Diaper Report 9/24/20, by Eric Peters

Mandating face masks has nothing to do with health. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

Being Undiapered is a weird thing these days – a measure of just how weird these days are. In the “new normal,” it is considered abnormal to show your face – and normal to walk around with what amounts to a literal Diaper over your face – in terms of medical effectiveness – since any old piece of cloth qualifies.

That’s pretty weird.

Silly, too.

If the WuFlu were the dire omnipresence it’s asserted to be – which assertion flies in the face of the facts, but never mind – then surely any old piece of cloth would not qualify. Nothing less than one of those fairly pricey respirators would be the least people would have to wear.

Plus goggles. Which wouldn’t be silly, if the WuFlu were, in fact, the dire omnipresence it’s asserted to be. But almost no one Goggles – to prevent the exposed surface of your eyes from having virus particles enter your system that way. A wide-open vector for the much-dreaded “spread.”

The Gesundheitsfuhrers do not mandate it; CDC is silent.

Which tells you everything about the “dire omnipresence” of the WuFlu.

Yet almost everyone Diapers – literally. They don’t “PPE” – unless you believe any old piece of cloth protects your person from viruses, which is the same as believing that not stepping on sidewalk cracks will keep your momma’s back intact.

It’s a neurotic habit, normalized via habituation and social pressure.

And it’s a show – of submission.

Which is the dire omnipresence.

If you’re Undiapered; if you refuse to play-pretend that death is in the air and that a dirty old bandana or “mask” that comes out of a box on which it plainly states that it does not protect against the transmission of viruses somehow does, in the manner of keeping your momma’s back intact by not walking on sidewalk cracks.

Mandatory Mask Wearing Is Silent Terrorism Meant for Psychological Submission, by Gary D. Barnett

Given that the medical benefits of masks are questionable, if there are any, what other purposes are served by mandatory masks? From Gary D. Barnett at lewrockwell.com:

“If you are too weak to give yourselves your own law, then a tyrant shall lay his yoke upon you and say:” Obey! Clench your teeth and obey!” “And all good and evil shall be drowned in obedience to him.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

Since when is depriving the body and mind of oxygen, and breathing in expelled carbon dioxide (CO2) good for the health of humans? Since when is wearing a partial face covering that is multiple times more porous than can protect against any virus penetration helpful? Since when is hiding all expression from others not psychologically damaging? Since when is it legitimate and not hypocritical for the state to outlaw Muslim women from wearing head and face coverings that are part of their culture, and in the same breath force all Americans to cover their faces with a mask? Since when does any politician have any right to dictate to an entire population that they have to wear masks or any other type of clothing? Since when in this day and age did absolute slavery of all become a mainstay of American society?

Forced mask wearing due to political control over people is a major aspect of the tyrannical response to this fraudulent virus ‘pandemic.’ Social distancing, forced testing, quarantines, mandated business closings, temperature checks, mass surveillance, and any number of other atrocious invasions of privacy are all demeaning and oppressive, but the state and local orders supported by the national political and ‘health’ organizations to wear masks, is especially instructive of the real agenda sought. That agenda is as clear as day, and is being implemented not only as a test of mass societal compliance, but also to force people apart and to remove closeness, expression, and emotion from the human psyche. This is a purposeful state exercise with the intent of destroying the spirit of the American public, leaving only a society of unfeeling and obedient drones awaiting the next order handed down from on high.

Unmasked, by Gregory Morin

The science, or lack thereof, behind masking. From Gregory Morin at theburningplatform.com:

Why Face Masks DON'T Work, According To SCIENCE in 2020 | Prevention, Plan for life, Face mask

“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.”

New England Journal of Medicine, 2020; 382:363

These days everyone imagines himself or herself to be a scientist. Scolds, who labor under the delusion that reading the New York Times is equivalent to holding a doctorate, unceasingly inflict on us finger-wagging lectures about how we need to “listen to the science” when it comes to masks. Apparently “masks work” because “The Science™” says so. Newsflash: these media figures and self-styled authorities aren’t (largely) scientists and know not of what they speak. As a scientist myself I feel compelled to set the record straight on what is, and is not, science. For those degreed scientists out there parroting the mask propaganda: for shame, you should know better. Cherry picking, selection bias, anecdotal data, and dubious models have no place in the arsenal of scientific inquiry.

What is the claim built on?

Here’s the problem with “the science” about masks: the media cited studies are built on a foundation of sand. They are based on computer models1, anecdotal stories2, theoretical mechanistic (non-biological) analysis, or hypothetical contra factual scenarios.1 In short, if the conclusion of a study rests on “this would have happened” then that is not science. Science does not compare contra factual or hypothetical scenarios. It analyzes concrete, reproducible, controlled conditions (that are broad enough to be statistically valid). In every single story where there has been a reference made to evidence that “masks work” and I have drilled down through the 42 layers of links to get at the actual research document, it turns out the study is, surprise, based on a contra factual model, anecdote, or purely mechanistic study. Every. Single. Time. How do models support the claims?

Sweden Close To Victory Over Coronavirus; Never Had A Lockdown Or Mask Mandate, by Steve Watson

There’s the wrong way to do coronavirus, and there’s the Swedish way. From Steve Watson at summitnews.com:

“Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one.”

As the rest of Europe and the world remains under the grip of draconian rules and the threat of new lockdowns, Sweden, which allowed its citizens to remain free throughout the entire pandemic, has pretty much declared victory over the coronavirus.

The country now has one of the lowest infection rates on the planet, and it’s difficult not to admire how it has handled the past year, with no strict lockdown or compulsory face mask rules. All businesses, schools and public places remained open in Sweden for the duration.

“Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one,” Sweden’s senior epidemiologist Dr. Anders Tegnell commented to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

“What we see now is that the sustainable policy might be slower in getting results, but it will get results eventually,” Tegnell clarified.

“And then we also hope that the result will be more stable,” he added.

Untruth in Advertising, by Eric Peters

People don’t believe the propaganda about the coronavirus. If they did, they wouldn’t leave the house, protected only by flimsy face masks that demonstrably don’t work. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

Would you leave your home – even if you weren’t ordered to stay home – if you actually believed the Black Death (or something comparably serious) was in the air and that you stood a very real chance of being killed by it?

Would you trust your life to a dirty old bandana? A disposable “mask”? Feel comfortable because you were standing six feet apart from a possible plague carrier?

Probably not.

Shopping isn’t worth dying. A paycheck is of less value than your life. Yet people shop and work and send their kids to school – Diapered – because they want to pretend they are worried about sickness.

This is the real sickness afflicting America.

The Diaper is a prop.

Kind of like the blanket Peanuts character Linus carried around with him – except not cute.

No one in their right mind – in possession of the facts – would risk the Black Death or something even an eighth as serious for any reason shy of absolute necessity. The evidence – in the form of the bodies, in the form of every third person they know falling mortally ill – as opposed to the cases! the cases! – would keep them hunkered behind their doors until the plague had passed and never mind a dirty bandana over their mouths.

But people out of their minds are out and about, doing pretty much what they were doing before they lost their minds – with a Diaper on, which is the medically useful equivalent of flapping your arms when your parachute doesn’t open.

Cloth bandanas do not bar entry to viruses.

Neither do disposable “masks.”

Does wearing a mask cause diagnostic tests to read false-positive for COVID? by Jon Rappoport

Breathing in your own garbage would increase the number of germs in your body, which would increase the number of possibilities of generating a false positive on the standard Covid-19 PCR test. From Jon Rappoport at nomorefakenews.com:

Suppose one of the most intense “safety practices”—wearing a mask—actually inflates the number of COVID diagnoses?

Needless to say, it would be a bombshell. Suppose PCR and antibody tests turn out false positive results because people are wearing masks every day?

How is that possible?

Actually, it’s quite simple. A person wearing a mask is breathing in his own germs all day long. He breathes them out, as he should, but then he breathes them back in.

It seems evident that this unnatural process would increase the number and variety of germs circulating and replicating in his body; even creating active infection.

Along with this, a decrease in oxygen intake, which occurs when a mask is worn, would allow certain germs to multiply in the body—germs which would otherwise be routinely wiped out or diminished in the presence of an oxygen-rich environment.

Here’s the key: Both the PCR and antibody tests are known for registering false-positive results, since they cross-react with germs which have nothing to do with the reason for the test.

If wearing a mask increases the number and variety of germs replicating in the body, and also increases the chance of developing an active infection…then the likelihood of a false-positive PCR or antibody test is increased.

Doctor Short Stuff and Madam Scarf, by Real Estate Pup

It’s nice to read something from somebody who is happy and well-adjusted, both rarities these days. From Real Estate Pup at theburningplatform.com:

I still can’t wrap my head around their convoluted logic. If you think wearing a mask is good for you, then do it. If I don’t wear one, and you want to wear one, then what is the problem? If you are truly, truly convinced that mask help “stop the spread” (utter BS) and you have your mask on, then shouldn’t you be OK? Isn’t your safety you are concerned about? Because I seriously do not, will not, nay CANNOT believe it’s about MY SAFETY. The only people who care about my safety is me, my mother, and most times my dad. If a stranger says it, it’s a lie. They know it, and I know it. Extrapolate that out into the “government” which encompasses people who have never met me, been to my house, eaten a meal with me, then that, ladies and gentlemen, is mendacity on an epic scale.

Of course it’s the never-ending BS like being “polite” (not my problem or job), making others feel “safe” (also not my problem), or “following the law” (not a law, nice try), “for the children” (that’s rich) or “not wanting to kill old people” (last time I checked I never killed anyone, but lord give me strength I fight the urge daily in these the most craziest of times). I feel like that last one makes me seem like Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards…but now we are just running around without masks breathing on senior citizens all thug-life.

Media Mask-Mania, or Covid19 Groupthink, by Michael Lesher

There is no good reason for mandated face-masking. Its an exercise in control and groupthink, not health. From Michael Lesher at off-guardian.org:

I never thought I’d see the day when publicly wearing a muzzle would constitute a proof of virtue in the same country whose government, less than twenty years ago, rationalized the bloody invasion of Afghanistan as a way of saving women from veiling their faces.

But then, I never thought I’d hear American liberals proudly denounce supporters of the US Constitution as a “death cult,” nor that I’d actually start to find Donald Trump sounding almost reasonable.

But at least there’s one thing we can all be sure about: “mainstream” news media, busily cheerleading for the death of freedom, will continue to gush with absurdities, self-contradictions and victim-shaming memes in their propaganda war to Keep America Gagged. The Bill of Rights (in case you haven’t noticed) is history; today, we demonstrate our patriotism by creeping around hiding our faces. Dissenters need not apply.

If you think I’m exaggerating, I suspect you haven’t been paying attention. Recently I had the poor judgment to turn on National Public Radio for about an hour, under the impression that I was going to learn something about the day’s news.

I could have saved myself the trouble. During the hour in question, I learned nothing at all about the presidential election campaign (now in its final months), nothing about the tens of millions of my fellow citizens whose jobs have been snatched away by government fiat, nothing about climate change, nuclear arms buildups, international refugees or growing worldwide poverty – nothing even about the intensification of air and water pollution authorized by recent federal regulation, although pollution kills an estimated 100,000 Americans every year.
