media network we also follow, these ground reports have proven to be pretty darned accurate. Early voting has begun. If you have voted in person feel free to share your experience.

Perhaps no headline best showcases the current state of the media narrative than Politico: “Democrats Sound The Alarm in Miami.”…  Except, it’s not just Miami, Florida; it is also Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and states like Michigan, Wisconsin and even Minnesota.

Yes, the middle-class insurgency is fully engaged, and with us all activated the media polling narratives are collapsing by the hour.

President Trump is surging at precisely the right moment. Momentum is building and you can see all across social media platforms the MAGA movement is pushing back against censorship.

We still see massive boat parades and incredible vehicle parades both replete with flags and banners supporting our President.

Yard signs/banners are now out in force and the MAGA gear is visible everywhere. In the past week the latest viral platform videos are of Trump dancing; Trumpy dance and Tik-Tok duets.

Good stuff.
