Politicians Have No Right Demanding ‘Vaccine Passports’ When the Vaccines Themselves Are Fraught With Risk, by Robert Bridge

It’s your life and your body, and you have the absolute right to determine what goes in it. From Robert Bridge at strategic-culture.org:

We must choose between signing up to a lifetime of imperfect shots or remain sort of social pariahs for the rest of our lives, Robert Bridge writes.

If it were possible to say with absolute scientific authority that vaccinations are the best way for the planet to escape from the Covid-19 death grip, then it might seem plausible – albeit still highly arguable – for governments to demand proof of ‘the mark’ for participating in the global economy. As things stand, however, nothing to date indicates that there are not more effective and reliable means of moving forward.

The relentless push for vaccine passports by opportunistic authoritarians around the globe took a broadside this week as Israeli researchers discovered what had been suspected by many all along: natural immunity acquired via infection, as opposed to vaccinations, provides the best defense against Covid-19 and its seemingly endless array of Greek-coded variants.

The study, which examined up to 32,000 individuals, found that the risk of developing Covid-19 was 27 times higher among the vaccinated (with the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine), and the risk of hospitalization eight times higher, as compared to those individuals who had acquired natural immunity.

Equally shocking, individuals who were administered two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were almost six-times more likely to contract the Delta variation and seven-times more likely to have symptomatic disease than those who recovered from the disease naturally, according to the study, which is up for peer review.

Vaccine Mandates & The “Great Reset”, by Philipp Bagus

The primary psychological weapon employed by the great reset crowd is fear. From Philipp Bagus at mises.org:

Pressure on the unvaccinated grows. While the vaccinated in some countries are getting back some of their freedoms taken away by the covid interventions, the unvaccinated are not so well off. They are being targeted for discrimination. Access to public spaces and traveling is being made more difficult for them. In some countries there is even mandatory vaccination for some professions.

But why is the vaccination campaign so important to governments that they are increasing the pressure to such an extent? And who has an interest in the global vaccination campaign?

To answer these questions, it is necessary to analyze the prevalent vaccination narrative and ask who benefits from it. In doing so, the alliance of interests between the state, the media, the pharmaceutical industry, and supranational institutions must be addressed.

Let us start with the pharmaceutical industry. It has an obvious economic interest in the vaccination campaign. It makes enormous profits from widespread vaccination.

What about the state? In the covid-19 crisis, politicians have systematically amplified fear and hysteria. This was no accident and is unsurprising, for the state builds its raison d’être on the argument that it protects the population from internal and external dangers. The state is built upon fear. The narrative is that without the help of the state, the citizen would be defenseless against hunger, poverty, accidents, war, terrorism, disease, natural disasters, and pandemics. It is, therefore, in the state’s interest to instill fear of possible dangers, which it then pretends to resolve, expanding its power in the process. A relatively recent example is the restriction of civil liberties in the US in response to the threat of terrorism after the 9-11 attacks and the second Iraq war. Similarly, it was in the interest of governments to purposefully instill fear and portray covid-19 as a unique killer virus in order to expand state power to an extent unknown in peacetime at the expense of citizens’ fundamental rights.

Injection Resistance Is a Class Thing, by Michael Tracey

If you’re fondest dream is to run a major corporation some day, you’re going to get the shot. If you’re a working Joe who doesn’t think much of the corporate climbers, you’re probably going to resist getting the shot. From Michael Tracey at anti-empire.com:

A “F-you” from the people who sell their labor, not their soul

Mr. gutless corporate ladder climber, you wouldn’t understand

It’s not often that I’d feel compelled to share a full reader email. I get a lot of emails… and let’s just say the quality can vary.

But here’s an extremely high-quality email that’s worth reproducing. It comes in response to an article of mine from last week about the media’s unshakable obsession with partisanship in relation to the phenomenon of “vaccine hesitancy.” Glance at most popular coverage of the issue and you’d come away thinking that Republican voting inclination is the only relevant variable in why millions of Americans are “hesitant” to take COVID vaccines.

I don’t know about you, but my hunch when examining vaccine uptake data from around the country has long been that socioeconomic status — or, to put it more simply, class — is a highly salient factor, perhaps even dwarfing partisanship. And while race also does get mentioned a fair amount — among racial groups, blacks have the lowest predilection to get vaccinated — whatever racial disparities exist could easily be more a function of socioeconomic status than any intrinsically “racial” factor.

Issues of class tend to be less exciting than race and partisanship for the media to bicker amongst themselves about though, so it’s unsurprising that this would be mostly glossed over. And it should go without saying that the vast majority of people who work in the media/nonprofit/activism complex come from a very distinct socioeconomic stratum, hence why they often miss trends that derive from lower-class sensibilities with which they are unfamiliar, and seldom ever encounter.

The letter-writer below asked to remain anonymous for reasons that will become obvious once you begin reading. But most relevantly, he/she has direct firsthand experience with disparate vaccine uptake rates among differing socioeconomic groups, and proffers a theory explaining these disparities. The context here is a corporate one, but the dynamics referenced strike me as universalizable enough to potentially account for a large degree of overall “vaccine hesitancy.” And yet what he/she’s getting at is essentially never considered in US media squabbles.

I wouldn’t necessarily endorse every aspect of the conclusions proposed, but I endorse the worthiness of airing the opinion. Emails like this make the more “unkind” feedback I receive worth it!

100 Million Vaccine-Hesitant Americans Will Get The Shot Now That A Government Agency Said It’s OK

From The Babylon Bee:

Opting out of Sickness Psychosis, by Eric Peters

Civil disobedience and some well-directed questions are recommended opt-outs. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

How do the sane among us prepare for a world in which sickness psychosis obtains?

A world in which healthy people are expected to efface their faces and roll up their sleeves – over and over again – and then present proof they have, in order to be allowed to live? Who wants to live this way?

There is a way out.

Two, actually.

The first could make the second unnecessary, if only enough people would summon the gumption to practice rational refusal. To demand to know why a healthy person should be forced to wear a “mask” in the absence of sickness – and on the basis of  the nonsensical assertion that a “mask” prevents the spread of this sickness, for which there is no evidence, merely assertion.

To question why a sickness with a 99.8-something recovery rate among otherwise healthy people under the age of 70 should be justification for presumptively – and forcibly – treating every person as if they were over 70 and unhealthy.

To ask why the “health” of other people is not primarily the responsibility of those other people.

To insist upon the ancient and honorable human right to freely associate. To ask why it is that some people feel they have the right to forbid others to freely associate.

To loudly ask why a reasonable person ought not to be wary of any product that not only could be dangerous but which has proved itself to be dangerous – made by companies that cannot be sued for the damages their products cause. To note the incongruity of this, as shown by the understandable unwillingness of most people to buy even a TV without a warranty, let alone one that sometimes blows up or catches fire.

DHS Bulletin Says Opposition To COVID Mandates Is Potential “Domestic Terrorism Threat”, by Tyler Durden

Clearly SLL is a “domestic terrorism threat”; I’ve fought Covid mandates since they came out. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

On Friday the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an almost unbelievable new “terrorism” alert contained in a so-called ‘awareness bulletin’. While focused heavily on the threat posed by “false narratives and conspiracy theories about the 2020 election” – clearly making connections to Jan.6, the bulletin pivoted to unprecedented territory.

It’s nothing new for the Biden administration to warn and hype about “calls to violence” related to the “Capitol insurrection” – but what is new and unprecedented is its warning about potential “attacks” by “violent extremists” related to COVID-19 “conspiracy theories”

Screengrab of NBC broadcast

The document was the result of a DHS meeting held with top officials and high ranking intelligence officers across multiple agencies from departments in New York, Washington, and Las Vegas, NBC News reported.

The threat bulletin describes that extremists “may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks.”

This is the first time to our knowledge that “terrorism” is linked to the movement among large groups of skeptical Americans to push back against local, state and federal efforts to impose drastic mask, vaccine, and so-called ‘COVID passport’ mandates.

The teens who’d prefer to catch Covid than have the vaccine… and why the Government’s ‘kebabs for jabs’ bribes WON’T change their minds, by Eve Simmons

A lot of British teens would rather take their chances with Covid than the vaccine. From Eve Simmons at dailymail.co.uk:

  • It was announced this month at all 16- and 17-year-olds would be offered a jab
  • More than 16,000 teenagers took up the offer to receive a first dose last week
  • But many at that age feel that evidence shows the virus is not a threat to them

Trawling through Government Covid statistics might seem like a strange hobby for a 16-year-old.

But when he isn’t practising on his guitar, or watching TikTok videos, that’s what Jacob Mellor can be found doing. And thanks to his keen interest in ‘the data’, he has come to a decision – one that could have a profound impact on his own health and that of those around him.

Earlier this month, when it was announced that all 16- and 17-year-olds would be offered a Covid jab, Jacob promptly announced he would be opting out. All the evidence, he says, shows this virus is not a threat to him. And so he feels it would be better to catch Covid, and develop natural immunity, than to have a vaccine.

‘From the beginning we’ve been told that this virus didn’t affect kids,’ says Jacob, from Croydon in South London, who attends an independent school. ‘We even had assemblies about it at school, telling us why we shouldn’t worry because it’s just a cold for people my age.

‘So why should I take a vaccine to protect against something I won’t get ill from? Especially when I know there’s a risk involved with having it. The risk is small, I appreciate that, but it’s still there and I can’t get over that.’

Not only does Jacob have no qualms about catching Covid, he is almost looking forward to it. ‘It would be a good thing, in my eyes. I’d build a strong immunity and I wouldn’t have to worry about risks, like I would with the jab,’ he says.

‘Loads of my friends had Covid last year and the worst that happened was that they were stuck in bed for a couple of days. We all see Covid as something we’re not really bothered about. If I get it, it might suck for a few days, but I’ll be immune, so there’s a benefit to me.’

Covid Jab? by Jeremy Parfitt

A lot of good reasons not to take any of the Covid vaccines, from Jeremy Parfitt at lewrockwell.com:

Dear Lew,

I wrote this at the request of a friend who is receiving enormous pressure to take the jab. She asked me to write something to help her explain why she won’t take it.

An enormous amount of pressure is being placed on people, from politicians, public health officials, the media, celebrities and friends, to get vaccinated. Many go so far as to claim that researching the issue for oneself and doing a careful cost/benefit analysis is selfish. As with all things Covid, this obsessive push is unprecedented, and is not remotely supported by evidence. It is understandable why people are afraid, and mostly misinformed, about Covid in general, and these vaccines in particular. For 18 months we have been subjected to a non stop, entirely one sided, campaign of fear, censorship and misinformation. Factual information from the most credible experts in the world has been labelled “fake” and suppressed. Meanwhile misleading, and often false, information is simply asserted as fact, and those who challenge the narrative are criticized and suppressed. Something very strange is going on here.

Until recently, suggesting that making decisions about one’s own body is selfish, would be mostly unthinkable. Now it is commonplace. Determining what one puts in his body is a basic human right, it is important that we do not sacrifice it. Everyone has a right to assess their own risk and decide for themselves.

Here are some things to consider when deciding whether to take these vaccines.

– How dangerous is Covid for you should you become sick?

It is well known that the risk of Covid varies widely due to age and health. If you are old and sick, it might make sense to take the vaccines, if you are not, it is reasonable to decide not to. Here is the IFR (infection fatality rate) breakdown by age.

Note that for those under 55, the IFR is similar to the seasonal flu. But, and this is very important, these broad demographic categories include large numbers of very unhealthy people. Within each demographic, the IFR is an average of people at higher and lower risk. According to the CDC, 94% of those reported to have died from Covid had severe comorbidities (average of 2.6). This suggests that your health is the most important factor to consider when assessing risk. If you are healthy, not obese, don’t have diabetes or a heart condition, your actual risk will be significantly lower than the average IFR in your group. Under age 65, the risk to you, if you are healthy, is likely to be similar to, or less than, the risk posed by the seasonal flu. In younger groups, if one is healthy, the risk is negligible. The bottom line is that, if you are healthy, Covid is not very dangerous.

America Goes Jonestown, by Eric Peters

Cults have never reacted well to disbelief. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

When cults feel threatened by lack of faith – by disbelief –  the tendency is for them to get suicidally and homicidally violent.

This is the stage we’re entering now as regards the Cult of Sickness Eternal. Its leaders and membership are fulminating over the lack of faith being expressed by an alarmingly large (to them) portion of the population that does not believe they will die – or even get sick –  if they don’t receive the Holy Anointing.

And worries (with reason) that they may get sick – or even die – if they do. And absolutely refuses to accept being told they must – or else – by people like Pope Fauci I and Joe Biden, et al.

Cardinal of Sickness Kay Ivey of Alabama bared her yellowed fangs at unbelievers the other day, characterizing these “folks” as “choosing a horrible lifestyle of self-inflicted pain,” for electing not to pretend they’re sick when they are healthy nor risk becoming very sick – via an Anointing – because other people have become pathologically afraid of becoming sick.
