The objective of the coronavirus response and the riots.
During the coronavirus hoax and the George Floyd riots, most people kept their comments and criticisms to private conversations and internet postings. They didn’t respond to forced lockdowns or violence in the streets with violence of their own, although many of them have the ability and capacity to do so. Their restraint has been the primary force keeping whatever remains of the peace in this country.
The restraint stems from respect for that peace, their stake in maintaining it, and a fading hope that things will eventually get back to normal. People who run businesses, have jobs, own property, and are engaged in honest production have a vested interest in civil order. Only reluctantly will they overtly oppose unjust and idiotic government measures or rampaging rioters. Keeping their cold rage on ice, the vast majority will be moved to action only when they feel they have no other choice.
That day is coming. Consider the philosophical obscenity of governments renouncing their only justified reasons for existence—protecting individual rights, particularly the foundational rights of security for people and property. The Minneapolis city council voted to disband its police force and other jurisdictions are considering defunding theirs. Minneapolis and Seattle abandoned police stations to mobs. No word yet if criminals are going to swear off crime and embark on productive pursuits, or where they’ll find such pursuits with 30 plus million unemployed. The only certainly is that official appeasement will elicit nothing but what appeasement always elicits—contempt.

The criminals will fill the void as any remaining police retreat from law enforcement that might subject them to personal danger as well as official recrimination and punishment. As slums and ghettoes become “no-go” areas akin to Islamic “no-go” districts in Europe, the criminals and their gangs will thrive while the innocent will suffer, forced to either leave or cower in place. Eventually entire cities will be “no-go.”
The government officials pushing to eliminate or defund police are slitting their own throats. The praetorians of any government—the police and military—are always just as corrupt as the government of which they are a part. However, the de facto first duty of the praetorians is to protect the government itself, and that becomes more paramount as the government becomes more corrupt. Appeasing violence by renouncing one’s defenses against it guarantees more violence and the eventual elimination of the renouncers, i.e. useful idiots.
It’s already happening in once great cities that have been governed by statist stooges for decades. Their governments are crumbling and the cities are dissolving into chaotic hellholes before their eyes, if they’d open them up and look. Many cities are already shunned by anyone seeking freedom and its fruits: individual rights, honest production, voluntary interaction, wealth, security, and peace.
City and state governments and the federal government are flat broke and technically bankrupt. Coronavirus totalitarianism and the George Floyd riots have destroyed businesses, jobs, and property values—the tax base—while at the same time increasing the demand for support payments, social services, and public safety. Governments are presently running deficits and their future medical and pension liabilities are far greater than their means to pay them.
Insolvency will be anti-government revolutionaries’ staunchest ally, not requiring them to lift a finger but merely watch as governments spend and borrow themselves into ruin. This will undoubtedly inflict a great deal of misery on the populace, but governments are not their people. The latter will still have productive assets and skills; the former produce nothing.
The federal government is resorting to the tactic resorted to by bankrupt governments throughout history—debasing its own debt—as if manufacturing ever increasing trillions of new IOUs can actually produce value. A government undermining its own debt is idiocy on par with a government disbanding its police department. Historically, debasement becomes debauchery followed by downfall. A government that can offer the honest and the productive nothing but its own worthless promises has one foot in the grave, potential prey to anyone who can promise something better—restoration of political, financial, and economic stability—by fair means or foul.
The coronavirus response, monetary debasement, and George Floyd riots have clearly demonstrated to the honest and the productive that governments offer them less than nothing. For decades they’ve been told they have to put up with governments’ protection racket. Taxes, coerced redistribution, and funny money would keep the rabble at bay and protect whatever governments left them of their businesses, incomes, and wealth. By and large they put up and shut up.
Now governments can’t or won’t protect themselves and officials are taking the knee in hopes they’ll be spared by the marauding horde. We’ll see how that works out. Many of their constituents who still have spines have gone full rooftop Korean—stocking up on guns and ammo to protect the homes and businesses governments won’t. They’ve seen the futility of governments as protection racket, and of putting up and shutting up.
The marauding horde and its rhetorical and political enablers have told a vast swath of the population that their jobs, businesses, safety, and lives do not matter, except as fodder for the horde. Predictably, the horde is setting up its own protection racket: show us the money…or else.
Politicians will be writing rubber checks to propitiate the ceaseless demands for the unearned from anyone with a gripe and political clout. A figure of $14 trillion, even if it is just funny money, has been bandied about as slavery reparations from people who were never slaveowners to people who were never slaves. That $14 trillion may not make it into law, but a smaller amount might—more money from those who earn it to those who don’t. The honest and the productive always pick up the tab, and the recipients never stay propitiated. Why is anyone surprised at the former’s contempt for the latter or the latter’s contempt for the former? Perhaps we need to have a conversation about that.
Or perhaps before the collapse of the cities spreads to the rest of the country, before cold rage erupts into hot rage, before the financial and economic system completely fails, and before wars erupt and governments are overthrown, we need to have a conversation about divorce. Here’s a proposal that will never be peaceably implemented, but it’s important to understand why it won’t be.
Given the irreconcilable ideological divisions within the U.S., why not split the country into six or seven different countries that reflect those divisions? The East Coast and New England could go their own way, same for the Middle Atlantic, the South, the Midwest, the Southwest, the mountain states, and the far West. Not that there aren’t cultural and political differences within those regions, but there is more homogeneity than within the US as a whole.
For the first ten years allow free immigration between the new countries so everyone has the opportunity to migrate to the country for which they have the most affinity. Split up the nukes and other military assets so each country can deter attack. The countries will work out taxes, trade, and other economic arrangements as they see fit. Those may run the gamut from Marxist collectivism to laissez faire (where SLL would end up).
The animating spirit of this proposal is allowing people to go their own way and find their own place, in short, to live and let live. And that is why it has no chance of being accepted. Other than Laissez-Faire land, none of the countries could allow live and let live. From mixed economy welfare-statism to democratic socialism to Marxist totalitarianism, every political system is built on subjugation and submission, on a principle that boils down to: your life is the state’s.
There are differences in degree, but the essential principle is always the same. The state can take what it wants from you, up to and including your life as it sends you off to a concentration camp, a gas chamber, or a pointless war. Governments all over the world just deprived their citizens of jobs, businesses, free movement, and even the right to breathe fresh air. Coming soon: mandatory vaccines, biometric identification, a health credentialing and credit system modeled on China’s social credit system, and universal contact and location tracing.
Anyone who has watched a baby, a kitten, a puppy, or any other animal being born has witnessed the miracle of new life. For humans, those precious moments open the gates to all the amazing potential of the human mind, spirit, and soul. The possibilities on this extraordinary journey called life are endless—to be met with anticipation and realized with joy.
Such is a healthy human spirit. What is the animating spirit of coercion, power, subjugation, and totalitarianism? No truism was ever truer: misery loves company. Those who privately bear their suffering out of strength of spirit and quiet consideration for the rest of us deserve a salute. Miserable, malignant souls have no strength of spirit or consideration for others. They exercise power for power’s sake, their cancer feeding on submission and domination.
A strong human spirit recoils in instinctive loathing at ritual exactions like wearing a mask or taking a knee. At least 90 percent of the masks worn are ineffective, and 100 percent adversely affect wearers, who are rebreathing their own respiratory waste and affirming mindless group-think.

It’s conjecture, but not unfounded, that masks satisfy a psychic need. People are wearing masks when they are alone in their cars or outdoors, and they may not remove them even after the official all clear, if that ever comes. You don’t hide what you’re proud of, and the face is the window to the soul.
No conjecture is required here; this is abject self-abasement. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and company are concretizing a handover. Their politics draped pursuit of power in professed altruistic concern for the constituencies that provided them power. Now they are kneeling to the new politics, if you can call it that, which dispenses with the hypocritical concern, sees people not as individuals but as members of groups who either aid or hinder the acquisition of power, and are driven by malevolent plans to subjugate and enslave. It’s a race to the bottom. This handover is like the brutal and vicious Mafia ceding the drug business to the even more brutal and vicious Columbians.
Such power always insists, at the point of a gun if necessary, on complete submission in thought, word, and deed. Those scheming for control of CHOP, a city, a state, the United States, or the entire world are overjoyed that millions submit to Covid-19 tyranny and that government officials, corporate executives, celebrities, and other “important” people genuflect to orchestrated violence. Does anyone think all this taking of knees would have happened if there had been peaceful protests but no riots? The lesson our would-be rulers, or more correctly, our would-be dictators, will take from this: fear works on both the masses and the elite.
The translation of “laissez faire” is “let go.” Unfortunately for those of us who want the freedom to live our lives as we see fit, malignant souls don’t let go and won’t allow us to live in freedom, pursuing our own happiness. Even a laissez-faire district the size of CHOP wouldn’t receive the tolerance that collectivist CHOP has so far. The police or troops would clear it out as quickly as they could.
The point of coronavirus totalitarianism and orchestrated riots is surrender, humiliation, and submission, not for the sake of health or justice, but for the sake of surrender, humiliation, and submission.
The choice for each of us couldn’t be clearer: resist or submit.

Striking how similarly most governments have responded to the (so far) three ongoing crises (anthropogenic climate change, COVID, and BLM). Almost as though the same strings are being pulled to control all of the leaders simultaneously.
I read that something like 80% of the US population is submissive to the COVID lockdown. I wonder if the same percentage holds for those in other nations?

I’m resisting as much as possible. I desperately need a haircut, but mask is required so staying shaggy. One grocery store requires a mask so I’m shopping elsewhere. Also I try to speak to others who are maskless. A little encouragement never hurts. Have spoken to two doctors recently, and neither know anyone who has the virus. Go figure.

If there will be any resistance it will be very little and will not get a response from the state to give up what it has attained. The state has almost virtual slavery and obedience of the masses. Although there were some protests against the lockdowns they were not only few in quantity and small in attendance. The protests were directed at asking permission from those who govern to return to ‘normal’ lives. This obsequiousness to the governors acknowledged their right to use violence to control those they govern and demonstrated that even those who claim to be ‘conservative’ acknowledge their positions as slaves begging for permission from their masters.
Almost the entire world has signed on to this slavish mentality and the slaves are ready and willing to ensure that all admit and behave as slaves. Police are stealing property (asset forfeiture), from innocent citizens, America has secret courts and secret prisons and I don’t know of a country that has not followed its model. The only place that might offer some degree of freedom would be a small country or island that has no resources worth stealing and not enough money or propensity on its own to enslave its population to the degree that will happen here very soon.
The protectors (police) do virtually nothing to stop riots, destruction, murder, mayhem and looting in the streets but complain about the dangerous situation when ‘conservative’ protestors showed up in Michigan wearing guns. Who not only didn’t use violence to get their requests they didn’t even threaten to do so. No buildings burned, no property destroyed but they did express anger about not being free while begging their masters for permission. While cities burn police arrest those who walk on a beach alone, take their children to an unused park or beat a man and remove him from a bus for not wearing a mask!
The people of Hitler’s Germany, Stalinist Russia or any other dictatorship never recognized the evil of the state and submitted themselves to it and protected it. Only a few resisted and they were quickly dispatched. I don’t know that it has ever been different. Perhaps Estienne de la Boite was correct, the only way to live free is to live unobserved. If anyone knows of such a place let me know. I will go there with you.

I rarely, if ever, comment but am inclined to do so this time if for no other reason for thanking you for letting us experience and savor your writings.
I have to wear a mask for work and I had to decide to stay or leave. It is a grocery store and I have very young grandchildren. When it all hits the fan I am hopeful that the choice to stay results in getting food for them when it is harder and harder to get. Otherwise, I enter no place that requires. However, even though we assume all mask wearers are submissive, I have learned from my co workers that all are not dummies and understand what is going on and why. So, I can only say, talk to people and while most are sheep there are some real gems out there. Thank you again sir.

Thank you. Many employers are requiring people to wear masks, including my son’s, and it would be foolish to sacrifice one’s livelihood to make an ideological stand against them. You say you have coworkers who understand what’s going on, and these are people who may resist in various ways in the future, or are doing so in various ways now. We don’t know how many people wear masks because they have to and loathe them, but I think it’s substantial. Just being required to wear masks may change some people’s formerly favorable views of government. The “real gems out there” can’t shine if they’re unemployed and scrambling for the necessities.

You aren’t crazy, but I certainly know how it feels to think so.
I had an appointment with a financial adviser at the bank the other day. It turned out that it was not meant to be a face-to-face meeting, since the adviser is not permitted in the building due to the lockdown here in Canada. A young bank employee was checking into the situation for me, and motioned me to his office, asking me to stand in the doorway. Trying to be nonchalant, I said, “I’m afraid I don’t take all this social distancing very seriously.” He looked at me, lowered his voice, pulled down his mask, and said, “Me neither. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I spoke with a physician the other day who told me that our hospital receives considerably more money for treating COVID patients than for others having similar symptoms – they have a strong incentive to mis-diagnose, and very little risk of being caught at it.” I dropped my voice too and said, “Well, I am a conspiracy theorist, and did you know that …” We wound up comparing notes for a while. As I left, I said, “I’m sorry I missed Tara, but I’m certainly glad I met you!” and shook his hand. Walking out of the bank, past the guard enforcing social distancing, I felt considerably less crazy! Replying as you have, to an article that has expressed ideas similar to your own is another good way. I believe the act of physically writing out your ideas and observations, as opposed to just thinking about them, is important. Share with other like-minded, still sane, people and then watch for improvement in your own mind.

On one of my husbands doctor visits we all had to wear masks, of course. You could tell that the doctor was quite uncomfortable wearing his and wanted nothing more than to get rid of it. One could only dream if all those of us who hate it so much would just TAKE THEM OFF. But all that said, I rather use the term…Truther….as what we know are not theories but fact. So it is a pleasure to have met you and while I do not know if any other reply is in my future, and social media is like the Black Plague to me, I wish you well.

I have no expertise at all in psychology, but reading about the subject as a layman, it appears that many people who take this crisis so seriously are suffering from a form of psychosis. I imagine it is well understood by psychologists how this condition may be induced and the effects we are seeing may well be intentional. IF that is true, I think the only appropriate response is to recognise that these individuals are ill and have compassion for them, even (or especially) when they become overbearing. I think it is also important to interact, as much as possible, with those who are not ill, even as subtly as you did with your husband’s doctor.
John, you may be right….I do not know. What I do know is that as far as the Liberal aspect and the mental conditions of anyone who supports Communism is, in my opinion, either brainwashed or indeed mentally ill. There is no talking to them. With that being said, before my eyes were opened I was one of ‘them’. In every way….I look back in disgust at how I was but it took someone who hung in there with me and never gave up to show me the error of my ways. I will not discount the hand of God in it either. It is hard when your eyes are opened to the evil and the intent of them to simply kill us all. With that being said, I am coming to the end of my time here being older and as my time winds down I find myself hoping that my bones lay right next to those who preached and pushed this agenda. Because the bottom line is, they will.

Agree with every point, and I too, for a time, was once “one of them.” But I think it’s really important that instead of feeling disgust for yourself having been there, you feel gratitude for those that enabled you to see your way clear. Self-condemnation is extremely corrosive, while gratitude is extremely healing.
John, I no longer feel the disgust but thankfulness. It was and is an ongoing learning experience. The gratitude outweighs the guilt, which no longer exists. Now it is more amazement at how I could be so dense. But, is what it is….now it is just embarrassing. And again I do not dwell, too many things to keep track of and digest these days to dwell on something I cannot change. That is a waste, I do, praise the Lord for opening my eyes. So John, onward and upward. Watch your back, my friend, and keep your powder dry.

Same with me here in the Midwest stateside. Had my annual 7:00 a.m. physical checkup with out local MD, “Doc Mac,” a wonderful Scot, who has been in family practice here for 50 years. He secretly told me the mask stuff was “rubbish” and would soon be repealed. He despises all the bloody nonsense, but must do it to keep his local hospital privileges.

Robert, our store is smaller and has allot of older people as customers. I try to give them a ‘mental pass’ as they may have ailments that make them scared if they do not wear a mask. But, it amazes me how many older people have pulled me aside to voice their belief that this is all a scam. The point being, while we can assume the vast majority are sheep one never knows. That is pertaining to the Covid but the goings on now with the race issues, that is a whole different ball game. I fear for my children and grand children…..thanks to our past lack of action they will be inheriting a very bad world.

The elemental truth of our indomitable armed and free nature is fustratingly displayed in the defacing vandalism and destruction of all statues and symbolism, revisionist/humanist altering our elimination of our citizen solder Martial history, codes, our 2000 year old culture which has its origins in Christian Greco Roman Athenian history which is The West, ie, we are The Men of The West who they must destroy, because we are naturally and rightfully armed to the teeth.

The last desperate act to destroy bulwark American American’s is the creation of an entirely false astro-turf “color revolution”. In order to set the stage for their most effective instrument they call, Order out of Chaos.
The problem with order out of chaos is it only is effective when you can make all you can, a vast majority, afraid, so afraid they are willing to submit and go along with anything as long as they are provided an escape hatch where they “feelz” safe. Then, all who are not afraid, all who defy, resist, stick out like a sore thumb, and the Karen’s then can isolate and attack those who are not afraid, and defeat piecemeal, because the other element of order out of chaos is to divide and conquer.
The Karen’s are so afraid of anyone who refuses to submit they will move heaven and earth to attack, destroy, silence, unmask what have you, exactly because they fear like nothing else, being free, responsible for their actions, prudent, adults. Seriously. The truth of that abounds. Their existential fear of you and themselves owning guns, because an armed American is a Free American, a responsible self determining, self reliant self determining adult. It’s essential personal Liberty. And a Republic, which is built and predicated upon the natural rights and blessings of liberty, is a civilization of ordered Liberty. The most dangerous thing imaginable to self indentured voluntary slavery to an ideological farce.

First they disarm everyone, outlaw and erase the idea, the right of all Freemen, to be armed and secure in their property, persons, and Liberty. Then under the order of chaos, as excuse to justify passing out against total make believe inalienable disarmament diktat, they pass out rifles to favored useful dupes and cannon fodder. Since you mentioned the topic of ‘No-Go Zones’, it also fits in with the discussion here.
The majority of the cuntservative voting public still haven’t figured
out that their best option for long term survival IS to create culturally
based ‘No-Go Zones’; it works for the moslems, Ahmish, Orthodox
jews and white folks have done for about 20 years with their community
of Orania, in South Africa (and that was started by just 2 families in the beginning!).

It’s working for them, so it CAN work for whites here..and it delivers
a much more direct benefit than just ‘voting’ every 2 or 4 years for a
different ‘master’ (that BECAUSE of the ‘Overton Window’ will mean

IF they want to continue to be elected).
The other option, I’ve listed before but apparently some folks here
and elsewhere don’t think it’s ‘reasonable’..so they’re still holding
out for a ‘solution’ via either ‘race war’ or ‘jesus returning’..or BOTH!!
That solution (via TFM) was and is:
1. Take women’s rights away (NO vote for women)
2. NO empowerment for women
3.End ‘universal suffrage; only net taxpayers and veterans vote!)
4. End ALL welfare, both domestic and international
But nooooooooo… the above steps are ‘too radical’…
Ok.,..then start creating those cultural ‘no-go zones’ like Orania, etc..
Or do folks STILL want to play the ‘voting game’ and fantasize
that they’ll survive a race war for jesus?….
Which solution is more sane and likely to lead to success and survival?

I agree Robert that resistance is our only option. I do have some concern about potential allies. I don’t know if you are aware of the guest post at TBP by Southern Sage, The Enemy Within.
He relates the history of communism in America and a list of grievances against them, which I had to agree with, but then the solution he offers is, “civil war, followed by a hard dictatorship, and accompanied by extremely harsh punishments to root out the Progressive cancer.”
I see civil war as inevitable. I really don’t like the sound of a hard dictatorship, but from what I’m reading most white anti-establishment types don’t seem to have a problem with it, and actually embrace the idea. I refuse to knowingly be part of a movement that ushers in a hard dictatorship. Not being part of it would likely make me one of the recipients of that “harsh punishment”, but I have my convictions.
I’m afraid that laissez-faire is nothing but a fantasy at this point. Would love to hear your thoughts.
I don’t think laissez-faire is a fantasy at all. It’s will be the culmination of humanity’s long quest for freedom, but we’ve already come a long way. We know freedom works, accounting for almost all of our progress. We know everything else doesn’t work, which we’re about to see demonstrated yet again. With global collapse, many people will be looking for something that works, and bankrupt statism will not have the resources to enforce coercion. Global laissez-faire–or even laissez-faire across the US–may never happen, but I believe with the reset that’s coming, those of us interested in freedom will have our chance to carve out and defend our enclave or enclaves.
I sure hope that you are right. I’m not that optimistic. I see a lot more people who are focused on accumulating power through a race war than those who are concerned with liberty. Might makes right and the ends justify the means.

As for people looking for something that works, propaganda works quite effectively and judging from some comments on this very thread and virtually every other site that I visit, I get the National Socialist German Workers Party thrown in my face as the solution to all that ails America.
I’m not arguing with any of your points, but you’ve got to have something to aim for.
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly about having something to aim for, but you also need to be aware of the coyotes howling in the night trying to lure fido into the woods with the call of the wild that says, “You’re one of us” only to devour him when he falls for it.
