Of Rioters, Protesters & Patriots, by Patrick J. Buchanan

Some riots are protests and some protests are riots, depending on the participants and their causes, and who’s describing them. From Patrick J. Buchanan at buchanan.org:

To Parliament, in the London of George III, the Boston Massacre of 1770 and the Tea Party of 1773 were not seen in the same light as they were by the Sons of Liberty in the Massachusetts colony.

To Parliament, this was mob violence, and the shooting and killing at Lexington and Concord were acts of insurrection and treason.

But because we won the Revolution, those events are portrayed and remembered differently. For when it comes to riots and revolutions, all depends on who writes the narrative of history. It is the winners.

“Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past,” said George Orwell in his novel “1984.”

To the media, the long hot summer of rioting, looting and arson that followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis was driven by “racial justice” protests against a “systemic racism” that permeates society.

The rioters were calling attention to injustices we Americans have failed to address, like police brutality. And almost all of these “peaceful protesters” were calling us to be a better people.

And did not the riots produce beneficial results?

The (New Normal) War on Domestic Terror, by CJ Hopkins

Nobody ever said that a government’s domestic enemies, repressed and tyrannized, had to actually represent a plausible threat. From CJ Hopkins at consentfactory.org:

If you enjoyed the Global War on Terror, you’re going to love the new War on Domestic Terror! It’s just like the original Global War on Terror, except that this time the “Terrorists” are all “Domestic Violent Extremists” (“DVEs”), “Homegrown Violent Extremists” (“HVEs”), “Violent Conspiracy-Theorist Extremists” (“VCTEs”), “Violent Reality Denialist Extremists” (VRDEs”), “Insurrectionary Micro-Aggressionist Extremists” (“IMAEs”), “People Who Make Liberals Feel Uncomfortable” (“PWMLFUs”), and anyone else the Department of Homeland Security wants to label an “extremist” and slap a ridiculous acronym on.

According to a “National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin” issued by the DHS on January 27, these DCEs, HVEs, VCTEs, VRDEs, IMAEs, and PWMLFUs are “ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority” and other “perceived grievances fueled by false narratives.” They are believed to be “motivated by a range of issues, including anger over Covid-19 restrictions, the 2020 election results, police use of force,” and other dangerous “false narratives” (e.g., the existence of the “deep state,” “herd immunity,” “biological sex,” “God,” and so on).

“Inspired by foreign terrorist groups” and “emboldened by the breach of the US Capitol Building,” this diabolical network of “domestic terrorists” is “plotting attacks against government facilities,” “threatening violence against critical infrastructure” and actively “citing misinformation and conspiracy theories about Covid-19.” For all we know, they might be huddled in the “Wolf’s Lair” at Mar-a-Lago right now, plotting a devastating terrorist attack with those WMDs we never found in Iraq, or generating population-adjusted death-rate charts going back 20 years, or posting pictures of “extremist frogs” on the Internet.

America In Its Last Days, by Paul Craig Roberts

There are all sorts of ominous portents for America. From Paul Craig Roberts at paulcraigroberts.com:

Democrats and Media Whores Dismiss Statements of Facts as “Baseless,” But Themselves Endorse Antifa, BLM, and 1619 Project Conspiracy Theories, Russiagate Conspiracy Theory, White Supremacist Insurrection Conspiracy Theory and every other Conspiracy Theory that Serves Their Agendas

Here Are the Democrats’ Supporters. They Are Marching Through D.C. Threatening People and Violence.  Why Aren’t the Democrats Being Impeached for Encouraging Violence?

Notice that The Hill and the entirety of the US scum media dismiss statement of facts as “baseless” but themselves endorse all the Antifa and BLM conspiracy theories.

The Biden Regime’s Revolution Against American Freedom Is Unfolding In Front of Our Eyes

Democrats say Trump can’t mention election fraud at trial: Why?

The Collapse of Red Vs. Blue, by Tom Luongo

It’s not red versus blue, it’s us versus them. From Tom Luongo at tomluongo.me:

Are you ever confused when Republicans vote for more welfare spending?

Do you wonder why America’s wars always seem to start under Democrats?

During the aftermath of the Presidential election did it anger you that long-serving Republicans refused to take President Trump’s complaints about the election seriously?

Did their final betrayal of him hit you like a punch to the solar plexus, knocking all the wind out of your chest?

I can honestly say none of this surprised me at all. I know, bully for me, right?

Well, no, actually. It makes me sad to have been right for all these years.
I’ve seen the pantomime in D.C. as both sides hand off control to each other every few years but always ‘govern’ with the same over-riding purpose; to build an unassailable wall of power between the political elite and the people they rule.

This is true because there is no divide between the two parties in D.C. The GOP and the DNC are, in the great words of libertarian commentator Tom Woods, “Two wings of the same bird of prey.”

And one of the very best things that has come about from this election cycle, where clear and pervasive voter fraud occurred, is that so many more people have come to that same conclusion.

If you are one of them, believe me, it gets easier to accept every day.
I hear from well-meaning, thoughtful conservatives all the time. They are good, decent people and they are regularly so disappointed by the Republicans who campaign on the correct rhetoric but get into office and give into the pork spending, the assaults on our culture and never stand up to the Democrats’ insane ravings about race and inequality.

It’s because they are part of The Club folks…

..and The Club exists for their benefit, not yours.

Biden Day One: Nothing Changed, Nothing Ever Will, by Martin Sieff

The Biden administration is going to pretend like the 2016 election and subsequent four years never happened, and things are going to go back to what they were before. From Martin Sieff at strategic-culture.org:

The Liberal Sleepwalkers are not dealing with the passive, stupid thuggish, unthinking herd that they believe half the American people to be.

The Doom of the Biden Administration and within the next eight years of the entire supposedly great and mighty Democratic Party has been written in deeds on the very first full day of Joe Biden’s presidency.

There were absolutely no surprises whatsoever in it. Biden did what he said he was going to do. He nominated exactly the people he said he was going to nominate. The US Liberal Mainstream Media with their usual Courage and Character slavishly applauded with unanimous mindless reverence.

We are back in 2016. Donald Trump Never Happened. The populist national awakening across the American Heartland never happened. All the material gains that the white, black and Hispanic long-suffering working classes genuinely made in the first three years of Trump’s presidency are going to be erased. They Never Happened Either. Just Shut Your Eyes and It Will All Go Away.

In First Weeks, Biden Admin Makes Priorities Clear As Voters Begin To Ask Where’s The Help, by Jon Hall

Democrats have historically talked up populism while sliding into bed with corporate power. The Biden democrats have given up talking up populism, they just hop into bed with the corporations. From Jon Hall at fmshooter.com:

As any observant follower of politics knows, executive orders amidst a new Presidential administration taking office is nothing unusual. The orders can consistently be relied on as a good indicator as to the aims and intentions of a new presidency. Cue the Biden administration making headlines off the bat upon revoking the permit of the Keystone Pipeline XL, halting construction and eliminating 11,000 jobs in the process. Under Biden, the U.S. also re-joins the Paris climate accord.

Several of Biden’s executive orders did away with Trump’s isolationist, “America First” immigration policies. Notably, non-citizens are now required to be included in the Census and get an apportionment of congressional representatives. DACA is fortified and protected. The restrictions placed by the Trump administration on U.S. entry for passport holders from seven Muslim-majority countries was also reversed.

Construction of the border wall stops as the national emergency declaration used for funding was terminated under another executive action. Sure, Biden signed an order that, according to CNN, “restores collective bargaining power and worker for protections for federal workers… and… $15 minimum wage”.

$15 minimum wage…by 2025. And for federal workers only.

Biden’s executive executive orders also saw a slew of COVID-related actions. In the Biden admin, a “COVID-19 Response Coordinator” will report to Biden and distribute vaccinations. A “100 Days Masking Challenge” will ask the public to be socially distant and wear a face mask. Masks required in airports, public transport, and on federal land – with FEMA directed to create “federally-supported community vaccination centers”.

The Disuniting of America Is Now Inevitable Under Joe Biden and the Radical Left, by Robert Bridge

The Corruptocracy is going to try to recreate the reality that has prevailed since at least the Bush the Elder administration. The question is, will reality cooperate? From Robert Bridge at strategic-culture.org:

Joe Biden will ram through warped liberal social experiments masquerading as credible, time-tested programs designed to stabilize the nation.

It was a stark image never before seen in Washington, DC, and one that bodes ill for the future prospects of the country. A locked down capital ringed in barbed wire, with 25,000 troops encompassing the Capitol building, provided a surreal backdrop to Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th POTUS.

The excuse Democrats have provided for turning the ‘citadel of democracy’ into a maximum security prison is not due to a growing distrust with the electoral process. Nor was it blamed on the spectacle of the mainstream media and Big Tech silencing the voices of exactly one half of the U.S. electorate – up to and including that of the now former president, Donald J. Trump. No, to suggest such irrational things would attract howls of ‘conspiracy theory’ from the liberal gallery.

Thankfully, we have Silicon Valley fact checkers and corporate media commentators to lead us to the valley of truth, which informs us that all those Trump “insurgents” who invaded the Capitol building on January 6th were motivated by pure evil intentions rooted in racism, sedition and white supremacist ideology. And as Hillary Clinton suggested during an off-the-rails interview with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Trump and his motley crew of deplorables may have taken their marching orders from none other than Vladimir Putin himself. Who needs fiction writers these days when we have the Democratic Party?

Big Tech, Big Brother and the End of Free Speech, by Frank Miele

Do you now or have you ever supported Donald Trump? Will that be the new McCarthyite question that will cost people their reputations, jobs, and freedom? From Frank Miele at realclearpolitics.com:

In George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” members of the Outer Party of Oceania engage in the Two Minutes Hate ritual against Emmanuel Goldstein, who is supposed to be the enemy of the people but may actually just be a fabricated symbol to distract the people from their real enemy — Big Brother.

In Nancy Pelosi’s “Twenty Twenty-One,” members of the Democratic Party engage in the Two Hours Hate against Donald Trump, who is supposed to be the enemy of the people, but may actually just be a fabricated symbol to distract the people from their real enemy — Big Tech.

Two hours of hate — er, debate — was held in the House of Representatives last Wednesday for the avowed purpose of removing a president of the United States. That’s all it took. Two hours. That should tell you everything you need to know about the state of democracy in our country.

More time is routinely spent on picking wallpaper. But let’s face it, most families wouldn’t trust Congress to pick out wallpaper for their living room, so why should we trust these self-appointed moral arbiters to pick our president?

Well, we don’t. Not all of us.

Rep. Doug LaMalfa, a Republican representative from California, put it plainly in his 90-second speech when he said the “second annual impeachment” of Donald Trump “isn’t really about actual words spoken at a rally. No, this is all about the unbridled hatred of this president [by Democrats]. You use any extreme language and any process to oppose the core of what he has really fought for. You hate him because he is pro-life, the strongest ever. You hate him for fighting for the freedom of religion. … You hate him for Israel. You hate him for defending our borders. … You hate him for putting America first.”

Build Back Bitter, by Simon Black

There are no politics left, only blood sport. From Simon Black at sovereignman.com:

It’s over everyone, you can sleep easy again— the party of peace, tolerance, and reconciliation is back in power. Amen. And Awomen.

They claim they want to heal and unify the nation. But clearly the only way to do so is to create enemies lists and silence anyone with dissenting opinions.

For example, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked, “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?”

Robert Reich, Labor Secretary under Clinton, and adviser to Obama, Tweeted, “When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission [to] name every official, politician, executive and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.”

Chris Hayes, an MSNBC host agreed saying, “The most humane and reasonable way to deal with all these people, if we survive this, is some kind of truth and reconciliation commission.”

And Dick Costolo, the former CEO of Twitter, said, “Me-first capitalists … are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution. I’ll happily provide video commentary.”

Clearly social media companies like Twitter are a big part of the efforts to unify the nation.

Twitter deleted 70,000 accounts using the trespassing of the Capitol as an excuse.

Amazon Web Services removed the alternative social media site Parler from its servers, while Apple and Google deleted Parler from their app stores.

Facebook and Reddit joined the purge, feverishly removing content that they don’t want their users to see.

Lesson Of Trump #1, by The Zman

Many people, perhaps now a majority, understand there is a uniparty that fronts for the people who actually run the government, regardless of who’s nominally in charge. From The Zman at theburningplatform.com:

As the military begins the process of installing The Pretender as the figurative leader of the American Empire, it is a good time to take stock of what has happened over the last five years. From the perspective of political psychology, the world all of us inhabit today is a vastly different one from the world of 2015. This includes the dissident right, which has been transformed by the Trump experience. In the before times, politics was all shades of gray, while today it is in black and white.

An obvious example is Conservative Inc. The Obama years were tough for those rackets, as it became clear to many conservative people that these guys cared more about how the Left thought of them than in advancing their issues. Compounding it was the refusal to address the failures of the Bush years. Even so, they really thought they could keep peddling hyper-violent Progressivism to conservatives, as long as they decorated it with pictures of Reagan.

That racket smashed onto the rocks of the Trump experience. Traffic for the old school neocon sites collapsed. The Weekly Standard folded. These people revealed themselves to be a blend of old school confidence men and petulant, nasty liars who hate the people they claim to represent. They still have an audience of chumps unable to smarten up, but otherwise Conservative Inc. has no audience. They exist because the Left thinks they are useful for now.
