In Defense of Tucker Carlson, by Andrew Napolitano

The NSA monitoring Tucker Carlson and Andrew Napolitano’s texts and emails and listening to their conversations without warrants or probable cause violates the Constitution, which each NSA employee has sworn to uphold. From Andrew Napolitano at lewrockwell.com:

In March 2017, I received a tip from a friend in the intelligence community that the British Government Communications Headquarters, or GCHQ — the United Kingdom’s domestic and foreign spies — had been asked by the CIA to spy on candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 U.S presidential election campaign. He elaborated that Trump’s claim that “someone tapped my wires” was essentially true. The tip was potentially explosive, so I ran it past two other friends in the intelligence community, and they confirmed it.

When I went public with this, all hell broke loose in my professional life. The British spies denied spying on Trump, who by now was the president of the United States. Former Obama administration folks denied asking the Brits to do this and denied that it was done.

I was accused of fabricating this so as to make Trump look good. The prime minister of the U.K. had one of her deputies call my bosses at Fox and demand that I recant what I had said or be fired. Fox asked me to lay low for 10 days, which I did, but Fox backed me when I explained the verifications conducted by my sources.

My source spoke to British agents who confirmed that their colleagues had spied on Trump.

When I went back on air, my colleague Bill Hemmer asked if I stood by my revelations. I told Bill that getting beaten up in the press is the price one occasionally pays for challenging those in power. Two months later, four GCHQ agents told The Guardian newspaper of London that my revelations were true, and my professional life returned to normal.

“That Was A Lie”: Tucker Carlson Levels Fauci After FOIA Emails Connect The Dots, by Tyler Durden

Anthony Fauci is getting raked over the coals. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson ripped “the utter fraudulence of Tony Fauci” Wednesday night, after BuzzFeed and the Washington Post obtained thousands of pages of emails through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, revealing that the nation’s top virologist was telling the public one thing, while furiously working on damage control and narrative-shaping as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded.

According to Carlson, Americans assumed “that the man in charge of protecting the US from COVID must be rational and impressive,” adding “We also assumed he must be honest. But we were wrong.

“It soon became clear that Tony Fauci was just another sleazy federal bureaucrat – deeply political and often dishonest. More shocking than that we then learned that Fauci himself was implicated in the very pandemic he’d been charged with fighting.”

Fauci supported the grotesque and dangerous experiments that appeared to have made COVID possible.” -Tucker Carlson

Fauci’s emails collectively show that “from the beginning, Tony Fauci was worried that the public might conclude COVID had originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

“Why would he be concerned that Americans would conclude that?” Tucker asked. “Possibly because Tony Fauci knew that he had funded gain-of-function experiments at that very same laboratory.

“The emails prove that Fauci lied about this under oath,” said Tucker, who highlighted an email from scientist Christian G. Anderson to Fauci, saying that he and his fellow scientists felt the virus looked ‘potentially’ engineered, and that members of his team “all find the genome inconsistent with expectations from evolutionary theory.”

Our Military Suffers Yet Another Defeat… This Time to Tucker Carlson, by Kurt Schlichter

Perhaps US military brass should spend less time fighting a TV commentator and more time worrying about enemies who might actually kill us. From Kurt Schlichter at theburningplatform.com:

Our Military Suffers Yet Another Defeat… This Time to Tucker Carlson

Here’s a fun fact: Tucker Carlson, over whom a bunch of senior military officers tossed 240 years of non-partisanship out the window in order to chide for pointing out their myriad failures, has won just as many wars as our generals have during the last twenty years. He has also lost fewer wars.

So, basically, Tucker Carlson – who they lambaste for being like the other ~92 percent of Americans who were never in uniform – would have done less damage running our formerly indomitable military than the perfumed princes who run it now. Yet these generals and senior NCOs who got and internalized the SJW memo are utterly clueless. They are more engaged and interested in fighting TV hosts who embarrass them by exposing their failures, and snipe hunting for mystery extremist boogeymen in the ranks, than in preparing to defeat China in high-intensity conventional combat.

Let’s get beyond their utter breach of tradition, and their unpunished breaking of the regulations banning political activity in uniform in general and information operation targeting of U.S. citizens in particular. Let’s instead focus on how crummy a job these generals and senior sergeants and their eager minions did doing it. They completely misunderstood the battlespace.

They thought that all those Gallup polls listing “The Military” as America’s most respected institution would allow them to use their titles and uniforms and stuff leverage the support of the American people against this uppity pundit. But they totally failed, as usual. Citizens were outraged. Vets were livid – especially since we vets would have been handed our walking papers for this kind of garbage in our day.

The Pentagon’s Fight With Tucker Carlson Proves It Doesn’t Even Exist To Win Wars Anymore, from Revolver

The Pentagon is more concerned with politics, political correctness, and PR than with mundane things like military preparedness and combat effectiveness. From revolver.news:

ucker Carlson may have never served in the armed forces, but he’s still decisively winning a PR war against the U.S. military. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, of course. The U.S. military loses most of the wars it fights these days.

During America’s long golden age as a country, the military typically abstained from politics and won wars. But in the decaying Globalist American Empire, the military plays a very different role. Protecting America and winning conflicts isn’t the military’s goal at all. Instead, the armed forces have become a skinsuit. This once-great institution has been repurposed into a vehicle for globalist and left-wing domestic political goals.

The clash between Carlson and the DoD began on Monday. In remarks delivered for the Communist holiday of International Women’s Day, Biden boasted of how he and President Obama had worked to make the military a fully gender-neutral body:

I’m incredibly proud that in 2015, under the Obama-Biden administration, we took the final steps to open up all positions in the military to anyone qualified to serve in them. The women who join today’s military aren’t told “no” when they apply to fly fighter jets or attack helicopters just because of their gender. They aren’t told “no” when they want to apply to Ranger School or infantry officer basic training. [White House]

Biden bragged that it is easier than ever for pregnant women, and women who care about their appearance, to serve in the armed forces.

Tucker: We heard you. It’s hard to trust anything. Here’s what we know.

After Peddling Trump-Russia Hit-Pieces Before 2016 Election – MSM Totally Ignores Bobulinski Bombshells On Bidens, by Tyler Durden

No surprise here. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

The mainstream media is silent following an explosive Tuesday night interview with Tony Bobulinski, a former Naval veteran of 20 years who provided text, email, and anecdotal evidence that he was brought in by the Biden family to manage a venture with a CCP-linked Chinese entity, and that they concealed Joe Biden’s involvement.

“Why on 10:38 on the night of May 2 [2017] would Joe Biden take time out of his schedule to take time with me, behind a column so people could not see us, to have a discussion with his family and my family and business at a very high level?” Bobulinski asked host Tucker Carlson.

And just 11 days after that clandestine 2017 meeting with Joe, an email was sent regarding ‘remuneration packages’ for six individuals – which included a proposed equity split of “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy.”

When Bobulinski asked Joe Biden’s brother why they weren’t concerned about the political or headline risk involved in case Joe Biden decided to run for office in the future, Jim Biden replied “plausible deniability.

And when Bobulinski was threatening to go public with this information after Rep. Adam Schiff smeared him as a Russian asset, Biden family representative Rob Walker told Bobulinski “You’re just gonna bury all of us.

And the MSM won’t cover any of this. Nevermind that Joe Biden lied in 2019 when he said that he ‘never talked to Hunter about his business.’ This is the same constellation of news organizations which was happy to peddle unfounded rumors about then-candidate Donald Trump’s nonexistent relationship with Russia, before the 2016 election.

Under the Media’s Berlin Wall of Truth Suppression, by Frank Miele

You are absolutely never going to know what’s going on if you ignore the alternative media. Tucker Carlson may be the only figure in the mainstream media who will give you the straight story, and his ratings reflect that. From Frank Miele at realclearpolitics.com:

Under the Media's Berlin Wall of Truth Suppression

“So are we really surprised that looting and arson accelerated to murder? How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would?” (AP Photo/Richard Drew, File)

You would think that with the miracle of modern technology and the insistence on transparency in government affairs, it would be possible for both the American people and the American president to share the same baseline on certain important facts.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t take account of the role of the mainstream media as the self-appointed protectors of the people. The press can promote any agenda they choose and destroy any person who gets out of line. Needless to say, Donald Trump gets “out of line” every day — he marches to the beat of his own drummer, as Thoreau said, and the press can’t stand it. So they engage in a near constant attack to destroy him and his presidency.

Jeffrey Goldberg’s reliance on unverified anonymous sources for his Atlantic hit piece accusing the president of being disdainful of slain American soldiers by calling them “losers” and “suckers” is a typical tactic. The media exploit and exacerbate public misperceptions of Trump that they themselves planted in the first place. Did Trump call John McCain a loser? Undoubtedly. Has he ridiculed the generals who have gotten us into forever wars that have cost the lives of thousands of American soldiers? Yes, frequently. But is there any evidence he said the things Goldberg alleges? Yeah, the testimony of five sources so brave they won’t go on the record with their complaints — claims that have been refuted by 19 real people with real names who were actually with the president in France when the alleged incidents occurred.

Tucker Carlson Eclipses Competition As Ratings Go Through The Roof, by Tyler Durden

Tucker Carlson has more balls than anyone else in the mainstream media (any balls would be more than most). It’s good to see his ratings are taking off. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

Tucker Carlson is absolutely crushing it.

The Fox News host has surpassed Sean Hannity as the most-watched host in all of cable news, ending last week with an average total audience of four million viewers, according to Nielson (via Forbes).

Hannity trailed Carlson by 3.9 million viewers, followed by host Laura Ingraham with 3.5 million.

Carlson’s winning streak continued on Monday with 4.2 million viewers, followed by Hannity at 3.7 million and Ingraham at 3.1 million.

The Fact That Americans Need To Be Deceived Into War Proves Their Underlying Goodness, by Caitlin Johnstone

You can’t fool all the people all the time. From Caitlin Johnstone at caitlinjohnstone.com:

Last night Fox’s Tucker Carlson praised Trump’s decision not to go forward with a planned attack against Iran which the president claims would have killed approximately 150 people in response to a downed drone, which if true would have been a profoundly barbaric response to a broken toy plane and would have led to retaliations from Iran, followed by a chain of military actions which could have escalated God knows how far.

Carlson, who has been credited with persuading Trump against further military escalations with Iran, lit into the neoconservative elements of Trump’s cabinet with unprecedented viciousness. He called National Security Advisor John Bolton a “bureaucratic tapeworm” who never suffers any consequences for his relentless warmongering and accusing him and his collaborators of deliberately engineering a provocation to lead to direct military confrontation. Carlson urged Trump to expunge the influencers who are pushing for a war with Iran, and cautioned that it would cost him re-election.

“Bombing Iran would have ended [Trump’s] political career in a minute,” Carlson said. “There’d be no chance of re-election after that.”

Carlson’s first guest, The American Conservative‘s Robert Merry, plainly stated the likely reason for Bolton’s deceitful manipulations, saying that Americans are typically reluctant to go to war and citing a few of the historical instances in which they were tricked into consenting to it by those who desire mass military violence.
