BLM Stealth-Edits Website Amid Marxist Blowback, Plunge In Americans’ Support, by Tyler Durden

The BLM is finding out it’s not playing too well in Peoria. From Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com:

A new Associated Press poll finds that there has been a massive 15 point swing and that most Americans are now hostile to Black Lives Matter protests.

“The poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that 44% of Americans disapprove of protests in response to police violence against Black Americans, while 39% approve. In June, 54% approved. The new survey was conducted Sept. 11-14, before Wednesday’s announcement that a lone Louisville police officer would be charged in the Taylor case, but not for her actual death.”

As Summit News’ Paul Joseph Watson notes, the figures are also interesting when broken down along racial lines.

Just 35% of white Americans approve of the protests, down from 53% back in June. Just Latinos, 31% approve, compared with 44% in June.

Support for BLM amongst African-Americans has also dropped from 81% to 63%.

As Chris Menahan notes, “AP-NORC chose to exclude Latinos from their chart to make it seem like this is just a Black vs White thing.”

Support for BLM amongst Republicans has also dropped from 29% to 9%. Meanwhile, 70% of Democrats still approve of the protests, while significantly more people on both sides of the political spectrum believe the demonstrations to be “mostly or all violent.”

Innocent Until Proven Trump Supporter, by Ann Coulter

Jake Garner’s alleged suicide is an outrage. From Ann Coulter at anncoulter.com:Innocent Until Proven Trump Supporter

During a BLM “peaceful protest” in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 30 (over George Floyd’s dying of a heart attack while in police custody in Minneapolis), James Scurlock was peacefully protesting by breaking into an architecture firm — hoisting an office chair and hurling it into two computer monitors, then ripping a phone from a desk and throwing it against the wall, as his friend shattered another monitor — all of which was captured on video.

Nearby, Jake Gardner, an Iraq War veteran and Trump supporter, was keeping watch over the two bars he owned, The Hive and The Gatsby, aided by his 68-year-old father and a security guard. The peaceful protesters soon made their way to Jake’s bar, where they hurled a street sign through The Hive’s plate-glass window. He and his father rushed outside to prevent the peaceful protesters from storming his bar.

Scurlock’s friend, catching his wind after smashing computer monitors, knocked Gardner’s father to the ground. (It’s on tape.) Or as CNN’s Madeline Holcombe put it: “An unidentified man can be seen pushing Gardner’s father.”Gardner rushed to help his father, then backed away toward the bar, lifting his shirt to show the protesters he was armed, and telling them to move along. Again, it’s all on tape. Murmurings can be heard from the crowd: “That (expletive) got a gun” and “It’s not worth it (expletive) you stu–,”

At that point, peaceful protester Alayna Melendez leapt on Gardner from behind (not subscribers to the Marquess of Queensberry rules, these peaceful protesters), knocking him down and into the street, whereupon yet another peaceful protester jumped on top of Gardner, who fired two warning shots in the air, scattering his first two assailants. Again: all on tape.

Three seconds later, as Gardner was trying to get up, Scurlock jumped on him from behind and put him in a chokehold — which I believe is considered definitive proof of intentional murder when performed by a police officer. In videos, Gardner can be heard yelling, “Get off me! Get off me!”

With his right arm pinned, and Scurlock choking him, Gardner moved the gun to his left hand and shot over his shoulder, hitting Scurlock in the collarbone, killing him.

Or as The New York Times’ Azi Paybarah explained it: “Mr. Gardner got into a fight with one man, James Scurlock, 22. The two scuffled before Mr. Gardner fired a shot that killed him.” They “scuffled.” It brings to mind the Times headline from Nov. 23, 1963: “President Kennedy Dies in Dallas After Scuffle — Albeit at Great Distance — With Lee Harvey Oswald.”

Language and Thought, by Walter E. Williams

Corrupt the language and you corrupt the mind. From Walter E. Williams at theburningplatform.com:

Language and Thought

Seventeenth-century poet and intellect John Milton predicted, “When language in common use in any country becomes irregular and depraved, it is followed by their ruin and degradation.” Gore Vidal, his 20th-century intellectual successor, elaborated saying: “As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate.” Sloppy language permits people to get away with speaking and doing all manner of destructive nonsense without being challenged.

Let’s look at the concept of “white privilege,” the notion that white people have benefited in American history relative to, and at the expense of, “people of color.” It appears to be utter nonsense to suggest that poor and destitute Appalachian whites have white privilege. How can one tell if a person has white privilege? One imagines that the academic elite, who coined the term, refer to whites of a certain socioeconomic status such as living in the suburbs with the privilege of high-income amenities.

But here is a question: Do Nigerians in the U.S. have white privilege? As reported by the New York Post this summer, 17% of all Nigerians in this country hold master’s degrees, 4% hold a doctorate and 37% hold a bachelor’s degree, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2006 American Community Survey. By contrast, 19% of whites have a bachelor’s degree, 8% have master’s degrees and 1% have doctorates.

Coming Soon to a U.S. Neighborhood Near You? Regime-Change Foot Soldiers Parading as Social Justice Warriors, by Robert Bridge

If it walks like a regime change operation and talks like a regime change operation, it’s a regime change operation. From Robert Bridge at strategic-culture.org:

Is the ‘Trump regime’ about to get a taste of the color revolution tactics that America has employed in the past against “illiberal” foreign governments that refused to toe the neoliberal globalist line? It’s looking highly likely.

Despite great efforts by the mainstream media to play it down, an increasing number of Americans are being subjected to a level of aggression, intimidation and street violence that the authorities seem unable or unwilling to control. This is no accident.

Since 2016, a series of actions by the political left indicate that the chaos unfolding on the streets of America is no grassroots movement on behalf of ‘social justice,’ but rather a carefully coordinated plan to oust Trump in the event the Democrats fail to get Biden into office. Indeed, for the orchestrators of this coup, what happens on Nov. 4 is of far more relevance that what happens on Election Day.

The first sign of trouble came in 2016, when none other than George Soros began spending a king’s ransom in local judicial elections. As the Daily Signal noted, “[r]adical social justice activists will serve as the top prosecutors for three major Washington, D.C., suburbs—including the two wealthiest counties in the U.S.—after George Soros’ political action committee poured $2.1 million into ordinarily sleepy local races.”

Only a crazed conspiracy theorist, like Newt Gingrich, apparently, would see any connection between Soros supporting radical prosecutors, and his other pet project of supporting ‘social justice’ groups, like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, who occasionally find themselves in need of a sympathetic justice system. And if local courts somehow fail to catch and release the hoodlums, Hollywood has shown a disturbing willingness to write out the bail checks. The only thing the looters and ‘peaceful protesters’ need now is a government mandate that requires masks be worn in public to protect their identities, and for property owners to understand they will be prosecuted for demonstrating their 2nd Amendment rights.

Reparations: Blueprint for a Shakedown, by Carl F. Horowitz

What would be the formula for reparations? Would they be based on how much better off black descendants of slaves would be if their ancestors had remained in Africa? Or is it just pick a number, preferably in trillions, and spread it around? From Carl F. Horowitz at chroniclesmagazine.org:

0920-REPARATIONS-2

above: journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones (photo by Alice Vergueiro/Associação Brasileira de Jornalismo Investigativo/Wikimedia Commons)
Nothing talks quite like money, and Robert L. Johnson, a wealthy black man who cofounded Black Entertainment Television (BET) four decades ago, lately has been talking about $14 trillion.

That’s what it will take, he insists, for whites in this country to make amends to blacks for enslaving them in bygone centuries. Only a transfer of wealth of this magnitude would “cause America to live up to the concept and the notion that this nation was born on the idea of American exceptionalism,” he told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on June 1.

What reparations have to do with “American exceptionalism,” that oft-abused term, is not at all clear. What is clear is that in recent years, demands for reparations to the descendants of enslaved blacks have escalated alarmingly and, for the first time, with some prospect of success.

Living American whites, of course, were not around centuries ago to extract slave labor from blacks—or, for that matter, from the many whites who were slaves or indentured servants during our colonial era. But reparations enthusiasts have a retort: All of today’s white wealth on some level is an inheritance of racial oppression. Even “good” whites must recognize their complicity in crime and atone by accepting enforced restitution.

In the world of academia, this ostensibly unearned wealth is called white-skin privilege. In the world of law, it is called unjust enrichment. A number of years ago, University of Hawaii law professor and critical race theorist Mari Matsuda revealed the leveling instinct of this shaming campaign. “Members of the dominant class continue to benefit from the wrongs of the past and the presumptions of inferiority imposed upon victims,” she wrote. “They may decry this legacy, and harbor no racist thoughts of their own, but they cannot avoid their privileged status.”

BLM’s War on the Deplorables, by Mike Whitney

The people who rule us have done a terrible job on many fronts and need a diversion. From Mike Whitney at unz.com:

Let’s assume that Black Lives Matter is not a “social justice” movement, but a corporate-sponsored public relations vehicle that’s being used to advance the agenda of elites? Is that too much of a stretch?

And let’s say that the massive protests that erupted across the country were not random or spontaneous events as some people seem to think, but part of a broader strategy to control the headlines by shifting the dominant “narrative” to race. The death of George Floyd fits perfectly with this “broader strategy”, as the incident took place 6 months before the general election, which (conveniently) gave the Democrats enough time to mount an effective attack on Donald Trump using an issue on which they feel he is particularly vulnerable. (Race)

Was it all a coincidence?

Maybe or maybe not. But it’s certainly worth investigating, after all, we’ve just endured 3 and a half years of relentless fabrications connected to the Russiagate scam, so the idea that this latest headline-grabbing fiasco might be, well, fake, is certainly within the realm of possibility.

So, let’s see if we can figure out “why” wealthy elites and their giant charitable foundations would choose to dump millions of dollars into an organization that claims to be Marxist. Could be that….

  1. They are genuinely committed to social justice for black people?
  2. They think “racist” cops are the Number 1 problem facing black people today?
  3. They think the massive protests are raising consciousness which will have a transformative effect on the country?
  4. They need a flashy social justice organization (BLM) to divert attention from widening inequality, spiraling unemployment, ballooning poverty, shrinking growth, and the savage restructuring of the economy that is creating a permanent underclass forced to scrape by at food banks, homeless shelters and tent cities that are sprouting up across the country but which are religiously ignored by our prostitute media?

Bringing a Bazooka to a Knife Fight, James Howard Kunstler

Read what happened to Princeton and its president. It’s hilarious. From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

You heard it here first: Joe Biden will call in “sick” to the presidential candidates’ debate on Tuesday, September 29, and within days the Democratic Party will be obliged to replace him. Enough said for now. Wait for it….

Onto the election issue du jour: putting out ideological fires set by political arsonists: namely, the “systemic racism” hustle cooked up by “progressive” anarcho-terrorists to provoke hatred and division in a nation sore beset by propaganda, psy-ops, and seditious subterfuge — not to mention Covid-19 and economic collapse, as if those were not enough. This week, President Trump released an executive order halting all federal agency in-service training programs purporting to address “critical race theory,” “white privilege,” “unconscious bias,” and other hobgoblins of Wokesterism, a scam that has become a multimillion-dollar consulting racket funded by taxpayers.

Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent a memo to executive branch agency heads directing them to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any “propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.” When the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) attempted to defy the order and go forward with training to “examine the mechanisms of “systemic racism, white supremacist ideology, and systems of structured inequality,” Mr. Vought had to remind the agency to cancel it. So it goes with “the Resistance.”

One consulting outfit, CAST (the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking) has received $16-million from the Department of Education. At its August 2020 conference, attendees (including DOE staff) were told the United States has a “racial contract” that “says it’s okay for white people to kill blacks with immunity [sic]” (Did they mean impunity?). They also advocated abolishing prisons. The DOE press secretary says it’s investigating.

God knows what kind of swamp creatures lie embedded in the lower mudbanks of that agency, but at the top, at least, the department is cleaning up its act. DOE Secretary Betsy DeVos took aggressive action days ago after Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber sent out an open letter to “the Princeton community” stating that “racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton” and that “racist assumptions” are “embedded in structures of the University itself.”

The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world.

– Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

My blog was started four years ago this month. Inspired by the courage of other writers out here on the still-free internet, I thought I’d add my two cents, as it were; an American Nobody speaking truth to power. Indeed, in September 2016, I fully expected Hillary Clinton to win the presidency in a matter of weeks.

During the two months immediately preceding November 8, 2016: I wrote on the Trojan Horse aspect of political correctness, immigration, the giant sucking sound of manufacturing jobs lost to Mexico, mainstream media obfuscation, the rise of the technocracy, George Soros, Obama, Hillary, Trump, the Illuminati, the rigged-game of American politics, Agenda 21, Cloward-Piven, Fractional Reserve Banking, and encroaching tyranny.

My penultimate article prior to the 2016 election was entitled “Winners Who Won the Wind”, whereupon the following was written:

To those who are encouraged regarding recent headlines of the FBI reopening the case again Hillary a few weeks before the election, keep in mind even this could be a play by the globalists to orchestrate a Trump win. There are some who claim the best play by the financial elite would be to allow the nationalist movements behind both Trump and Brexit to have their day in the sun. This would allow the establishment to simply collapse the system in any number of ways and thus blame the ensuing wreckage on nationalist naiveté and the foolish dreams of protectionism.

With a Hillary win it will be a fast track to war, financial armageddon and third world status. With a Trump win, the powerful moneymen can simply change the order to: financial armageddon, war and then, third world status. The names may change but the end results will be the same. Either way, the winners have won.

Will Woke Jocks Kill the Goose That Lays the Golden Eggs? by Robert Weissberg

There are a lot of people who watch sports to watch sports, not to be subjected to political sermons. From Robert Weissberg at unz.com:

The fabulously rich often develop appetites for foods whose cost far exceeds what ordinary folk can possibly imagine–$295 hamburgers and $1782 slices of pie.

Many of today’s professional athletes, particularly in football and basketball (slightly less in baseball) likewise possess an extravagant appetite. This super-expensive gourmet item is the Goose whose golden eggs enrich these jocks. Now, thanks to their seemingly irrepressible hostility to American values and traditions, they are determined to kill and eat the Goose, perhaps by taking a knee on its neck. Ironically, these rich athletes seem unaware that those they denounce for a litany of race-related sins fund their extraordinary incomes. Do millionaire woke athletes believe that watching the NBA or NFL is so genetically hard-wired that the American public is terminally hooked?

Following the NBA or NFL is not an addiction. Eating the Goose may soon be replaced by jobs at Walmart and dining at McDonalds.

Prior to World War II professional basketball and football barely existed as spectator sports. Americans flocked to boxing and horse racing, not the Decatur Staleys, the forerunner of the NFL Chicago Bears. Public attention is fickle, and today’s Super Bowl mania may eventually be forgotten like when 120,557 fans packed Sesquicentennial Stadium in Philadelphia to watch the 1926 Dempsey-Tunney heavy-weight championship fight.

To understand today’s extraordinary salaries and why this affluence is hardly eternal, consider sports prior to TV. In a nutshell, it is TV revenue, directly and indirectly, that has generated these salaries and allows Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors to earn $40,281,758 while even mediocre player earn $10 million. Correctly understood, Curry is a TV star who just happens to play basketball,

Structural-Racism Hoax a Loser for Dems, by Robert Ringer

Has the Democratic party been a “good deal” for blacks? Not by a longshot, which is why blacks are shifting to Trump in unheard of numbers for a Republican. From Robert Ringer at lewrockwell.com:

With President Trump’s support among African-Americans edging toward 40 percent, it’s clear that an increasing number of blacks now understand that liberty and capitalism, not big government — and certainly not socialism — are the keys to a productive and prosperous life.

What has taken so long for blacks to recognize that liberty and capitalism are their friends is the fact that Democrats have controlled the levers of power for decades — especially in major cities. They have mastered the art of empty promises, childish hyperbole, and hysterical rhetoric. They have also mastered the art of keeping their history from the general public, especially blacks.

Since its founding in 1829, the Democratic Party has had a long history of racial discrimination. It passionately defended the unconscionable practice of slavery (including starting the Civil War to keep slavery in place), opposed Reconstruction, founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, and engaged in lynching. Democrats also fought tooth and nail against the civil rights acts of the 1950s and 1960s.

In the infamous 1857 Dred Scott v. Sandford case, the Supreme Court ruled that slaves were property and therefore could not be citizens.  The seven justices who voted in favor of this decision were all Democrats, while the two dissenting justices were Republicans.  Have you ever heard a Republican talk about this?  Of course not.  It might offend their Democratic colleagues.  In this respect, Republicans have enabled Democrats in their ongoing efforts to keep blacks uninformed.

Ever since the implementation of Democrat Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society, government welfare programs have decimated black families.  To add insult to injury for inner-city folks, politically correct police guidelines have made it easier for criminals to terrorize black communities.  Through both their actions and lack of action, Democrats have made it clear that black lives don’t matter to them at all.
