A plea for logic and morality, from James Kullander at lewrockwell.com:
I want to write to you now about loss. Not simple loss, which indeed exists. One can say: “I’ve lost the key to my car.” This is unfortunate if not inconvenient but nothing to grieve. I want to write about difficult loss, indistinct loss, ambiguous loss. A loss I can’t quite put my finger on. And yet it’s there, inside me day and night, what a phantom limb might feel like.
This letter is going to be longer than my first and second letters because I’ve a lot to say about things I never thought I would say.
You are not the only friend with whom I feel a yawning abyss growing between us on account of this massive, orchestrated human calamity. There are others, like you and me, because we happen to disagree on what’s been happening in our world the past two years. One friend—or former friend—looks right past me whenever we happen to run into each other in our town’s small post office. Another, on his afternoon walk, marches to the other side of the street when he passes my house. These are both people I used to host for meals in my house or for a lovely summer evening glass of wine on my patio. There’s another who, on my Facebook page, called me “an old man spewing conspiracy theories.” (She is wrong on both counts, by the way.) There’s yet another and her husband with whom my girlfriend and I would have dinner out once or twice a year. Last December, I emailed her to suggest we get together soon; it had been two year since we’d last met up. She wrote back to say “we’re not getting together with friends who aren’t vaccinated, definitely not indoors.”
And there’s you, who, because you know I’ve not gotten the jabs and never will, disinvited me to your wedding and disallowed me the opportunity to finally meet your fiancé because of your persistent and naïve belief that the unvaccinated are somehow going to spread the virus more than you and others who’ve gotten the jabs. This is a complete lie spread by the despots driving the world into the ground while they rake in billions of dollars to feather their ludicrously opulent nests. Word is out, loud and clear for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, that not only are the injections not effective against COVID-19 but they’re also driving an increase in infections.
In other words, the vaccinated are infecting each other. Reports are coming in from around the world that COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths are skyrocketing in countries with the highest vaccination rates, including Australia, Israel, and Scotland. Israel now has the highest case rate per capita of any country in the world since the beginning of the so-called pandemic. The reason? Government data suggests people who have gotten at least two jabs are now showing signs of serious immune system degradation. There’s also evidence that “all-cause” mortality, or deaths of all causes, is spiking in countries with heavy vaccine compliance. In spite of this, in many countries around the world—including here in the States—the injections continue to be touted as being safe and effective. In a world where reason and logic prevail, no one in his right mind would be saying this. Or say it and get away with it.
