Justin Trudeau and Pathetic Global Elites, by Vasko Kohlmayer

Justin Trudeau epitomizes Covid commissars: a man of little accomplishment who derives perverse, misanthropic satisfaction from telling other people what to do. From Vasko Kohlmayer at lewrockwell.com:

Every word he says he is a lie. A nose as long as the trucker‘s convoy.” – Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

When thousands of truckers drove toward Ottawa in protest against the vaccine mandates, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described them as “the small fringe minority” holding “unacceptable views.”

As the movement gained momentum and the truckers were joined and cheered on by scores of their compatriots objecting to Canada’s regime of Covid oppression, Trudeau implied that they were racists and Nazis. This he added on top of his earlier characterization of those who object to his policies as misogynists, science deniers, purveyors of misinformation and conspiracy theorists.

By doing this he followed the standard line of the woke elites when dealing with those who do not want to go along with their de-humanizing and exploitative agendas. Rather than meeting the other side in rational discussion, they simply hurl insults that are void of any substance. “Racist,” “Nazi,” “conspiracy theorist,” “misogynist” are their slurs of choice. It does not matter to them that such characterizations are baseless. Their wanton abuse of language and truth shows just how pathetic and detached from reality the elitists really are.

Trudeau’s tirades could not be more laughable or absurd. That the unfolding protests have nothing to do with racism or Nazism or misogyny or science-denial is glaringly obvious to everyone with the eyes to see. What the protesters are standing up against is their government’s Covid chicanery, which has been among the most repressive in the western world.

Lockdowns, curfews, travel bans, injections and boosters forced via onerous ID passports, police harassment: this has been Canadians’ experience in the past twenty-four months.

And when people finally rise against their oppression, Trudeau resorts to calling them names which bear no relation to who these people are or what they are asking for.

What Canada needs is a true leader and not some little weaselly dictator like Justin Trudeau. One perceptive lady told me the other day that Trudeau seems to her like someone who should model underwear. The lady was not trying to be funny; she was speaking in earnest. I was struck by the aptness of her observation and how it seems to have captured something essential about the man. Trying to picture it, he would be a very good candidate for this kind of role in these Covidic times.

Letter to Justin Trudeau, by Margaret Anna Alice

A plea to Justin Trudeau for a 180 degree reversal, from Margaret Anna Alice at margaretannaalice.substack.com:

Letter to Justin Trudeau; Magician Disappearing Himself

“The quality of mercy is not strained.

It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven

Upon the place beneath. It is twice blessed:

It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.

’Tis mightiest in the mightiest. It becomes

The thronèd monarch better than his crown.

His scepter shows the force of temporal power,

The attribute to awe and majesty

Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings,

But mercy is above this sceptered sway.

It is enthronèd in the hearts of kings.

It is an attribute to God himself.

And earthly power doth then show likest God’s

When mercy seasons justice.”

—William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

Hey, Justin1,

Here is some unsolicited advice that may just salvage your legacy from the legendary humiliation you are presently hurtling toward at 105 kilometers per hour.

I know it’s cozy in your bunker and it’s easier to sustain your delusions about the Canadian people from your propaganda-lined womb, but you can only feign COVID for so long—especially since you’ve partaken in the exceedingly safe and effective injections you’re so adamant about foisting on your subjects.

The jig is up, Justin.

It’s time to stop hiding.

It’s time to stop lying to the public. It’s time to stop lying through the press. It’s time to stop lying to yourself.

Justin Trudeau is a Bungler and Menace to His Nation, by Vasko Kohlmayer

Justin Trudeau hates those who are better than him, which means most of Canada. From Vasko Kohlmayer at lewrockwell.com:

At the beginning of January, Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, posted a message on Twitter in which he announced that he had just received his Covid vaccine booster and urged others to do likewise.

At the end of January, Justin Trudeau posted a message on Twitter in which he announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19.

Astoundingly, at the conclusion of his message Trudeau urged everyone to get the shots even though they failed to protect him from the disease. “Everyone, please get vaccinated and get boosted,” he insisted.

Trudeau’s message shows the depth of irrationality – bordering on insanity – to which many have fallen victim. We propose to call this phenomenon the Vaccine Insanity Syndrome (VIS). Those who suffer from VIS have largely lost touch with reality and things like common sense, evidence and logic no longer gain any traction in their thinking.

Trudeau Is Playing with Fire, by Lauren Rosen Cohen

Trudeau doubles down on stupidity and tyranny. From Lauren Rosen Cohen at brownstone.org:

Canadian coronavirus lockdown policies have been, and remain, some of the most stringent and restrictive in the entire Western world. It may be a Commonwealth thing, given that Australia and New Zealand have also descended into unrecognizable islands of cruel and capricious public health tyranny.

In Ontario, citizens are now allowed to eat popcorn at movie theaters that only opened up again earlier this week on Monday at fifty percent capacity, and only because of comprehensive drubbing that the government was subjected to regarding this ridiculous, make-believe public health directive.

Life in Canada has been tedious, tyrannical, and indescribably punitive. That is why for many months throughout the pandemic, ordinary Americans and pundits alike have been looking north from the land of the free (red states at least) and pretty much sneering at Canadians, bereft as they are of the First and Second Amendments. The polite Canadians, they scoffed, without their guns and their freedom of speech, were a lost cause.

And then one day, Prime Minister Trudeau pushed the nice Canadians a rule too far.

On January 15th, his minority government enacted a vaccine mandate for Canadian cross-border truckers – 80% of whom are already estimated to be vaccinated. So the truckers said the buck stops here. They quickly organized a grassroots campaign, set up a GoFundMe and sent a 40-mile long convoy to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. It’s not an anti-vaccine thing, it’s an anti-mandates thing. And though the media would claim it’s a racist thing, the organizers are a Jewish guy named Benjamin Dichter and a Metis woman named Tamara Lich. The mandates for truckers were the straw that broke the Canadians’ back. The Truckers For Freedom Convoy is now camped out in Ottawa, demanding an end to all vaccine mandates, and to restore Canadian freedoms.

Cowardly Trudeau Flees Home Amidst Convoy Protest, by Blueapples

At least 95 percent of politicians are through-and-through cowards. From Blueapples at zerohedge.com:

As Prime Minister of Canada, the “popular” Justin Trudeau (seen being pelted by rocks here) has led the charge ushering in some of the most restrictive measures in the world. In the mold of other former crown dependencies like New Zealand and Australia, doing anything in Canada without proof of vaccination is impossible. Everything from getting on domestic flight or entering a department store is verboten for the unvaxxed untermensch in Trudeau’s dystopian phantasmagoria.

Though the Prime Minister’s thirst for power has been insatiable with restriction after restriction being imposed by his heavy hand, leaving many Canadians feeling powerless, one group has risen against the tide. As a world-record convoy of over 2,700 trucks measuring 70 kilometers descended upon the Canadian capital finally arrived on Friday evening, Justin Trudeau exemplified his absolute lack of leadership as he couldn’t muster the courage to face the protest against the medical tyranny he has imposed. In the days preceding the convoy’s arrival in Ottawa, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that he would enter into self-isolation for five days as he had (gasp!) been exposed to COVID-19.

Justin Trudeau Ducks the Great Trucker Revolt, by Jeffrey Tucker

Justin Trudeau is cut from the same slime mold as most U.S. politicians. From Jeffrey Tucker at brownstone.org:

The resistance reveals itself always in unexpected ways. As I type, thousands of truckers (numbers are in flux and are in dispute) are part of a 50-mile-long convoy in Canada, headed to the capital city of Ottawa in protest against an egregious vaccine mandate imposed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They will be joined upon arrival by vast numbers of protestors who are defying the restrictions, closures, and mandates of the last nearly two years.

The triple-vaccinated Trudeau, meanwhile, has decided that he has to go into deep hiding because he was exposed to Covid. A clean, ruling-class, fit, and fashionable lefty like him cannot be expected to face such a pathogen directly. As a member of the vanguard of the lockdown elite, he must never take risks (however small) and must keep himself safe. It is merely a matter of coincidence that he will be locked away in hiding as the truckers arrive together with hundreds of thousands of citizens who are fed up with being treated like lab rats.

Previously, Trudeau had said nearly two years ago that the truckers were heroes. On March 31, 2020, he tweeted: “While many of us are working from home, there are others who aren’t able to do that – like the truck drivers who are working day and night to make sure our shelves are stocked. So when you can, please #ThankATrucker for everything they’re doing and help them however you can.”

It’s true. Like many “essential workers” in the US, these truckers bravely faced the virus and many already gained natural immunity, which Canadian law does not recognize. Trudeau decided that they needed to be forced to get the vaccine anyway. Keep in mind: these are the people who get food to the stores, packages to homes, and all products that keep life moving. If they don’t drive, the people don’t eat. It’s that simple. Now Trudeau must deal with #FreedomConvoy2022.

Canada: Shielded From the Populist Wave No Longer, by Benjamin L. Woodfinden

Justin Trudea, dashing progressive hero, may end up a goat if Canada’s seething populist discontent explodes. From Benjamin L. Woodfinded at The American Conservative via theburningplatform.com:

In the aftermath of the 2016 election and the rapid spread of populism around the globe, one country seemed immune: Canada. Justin Trudeau, the charismatic, dashing, and woke prime minister, sees himself as progressive liberalism’s leading light. But Canada is ripe for a populist revolt, and Trudeau may end up being its perfect catalyst.

Contrary to its mild-mannered international image, Canada has a long history of populism. Its upper crust are sometimes referred to as the “Laurentian elite.” Concentrated in downtown Toronto, Montréal, and Ottawa, these are Canada’s equivalent of East Coast elites. They dominate their country’s political, academic, cultural, media, and business institutions, and are ideologically homogeneous.
