The Most Important Tucker Carlson Segment To Date: Nixon, Ford and the Deep State, by 2nd Smartest Guy in the World

Consider one fact: Richard Nixon’s vice president after Spiro Agnew resigned was Gerald Ford, who just happened to be a member of the Warren Commission. From the 2nd Smartest Guy in the World at 2ndsmartestguyintheworld.substack.com:

The 2020 stolen election installed a senile diaper soiling ice cream eating pedo criminal puppet to both demoralize and further destroy America.

George H. W. Bush was the former CIA director that was installed as president, who in turn selected his replacements in CIA drug runner Bill Clinton, his idiot son George W. Bush, and the Deep State’s pièce de résistance in Manchurian Candidate and CIA creation Barack Hussein Obama.

Richard Nixon remains to this very day the most popular president in American history. He was elected by a true landslide. From the very beginning of his presidency, Nixon was very much against the Deep State. He was, for all intents and purposes, the antithesis of a Joe Biden. Some recent research points to the fact that Nixon wanted to share advanced (off-world) technology that would have given the world free energy, and his détente with China as well as his mistrust of the CIA were enough reason for the Deep State to utterly destroy him. Which is why the Uniparty of Nixon’s time forced upon his campaign a lifelong bureaucrat and swamp creature in Gerald Ford to be his vice president: it was the ultimate insurance policy in case Nixon had become too unruly. And when Nixon did in fact become his own man, the Deep State contingency plan went into full effect: the CIA-handled Mockingbird MSM began to spin stories of the Watergate scandal all while conveniently leaving out the fact that four members of the break-in team were on the CIA payroll, and that Nixon was completely unaware of the operation. When the Deep State negotiated Nixon’s resignation, with Nixon leveraging his safety by reminding his enemies that he knew who murdered JFK, the first unelected president of the United States was conveniently installed.

JOHN KIRIAKOU: GOP Has Not Created a New Church Committee

The Select Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government would have to have virtually unlimited time and resources to do a respectable job. It would also have to be relentlessly bipartisan and relentlessly attack Washington sacred cows. Don’t expect any of that from the new subcommittee. From John Kiriakou at consortiumnews.com:

f U.S. Congress is going to form a special subcommittee looking at government overreach and illegality, then it should do exactly that.

“F.B.I. Watching,” Washington, D.C., Jan, 18, 2009. (manuel, CC BY-SA 2.0, Wikimedia Commons)

House Republicans last week announced that they would quickly create a special committee that they referred to as the Church Committee II.  Formally, they named it the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.  The subcommittee was created on a straight party-line vote:  All 221 Republicans voted in favor while all 211 Democrats were opposed.

It will be chaired by far-right Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, the former wrestling coach at Ohio State University whom six former wrestlers accused of doing nothing to help them, despite the fact that he knew they were being molested by the team doctor.  Jordan is also the incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee; in one of life’s ironies, despite graduating from an obscure law school in central Ohio, he never bothered to take the bar exam.

House Republicans, upon creation of the subcommittee, said that it would be responsible for a “wide-ranging investigation into federal law enforcement and national security agencies.”  But in private conversations, these same Republicans said that they would “use their new power in Congress to scrutinize what they said was a concerted effort by the government to silence and punish conservatives at all levels, from protestors at school board meetings to former President Donald J. Trump,” according to The New York Times.

The Age of Exterminations: How to Kill a Few Billion People, by Ugo Bardi

Kill one person and you’re a murderer. Kill a few million and you’re a head of state. Kill a few billion and you’re a philanthropic benefactor of humanity. From Ugo Bardi at senecaeffect.com:

Bill Gates has been accused of having publicly declared (*) his intention to exterminate billions of people in order to reduce overpopulation. It is not true; Gates never said anything like that. Unfortunately, though, that doesn’t mean we can rule out that some powerful elites are actually planning mass exterminations. It has already happened in the past, there is no reason to think that it won’t happen again. The problem is not with overpopulation itself, but with the concept of “utilitarianism” that empowers the elites to take action without being bound to moral principles. We saw it happening with the Covid pandemic. We must rethink our implicit assumptions if we want to avoid even worse disasters in the future.

With 8 billion people alive on Earth, it is reasonable to believe that the planet is becoming a little crowded and that life would be better for everyone if there weren’t so many people around. But we should not neglect the opposite opinion: that we have resources and technologies sufficient to keep 8 billion people alive and reasonably happy, and perhaps even more. Neither position can be proven, nor disproven. The future will tell us who was right but, in the meantime, it is perfectly legitimate to discuss this subject.

The problem is that we don’t have a discussion on population: we have a clash of absolutes. The position that sees overpopulation as a problem has been thoroughly demonized over the past decades and, still today, you cannot even mention the subject without being immediately branded as a would-be exterminator. It happened to Bill Gates, to the Club of Rome, and to many others who dared mention the forbidden term “overpopulation.”

The demonization is, of course, a knee-jerk reaction: the people who propose population planning would be simply horrified at being accused of supporting mass exterminations. But note that there is a real problem, here. Exterminations DID happen in the recent past, and they were carried out largely on the basis of a perceived overpopulation problem. During the Nazi era in Germany, the idea that Europe was overpopulated was common and it was widely believed that the “Lebensraum, the living space,” available was insufficient for the German people. The result was a series of exterminations correctly considered the most heinous crimes in human history.

All Quiet (Panic) on the Western Front, by Pepe Escobar

If the World Economic Forum is the best of the West, the West doesn’t stand a chance against the emerging multipolar order. From Pepe Escobar at unz.com:

Shadows are falling / And I’ve been here all day / It’s too hot to sleep / And time is running away / Feel like my soul / has turned into steel /I’ve still got the scars / That the sun didn’t heal / There’s not even room enough / To be anywhere / Lord it’s not dark yet, / but it’s getting there

Bob Dylan, Not Dark Yet

Lights! Action! Reset!

The World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Davos Freak Show is back in business on Monday.

The mainstream media of the collective West, in unison, will be spinning non-stop, for a week, all the “news” that are fit to print to extol new declinations of The Great Reset, re-baptized The Great Narrative, but actually framed as a benign offer by “stakeholder capitalism”. These are the main planks of the shady platform of a shady NGO registered in Cologny, a tony Geneva suburb.

The list of Davos attendees was duly leaked. Proverbially, it’s an Anglo-American Exceptionalist fun fest, complete with intel honchos such as the US Director of National Intelligence, Avril “Madam Torture” Haines; the head of MI6 Richard Moore; and FBI director Christopher Wray.

Remixed Diderot and D’Alembert Encyclopedias could be written about the Davos pathology – where a hefty list of multibillionaires, heads of state and corporate darlings (owned by BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street and co.) “engage” in selling Demented Dystopia packages to the unsuspecting masses.

But let’s cut to the chase and focus on a few panels next week – which could easily be mistaken for Straight to Hell sessions.

The Tuesday, January 17 list is particularly engaging. It features a “De-Globalization or Re-Globalization?” panel with speakers Ian Bremmer, Adam Tooze, Niall Ferguson, Péter Szijjártó and Ngaire Woods. Three Atlanticists/Exceptionalists stand out, especially the ultra-toxic Ferguson.

Against the Tide, by James Howard Kunstler

So many crooks, so little time. Who do you go after first? From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

“These days, when they say something is ‘very unlikely,’ that is wokecabulary for, ‘it’s almost certainly true’.” — Jeff Childers (the Coffee with Covid blog)

So many calamities, quandaries, and mysteries swirl in the zeitgeist these days that life in the USA feels like swimming against a rising tide of poisoned guacamole. Nothing has been able to stop that green spewage from the political Left, especially as it desecrates our very language to turn everything up, down, and everything inside, outside. You end up drowning the consensus about reality under the muck. Now, finally, there are political forces gathering to oppose all this deliberate malice and deceit and they will need something like a fire-hose to clean the joint up.

The outstanding feature of this political illness has been the utter lack of accountability for gross insults against the public interest — that is, things that really matter. As Congresswoman Ilhan Omar once put it so obliquely, “some people did some things.” Yes, people are at the bottom of all this mischief against the country and none of them have had to answer for any of it yet. Will it matter if they do? It may not correct all the disasters of recent past years, but it may prevent more disasters ahead as the nation struggles with epic changes to the business model for running everything in this land. Some people will have to do a lot of things to straighten out our agenda.

Why Was Hunter Paying Joe Biden $50k Per Month To Rent House Where Classified Documents Found? by Tyler Durden

There is just no aboveboard answer as to why Hunter was paying dad 50 grand a month when the rent should have been, at most, around $6,000 a month. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

A Thursday tweet from the NY Post‘s Miranda Devine containing a background check for Hunter Biden has people asking questions.

“The now-52-year-old began listing the Wilmington home as his address following his 2017 divorce from ex-wife Kathleen Buhle — even falsely claiming he owned the property on a July 2018 background check form as part of a rental application,” the Post reported.

Of note, this is the same house where classified documents were found.

Yet, upon closer inspection, Hunter lists the “Monthly Rent” as $49,910 – or roughly $550,000 for the 11 months he indicated he lived there?

A Zillow search reveals that the most expensive home currently for rent in Wilmington, Delaware is going for $6,000 per month.

According to Town & Country magazine, Biden’s home is worth around $2 million.

Could Hunter, a crackhead, have accidentally listed the annual rent payment to his father for the house which contained classified documents? Sure. But why was his wealthy ex-VP dad charging him rent in the first place, when Hunter was allegedly broke?

Trending Politics asks the quiet part out loud; was this Hunter’s way of funneling money to his father?

Night of January 6th, by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

January 6th was the sole expression of popular outrage concerning a stolen election. It was trivial compared to say, the George Floyd riots. Why have the January 6 protestors been so relentlessly pursued while few if any of the George Floyd rioters have even been prosecuted. From Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr. at lewrockwell.com:

The so-called “Justice” Department has acted with draconian severity against the entirely legal demonstrators of January 6th , who were protesting the illegal election of brain-dead Joe Biden, in the face of substantial evidence the election had been stolen from President Donald Trump. The right to petition the government is guaranteed by the First Amendment, but this has not stopped Merrick Garland from a wave of prosecutions, and more such actions are planned. As if this were not enough the report of the Committee to Investigate the January 6th demonstrations has released the social security numbers of 2000 people who visited President Trump in December 2020, just before the protests,  exposing them to threats and violence.

Let’s look at what has happened. Here is a story from the New York Times, but remember when you read it, that this paper cannot report news objectively but insists on the Left line: “The investigation into the storming of the Capitol is, by any measure, the biggest criminal inquiry in the Justice Department’s 153-year history.

And even two years after Jan. 6, 2021, it is only getting bigger.

In chasing leads and making arrests, federal agents have already seized hundreds of cellphones, questioned thousands of witnesses and followed up on tens of thousands of tips in an exhaustive process that has resulted so far in more than 900 arrests from Maine to California.

Top 20 Most Cringeworthy Zelensky PR Moments, by Caitlin Johnstone

There are so many to choose from. Caitlin Johnstone has chosen 20, although she seems to be missing #4. From Johnstone at caitlinjohnstone.com:

The US empire’s proxy war in Ukraine has had many jaw-dropping instances of imperialist sociopathy, propagandistic audacity and brazen journalistic malpractice that we’ve discussed in this space many times, but one of the most cringeworthy and degrading aspects of the globe-spanning narrative control campaign surrounding this war has been the way the nation’s president Volodymyr Zelensky has been turned into an ever-present corporate mascot for the most aggressive ad campaign ever devised. The way the most powerful institutions in the western world have been throwing their puppet in everyone’s face to sell the empire’s proxy warfare puts Ronald McDonald to shame.

Here are 20 of the cringiest moments of establishment PR using Zelensky to market the McProxy War to the western world, in no particular order.

1. A House Republican introducing a bill to place a bust of Zelensky in the US Capitol building

Antiwar’s Dave DeCamp writes:

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) introduced a bill this week that would place a bust of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the House wing of the US Capitol building, an idea that was strongly criticized by more conservative GOP members.

Things We Should Understand: The Aristocracy Is Eating the Peasants, by John Rubino

It is without a doubt the biggest scam in history, what the aristocracy has going with the U.S. government. From John Rubino at rubino.substack.com:

Most people (especially most Americans) still seem to view the events of the past half-century as more or less random. Booms and busts erupting out of nowhere, impoverishing all but a handful of lucky elites. Political crises that end up dividing rather than uniting. Wars that cost fortunes and resolve nothing. Everything is bad, and nothing is related to anything else.

But of course that’s not true. Each of the above events serves the same purpose: to enrich a modern aristocracy at the expense of everyone else. And the endgame is looking even worse.

To see the scam play out, let’s go back to 1995. Two decades previously, in 1971, the US and by extension the world had ditched sound, gold-backed money in favor of “fiat” currencies that their governments, via their central banks, could create in infinite quantities out of thin air. The result was spiking inflation and exchange rate chaos in the 1970s and soaring government deficits in the 1980s.

By the 1990s it had become clear to the people running major governments and big corporations that unsound money would lead to unsustainable debt, which in turn would destabilize the financial world and bring about a hyperinflationary depression followed by a French Revolution-style reckoning for those responsible.

That generation’s elites were thus left with two choices: Return to the gold standard and avoid monetary collapse — but at the cost of giving up the ability to create money at will. Or use their fictitious currencies to steal as much real wealth as possible from the peasants and let future elites deal with the eventual collapse.
