Why Is Biden Creating His Own Crises? by Patrick J. Buchanan

The short answer to Buchanan’s question is because Biden is a senescent half-wit surrounded by mediocrities and worse who regard themselves as geniuses. From Patrick J. Buchanan at buchanan.org:

Our mainstream media largely ignored it, the world media did not.

Ascending the stairs of Air Force One on Friday, to fly to Georgia, President Joe Biden slipped and stumbled. Getting up, he slipped again and then fell. The scene was jolting and disquieting.

Adversaries abroad will use it as a metaphor for the decline of the last superpower to emerge from the Cold War.

And while our major media may scoff at it, there is talk all over this town about what appears to be the visibly declining physical and mental capacity of this oldest of American presidents at 78.

Biden’s press conference this coming Thursday — after the longest delay before a first full presidential press conference since Cal Coolidge — will be as closely monitored as Ronald Reagan’s second debate in 1984, after he seemed to suffer a mental lapse in his first debate with Fritz Mondale.

But now, after his legislative triumph with the enactment of his $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, Joe Biden has some new problems, all of his own making.

Ted Cruz Dons All-White Suit To Cry Outside Biden’s Detention Centers

From The Babylon Bee:

DONNA, TX—After disturbing pictures were released of conditions inside migrant detention facilities on the border, Senator Ted Cruz donned a bright white suit and visited the border with a camera crew to weep bitterly outside the chain-link fence.

“I’m here to see what’s really going on down here,” said Cruz, tears streaming down his face. “It’s even worse than I thought. These are literal concentration camps. The president is literally Hitler. I can’t believe this is happening in America.”

Cruz then doubled over, overcome with grief as camera flashes went off.

“WHHHYYYYYYYY? Oh, the humanity!” he cried, screaming toward the sky.

The Texas senator then posted the photos on social media so the world could share in his righteous indignation. Unfortunately, Twitter and Facebook suspended his account for taking unauthorized photos of a federal facility.

Study: Biden Administration Has Successfully Reduced Media Coverage Of Border Crisis By 867%

From The Babylon Bee:

U.S.—A new study has found that Biden has successfully handled the border crisis by reducing the amount of media coverage of the border crisis by 867%.

“Biden has expertly handled this crisis, reducing the number of media reports of the problem significantly,” said Jen Psaki in a press conference today. “Under the previous administration, there were thousands of news stories a day on the poor conditions of the migrants at the border. Under Biden, that number is way, way lower.”

Estimates suggest that whereas there was a steady stream of reports about bad conditions, inept government action, and inhumane handling of migrants who had crossed the border, Biden has “built a wall” around the information coming from the border, so that the influx of news stories has all but stopped.

“As Biden continues to expertly handle the crisis of media coverage, we expect the number of news stories to be reduced down to Obama administration levels in no time,” Psaki said proudly.

“But what about the kids in cage–” one Newsmax reporter began, only for Psaki to pull a handle and send him plummeting through a trap door.

The Illegal Immigration Crisis: It’s All About New Covid Lockdowns, by Brandon Smith

Have the new world order types created an immigration crisis in order to institute more lockdowns and other totalitarian measures? From Brandon Smith at alt-market.com:

In multiple articles I have published recently I outlined why an attempt at a new national covid lockdown in the US is inevitable. In my article ‘The Real Reasons Why Millions Of Americans Will Defy Covid Mandates And Vaccines’, I examined new polling numbers which show that a vast portion of the US population is refusing to comply with medical controls. The bottom line is this: Covid is a non-threat to 99.7% of the public, and the citizenry is getting wise to this fact. However, there are certain people that NEED the pandemic lockdowns to continue regardless of what the public wants.

The Biden Administration and its globalist handlers have BIG plans for the next few years, and all of it relies on pandemic fears and totalitarian restrictions.

The “Great Reset”, as Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum calls it, is never going to happen unless global populations are locked down and placed under control. Unconstitutional pieces of legislation that undermine or destroy the 2nd Amendment, like HR 127, will be impossible to enact if Americans are organized and unified to resist. Carbon taxation and “shared economy” policies will never be allowed to touch ground. Conservative Americans and many moderates will stamp out such measures like cockroaches within their own states. Law enforcement agencies in most areas would have no interest in being used as cannon fodder to enforce them.

The only option the globalists have at this stage is to barrel forward with the pandemic narrative despite the fact that Covid has turned out to be a hollow issue with a death rate of 0.26% outside of nursing home patients. At least half the country is ready to revolt over the mandates, and almost half the country is refusing to take the vaccines or accept medical passports. That is millions of people that are laughing in the face of the Reset agenda.

Do We Not Have Enough Enemies? by Patrick J. Buchanan

With the US government being the most hated institution on the planet, it seems like a wise move to make more enemies. From Patrick J. Buchanan at buchanan.org:

Asked bluntly by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos if he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is “a killer,” Joe Biden answered, “Uh, I do.”

Biden added that he once told Putin to his face that he had “no soul.”

Biden also indicated that new sanctions would be imposed on Russia for the poisoning of dissident Alexei Navalny and for meddling in the 2020 U.S. election to allegedly help Donald Trump. Russia also faces U.S. sanctions for building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline under the Baltic to deliver natural gas to Germany.

With its president being called a “killer” by the U.S. president, Russia called Ambassador Anatoly Antonov home “for consultations.” In other times, such an exchange would bring the two nations to the brink of war.

What is Biden doing? Do we not have enough enemies? Does he not have enough problems on his plate?

The May 1 deadline for full withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, negotiated a year ago with the Taliban, is just six weeks off. Do we stay and soldier on or depart? No decision has been announced.

If we stay, our forces in Afghanistan could, again, come under fire. If we leave, the Kabul regime could be shaken to its foundation and fall.

Leaving would be an admission that the U.S. failed, and the war is lost.

Systemic Failure, by The Zman

The money sentences: “What most likely lies ahead is spasms of disorder, followed by increasingly ham-fisted efforts to impose order. Those efforts to set things right will set off new spasms of disorder elsewhere in the system.” From The Zman at thezman.com:

Complexity in human systems often results in properties that have no obvious relationship to the people in the system. The example used when trying to explain complexity is the ant colony. A single ant is not a terribly complicated thing, but the ant colony is highly complex. Further, the actions of a single ant appear to be random, but all of those ants together look like a highly coordinated effort. You cannot learn much about an ant colony by studying a single ant.

Complexity in human systems often results in a disconnect between the user inputs and expected outputs. People who work with large software systems run into this when making changes to the system. If the system has been around for a while, it often has been modified many times by many hands. New changes often result in strange and unexpected downstream consequences. Every new change means the next change will be more costly in testing and error correction.

Ants and software can be interesting, but they are not the best example to use when thinking about the human system known as society. We don’t have the ability to completely stand outside of society, like we do with an ant colony, and objectively observe the emergent properties as a whole. We live in society. Unlike a software system, we don’t have a design spec or documentation. We have to infer the design from the actions we observe, which creates its own complexity.

We have some examples of this over the last year. The great election fraud was not the result of a master plan from grand strategists operating in a secret lair. Like the ant colony, it was the result of thousands of individual actions by people motivated by years of conditioning from the ruling class. For the bulk of the managerial class, down to the entry level clerks, opposing Trump became a religion. Stopping him through any means necessary became part of their collective mindset.

GOP Moves To Save Biden: We Want Amnesty, Too! by Ann Coulter

You would think after Trump rode the immigration issue to the presidency that the Republicans would eschew their pre-Trump, Democrat-lite immigration proposals. However, it’s not called the stupid party for no reason. From Ann Coulter at anncoulter.com:

GOP Moves To Save Biden: We Want Amnesty, Too!

President Joe Biden’s immigration bill will put virtually all illegal immigrants on a bullet train to citizenship, provided that they meet the onerous requirement of claiming to have entered the country before Jan. 1, 2021. Only terrorists and convicted felons are excluded — at least in theory, but past experience suggests they’ll get amnesty, too. Even illegal immigrants who’ve already been deported will be invited back and given amnesty.

So far, the Republicans’ response has been to propose their own amnesty, while throwing in some boob-bait for the rubes about border security.

Even the election of Donald Trump, a ridiculous creature who became president by promising to crack down on illegal immigration and build a wall (promises he ignored), hasn’t put a dent in Washington’s enthusiasm for overwhelming the country with the third world.

On this, the parties are united! The only difference is, Republicans lie to the voters about securing the border.

Under Biden’s immigration bill, a gigantic number of illegals will be given green cards immediately and will be eligible for citizenship in three years — just in time for the 2024 election.

That includes all Dreamers (who entered as minors — or say they did); those who came in as temporary agricultural workers (or say they did); and any illegals who have been granted Temporary Protected Status because of some disaster in their home countries.

Biden’s bill doesn’t even include the usual false promises of border security. That’s where Republicans come in!

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., is floating a bill that would grant amnesty to Dreamers in exchange for vague promises of a border wall system.

A border wall system should not be confused with a border wall. It’s easy enough to write “wall.” So why didn’t he do that?

With 13,000 ‘Kids In Cages’, We Remember When Biden Vowed To “Flood The Border” When Elected, by Tyler Durden

Biden’s immigration policy is a free-for-all (pun intended) fiasco, but the Democrats don’t mind. Most of the new entrants will be casting votes for Democrats. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

As Congressional GOP push the line that President Biden created the current border crisis thanks to his early executive actions on immigration and a ‘pathway to citizenship,’ and White House officials insisting it isn’t a crisis, let’s first take a trip down memory lane and review what Biden said during the first Democratic primary debate.

In response to a question on immigration, Biden said that he would make sure there would be an “immediate surge to the border.” While it’s unclear from his answer who exactly would be doing the surging, he also insisted that ‘people seeking asylum deserve to be heard.’

Watch:

Fast forward to today, as the border crisis – which is exactly what it is – worsens:

As Summit News’ Steve Watson detailed earlier, the crisis at the border continues to accelerate, as CBS News reported Tuesday that there are now more than 13,000 unaccompanied migrant children being held in prison like cells by US authorities.

Predictable Train Wrecks On Crime And Immigration, by Charles Lipson

Democratic policies are leading to increases in crime, increases in illegal immigration, and crime by illegal immigrants. From Charles Lipson at realclearpolitics.com:

Predictable Train Wrecks on Crime and Immigration

(AP Photo/Andrew Harnik)

If you think really hard, perhaps you can imagine more disastrous policies than throwing open our country’s southern border and abandoning criminal-law enforcement in city after city. The consequences are already emerging, and they are grim. It is important to examine them without ideological blinders so we can change course before more damage is done.

Our border policies are national fiats handed down by the Biden administration. The abandonment of criminal enforcement, by contrast, is a local decision, made by supine city councils and district attorneys, many of them “social justice Democrats” backed by progressive elites and Black Lives Matter.

The problem with these policies is not their moral motivation. Helping the poor from Central America is a worthy cause. So is reducing the incarceration rate of young males from minority communities. The problem lies in their practical effects. It is those effects, not sugarplum dreams, that matter in judging public policy.

The most consequential effect of open immigration and lax criminal enforcement is to undermine the safe, stable environment law-abiding citizens need to go about their lives, free from predation. Providing that environment — and signaling clearly that you intend to provide it — is the first responsibility of government.

Biden Broke The Border, Now He Owns The Humanitarian Crisis There, by the Issues and Insights Editorial Board

You put out a welcome mat and people come to your country, especially if your country is richer than theirs. Any professions of surprise from Democrats about the immigration wave are either disingenuous or abjectly stupid. From the Issues and Insights Editorial board at issuesinsights.com:

U.S. Navy photo by Steelworker 1st Class Matthew Tyson

Just one week ago, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas flat out denied that there is a crisis at the southern border. “The answer is no,” he said in answer to a reporter’s question. “I think there is a challenge at the border that we are managing.”

The very next day, administration officials informed President Joe Biden that the number of migrant children in the U.S. is on pace to beat the previous record by 45% and that there aren’t enough beds to accommodate them.

Then Monday, Mayorkas started pleading for volunteers to help Border Protection cope with the “overwhelming” surge of illegal border crossers. “Your colleagues need assistance,” he said.

In January alone, Border Patrol agents had 78,323 “encounters” with illegal border crossers – which is higher than any January in a decade. In the three months since Biden won the election, these “encounters” totaled 224,337, which is 87% higher than the same three months a year ago.

According to the New York Times, there were likely 100,000 more “encounters” in February.

NBC News says that a “record number of unaccompanied migrant children” are being held in “facilities meant for adults” and nearly half have been held for longer than the three-day limit.

“The CBP holding cells, sometimes known as ‘hieleras,’ or iceboxes, are not designed for children. They are typically small concrete rooms with concrete or metal benches and no beds,” it reported.

Yet Biden won’t explain why the surge is happening, much less take responsibility for it. He won’t even admit there’s a problem.

Last week, a reporter asked Biden: “Did you receive a briefing about the border today?”

Biden: “Uhhhh. Yes, I did.”

Reporter: “What did you learn?”

Biden: “A lot.”

Then Biden left the room.
