The World Economic Forum’s ‘AI Enslavement’ is Coming for YOU! By J.B. Shurk

The lives of you and your children will be the fodder for a “sustainable” future. From J.B. Shurk at gatestoneinstitute.org:

[F]or every peaceful religious community seeking separation from modern civilization, there is a power-hungry tyrant seeking to impose his will upon everyone else.

Although the World Economic Forum (WEF) has spent the last 50 years organizing conferences, publishing policy proposals, and connecting global leaders in industry, banking, information technology, intelligence gathering, military strategy and politics, its mission objective is remarkably simple: the smartest, best people in the world should rule everyone else.

The WEF is nothing new. Its foundations have been around at least since the time of Plato, when two and a half millennia ago the Greek philosopher proposed that the ideal city-state would be ruled by “philosopher kings.” Just as Plato surveyed the world and predictably concluded that people from his own vocation should logically govern everyone else, the World Economic Forum’s global “elites” have come to a strikingly similar determination…. to no-one’s surprise, those same “philosopher kings” have nominated themselves to do the ruling. How convenient.

Should [Klaus Schwab] and the WEF clan pull it off, they will do so by using technology to enfeeble, rather than empower, the human race. Already, people have become familiar with the new terms of their future enslavement. Central bank digital currencies will allow governments not only to track every citizen’s income and purchase history in real time but also to limit what a person may spend depending upon government-determined social credit scores, perceived infractions of the “common good,” or perhaps unfair possession of “systemic privilege.”

A “Corrupt Circle-Jerk…” Of “Select Human Beings” – Did Davos Just Reach ‘Peak Creepy’? By Tyler Durden

It’s hard to see how Davos can get any creepier, but these clowns keep taking it to the next level. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

With the World Economic Forum in Davos in full swing, and media muppets suggesting that things like the forum’s “Great Reset’, banning gas stoves, and eating bugs are nothing more than conspiracy theories cooked up by conservatives, it seems that the national media – both large and small, is now fixated on the event in order to take cues from the world’s increasingly insane ‘elite.’

Former New York Times editor Jill Abramson suggested that the event – which was previously given little coverage by the ‘paper of record,’ was – and  is, “a corrupt circle-jerk.”

“I noticed (after I was gone), much more ‘news’ coverage in the Times of Davos, quoting the attendees and speakers at those endless panels. Of course, the coverage was a sweetener to flatter the CEOs by seeing their names in the NYT so that they would then speak at high-dollar NYT conferences and – of course – get phony news stories from the conferences into the paper.”

“It was — and is, a corrupt circle jerk,” Abramson told Semafor EIC (“Buzzfeed”) Ben Smith.

And while the WEF has tamped down prognostications involving bug-eating and banning gas stoves, it’s still extremely creepy.

As Michael Snyder suggests in The Most Important News, Davos may have even reached “peak creepy.”

2023: The ABC’s of CBDC, the Great Reset(s) & MORE Centralized Control, by Matthew Piepenburg

Countries that are suffering from an excess of centralized control usually double down with more control. From Matthew Piepenburg at goldswitzerland.com:

If you want to understand modern CBDC, it may be worth considering the context of history, the philosophy of man, the math of debt and the geology of gold.

Broke Countries Do Bad Things

When broken, debt-soaked “developed economies” suffering from years of fantasy money printing to “solve” fatally rising debt levels collide with history-blind and economically-ignorant policy makers, the end result is always the same: Liberty sinks, currencies die and control rises.

This is not sensationalism, but the toxic evolution of economic, political and psychological patterns seen throughout time.

Sadly, our “times” (as well as the global abundance/convergence of weak leadership) are no exception.

Or stated more simply, inept financial and political leadership leads to even more dangerous financial opportunists and tyrannical policies masquerading as efficient solutions.

Toward this end, the evidence is literally everywhere—left, right and center.

The Inevitable Klaus Schwab-Type

Nowhere is such will-to-power opportunism and fantasy (i.e., centralized) solutions more exemplified than in the so-called “Great Reset” authored by the head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab.

Why it isn’t mad to oppose the World Economic Forum, by Samuel Gregg

It isn’t mad to oppose an organization that wants to destroy what’s left of your freedom and ruin your life. From Samuel Gregg at spectator.co.uk:

Klaus Schwab (photo: Getty)

The World Economic Forum (WEF) and its long-serving founder and Executive Chairman, Professor Klaus Schwab, are the subjects of many insane conspiracy theories. This NGO, which again this January will bring together politicians, business leaders, journalists, academics, and assorted celebrities in Davos, has been accused, among other things, of being a secret cabal of paedophiles who used the Covid-19 pandemic to harvest children’s blood so as to hasten in a Satanic New World Order.

It isn’t mad, however, to regard the WEF as a dangerous force in global politics. The WEF is a dangerous force in global politics. To adapt Joseph Heller, just because you are paranoid, doesn’t mean the WEF isn’t after you. A shared distrust of the WEF brings together anti-capitalists on the left and culture-warriors on the right. But that distrust is based on a misunderstanding of what the WEF is these days really all about.

For many WEF critics, the vileness of the organisation can be encapsulated in one word: ‘neoliberalism.’ It’s a term that conjures up images of plutocrats and untrammelled markets ravaging the planet and exploiting blue-collar folk in the name of profit. Funnily enough, Chairman Schwab agrees with that assessment of the world’s ills. Once upon a time, the WEF prioritised the necessity and benefits of economic globalisation. That has not been the case for many years, however. In October 2020, Schwab stated that:

[S]hibboleths of our global economic system will need to be re-evaluated with an open mind. Chief among these is the neoliberal ideology. Free-market fundamentalism has eroded worker rights and economic security, triggered a deregulatory race to the bottom and ruinous tax competition.

Precisely how and where ‘free-market fundamentalism’ has run amuck remains a mystery. After all, we live in a world in which most governments in developed nations routinely control 40 per cent or more of their nation’s GDP.

The mask is off: WEF’s Klaus Schwab declares China a ‘role model’, by Monica Showalter

If China is so great, why is nobody trying to get in? From Monica Showalter at americanthinker.com:

Once upon a time, the Soviets had a tightly controlled network of internationalists known as the COMINTERN to promote their communist model to Europe and beyond.

As it stands now, the Red Chinese have gone them one better: They’ve got Klaus Schwab.

According to Fox News:

World Economic Forum founder and Chair Klaus Schwab recently sat down for an interview with a Chinese state media outlet and proclaimed that China was a “role model” for other nations.

Schwab, 84, made these comments during an interview with CGTN’s Tian Wei on the sidelines of last week’s APEC CEO Summit in Bangkok, Thailand.

Schwab said he respected China’s “tremendous” achievements at modernizing its economy over the last 40 years.

“I think it’s a role model for many countries,” Schwab said, before qualifying that he thinks each country should make its own decisions about what system it wants to adapt.

Doug Casey on the World Economic Forum’s Plan for Mankind and What Comes Next

Doug Casey through all the World Economic Forum’s bullshit and clearly maps out what our overlords have in store for us. From Casey at internationalman.com:

World Economic Forum

International Man: The World Economic Forum (WEF) describes its mission as the “international organization for public-private cooperation.”

What do you make of the WEF and the power it wields?

Doug Casey: “International organization for public-private cooperation” is a code phrase for economic fascism—which is to say, the hand-in-glove melding of the political power of the State with the economic power of corporations.

Things like the WEF, and other NGOs (non-governmental organizations), institutes, and think tanks, have proliferated in recent years. They’re almost all destructive parasites on productive society.

Almost all of them are leftist, statist, and collectivist in orientation. They’re typically populated by intellectuals and academics and funded by tax-exempt foundations, usually set up by elderly do-gooders interested in leaving a “legacy.”

The WEF is by far the most successful of the breed. Instead of just cadging donations so intellectuals could hang around and seem prestigious, in 1971, Klaus Schwab formed a club where the rich and powerful could discuss ideas with other members of the overlord class. Political and financial types could find a philosophical home, disguising the quest for money and power with a patina of benevolence. It’s become an amazingly large and powerful organization. They have roughly 800 full-time employees, most of them very highly paid. They have an annual budget of over $300 million. Their balance sheet indicates that the WEF is worth over $1 billion, funded by major corporations who give it millions of dollars, as do various governments. Most of the world’s political leaders and corporations are members.

Schwab was very clever to have put together an organization where the richest, most powerful, and most influential people in the world are charged huge amounts to be introduced to each other and talk about how they can become even richer, more powerful, and more influential.

Letter to Klaus Schwab, by Margaret Anna Alice

If you really want insight into the minds of those who would rule us, read what they’ve written. From Margaret Anna Alice at margaretannaalice.substack.com:

This letter was originally published as a guest post at Coffee & COVID, a hysterical, informative, and action-oriented daily news roundup that is on my top-ten list of must-follow Substacks. I was deeply honored when attorney Jeff Childers told me he was reaching out to Substackers he admired to guest-blog for him while he was kicking tyrannical butt in trial, and I proudly joined Tessa Lena in stepping into Jeff’s unfillable shoes. He gave me a choice of three topics, one of which was “A Letter to Klaus Schwab,” so how could I resist an opportunity to add this enticing entry to my Letters series? Thank you for the invitation and inspiration, Jeff! 🙏

Letter to Klaus Schwab: Industrialist on a Huge Pile of Coins Looking Through a Telescope

I know how much you like playing super-villain, Klaus, but you’re really more of a mediocre-villain. C+ at best. Sorry to break it to you.

No matter how hard I try, I can’t summon terror, rage, or even disgust when I behold your dopey, dull, doltish demeanor. The most I can muster is pity. And cringe. Lots and lots of cringe.

Fawning over Henry Kissinger, for example. Like a tongue-tied seventh-grader crushing on a rock star backstage, you tumble over yer verds, a goofy smile frozen on your flushed face as you bat your eyelashes at your dreamy guru.

The Terrifying Vacuity of Klaus Schwab, by eugyppius

How many people realize they are being led down a Great Reset primrose path by a complete idiot? From eugyppius at eugyppius.com:

Like many bad books, The Great Reset lapses into occasional inadvertent autobiography. In the final pages especially, where Klaus Schwab writes of his hopes for a “Personal Reset” through state repression, we catch a glimpse of the man during the first-wave lockdown at his house in Cologny. At first he enjoyed the break with routine and the opportunity to commune with nature, but before long he began to feel a nagging unease. He’d spent most of his years prior to 2020 flogging “stakeholder capitalism”, his umbrella term for various schemes to disarm criticism of the globalist corporate borg and co-opt leftist opposition. Schwab succeeded in parlaying his simplistic ideas into an international conference circuit, known today as the World Economic Forum, where he could hobnob with corporate and political celebrities and burnish his Bond-villain reputation among political dissidents. But the pandemic had thrown Schwab off balance. For once his reprocessed nostrums about environmental, social and corporate governance issues were no longer in demand; virologists and epidemiologists and exponential growth curves filled the news instead. His powerful celebrity clients were suddenly listening to other people. Obscurity loomed.

Thus Schwab enlisted his sidekick research-assistant Thierry Malleret, booted up his laptop, and spent a few months decanting the cloud of buzzwords, talking points and half-remembered powerpoint presentations plaguing his brain into a meandering and thoroughly pointless document. When he had finished, he sent the whole thing to Malleret’s wife for a proof-read, and then he ordered his own Forum Press to print off a few thousand copies. Thus did yet another lamentable exercise in self-publishing come to pass.

The Kissinger Continuum: The Unauthorized History of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders Program, by Johnny Vedmore

Henry Kissinger, Klaus Schwab, and the CIA are responsible for a lot of the men and women who are screwing up the world. From Johnny Vedmore at 2ndsmartestguyinthe world.com:

The World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders program, Klaus Schwab’s supposed brainchild, is actually an almost exact replica of Henry Kissinger’s International Seminar that was originally run out of Harvard and was funded by the CIA. In this article, Johnny Vedmore investigates the people behind Kissinger’s International Seminar, the CIA conduits which funded the program, and Kissinger’s key role in the creation of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders program itself.

The World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders (YGL) initiative has been responsible for seeding many of the ruling elite into positions of power and influence within the worlds of business, civil society and, most importantly, politics. The fall of the Soviet Union soon became the apparent catalyst for the creation of the Global Leaders for Tomorrow program, which was the precursor to the Young Global Leaders initiative over a decade later.

However, the supposed mastermind of the project, the WEF’s lifetime leader Klaus Schwab, had himself already been helped into his own influential position by a very similar program run out of Harvard University that was heavily funded by the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The Harvard initiative in question, often referred to as Henry Kissinger’s International Seminar, was one of several programs set up by senior members of organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the newly created CIA. In fact, during the post-World War II era, the United States was proactively creating many such programs with the intention of grooming potential young foreign leaders and installing them into positions of power. The main motive behind the establishment of these programs was ostensibly to combat and prevent communist infiltration of foreign states while also assuring that future global leaders would be amenable to US interests.

The New Underworld Order: Did The KGB Fake The Soviet Collapse? By The 2nd Smartest Guy in the World

The title’s provocative question leads to an elaborate but plausible hypothesis. From the 2nd Smartest Guy in the World at 2ndsmartestguyintheworld.substack.com:

Communism did not die. It went underground.

What if Klaus Schwab is nothing more than a communist agent?

What if the WEF is simply a Soviet agency department that was put front and center to advance global communism 2.0?

What if the KGB rebranded itself FSB and merged with the CIA and other intelligence services as well as international criminal underworld syndicates?

We know that the Manchurian Candidate Barack Hussein Obama is a lifelong communist that was groomed by a certifiable domestic terrorist and self avowed communist in Bill Ayers. We know that Ayers was given safe passage by the CIA to set up his community (dis)organizing organization in the Chicago ghettos where the CIA creation Obama received his finishing school “education.”

We know that 9/11 ushered in the unconstitutional and grossly unpatriotic The Patriot Act as well as the Department of Homeland Security which was and continues to be the perfect example of hyper-centralization.

In fact, today the foreign nation of Washington, D.C. is nothing more than a metastasizing hyper-centralization governance aberration, representing the truest essence of communism.

We know that Saddam Hussein was a CIA asset that was embedded by his “Central” Intelligence Agent handlers as the president of Iraq in order to maintain the criminal networks operating in the Middle East and elsewhere. And we also know that Hussein’s (not Barack) military technology was exclusively Soviet Union supplied, even as he was working for the CIA. No real attempt was ever made to rearm the Iraqi army, which was for most of Hussein’s reign a US ally, with American weaponry.
