The Final Truth of Russia-gate, by Justin Raimondo

The Russiagate hoax has been a multi-national affair. From Justin Raimondo at antiwar.com:

The conspiracy to overthrow a sitting US President extends far beyond our own “Deep State.” As I’ve been saying in this space for quite some time, it’s been an international team effort from the beginning. Setting aside the British origins of the obscene “dossier” compiled by “ex”-MI6 agent Christopher Steele, we now have further confirmation of foreign involvement in President Trump’s decision to delay (perhaps indefinitely) the declassification of key Russia-gate documents. While US intelligence officials were expected to oppose the move, “Trump was also swayed by foreign allies, including Britain, in deciding to reverse course, these people said. It wasn’t immediately clear what other governments may have raised concerns to the White House.”

But of course the Washington Post knows perfectly well which other governments would have reason to raise “concerns” to the White House. It’s clear from the public record that the following “allies” have rendered the “Resistance” essential assistance at one time or another:

Kavanaugh v. Feinstein — Flawless Victory, by Tom Luongo

The Democrats have shot themselves in both feet. From Tom Luongo at tomluongo.me:

Yesterday’s dramatic cloture vote to push SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh to a final confirmation vote is one of those political moments of pure victory.  It was messy and it was tense, but the ultimate outcome was better than I could have ever originally expected.

Because it’s pretty clear to me that we’re looking at the kind of big operation run on the Democrats and the Soros Group to expose not only their tactics, the classic “Nuts and Sluts” shaming technique, but also in the process crush certain powerful members of the Democratic party which have been the conduit through which ‘the Resistance’ has driven our political process to the point of no return.

The Tyranny of “The Collective” by the Illusions of Narratives, by Doug “Uncola” Lynn

Doug Lynn offers a compelling insight into how the collective establishment uses  its narratives to keep its hold on power. From Lynn at theburningplatform.com:

We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end.

    – George Orwell, “1984”, part 3, chapter 3,

Tyranny:

1 : oppressive power  especially : oppressive power exerted by government

4 : an oppressive, harsh, or unjust act : a tyrannical act

It is a fact the election of Donald Trump exposed certain undeniable realities in the United States for those willing to see.   Perhaps first and foremost of the various revelations is the bona fide existence of The Collective.  Also known as the Uniparty or The Establishment, The Collective is comprised of the following:  The Democratic Party, Republican’s in Name Only (RINOs), Neo-conservatives (Neocons), the Mainstream Media, the Corporatocracy, globalists, elite bankers and unelected government bureaucrats and officials; also often referred to as The Deep State or Military Industrial Complex.

All of these entities have attained singularity through the decades while, for the most part, retaining some “plausible deniability” of their collusive connectivity prior to the 2016 Presidential Election.  But now the veil has been lifted.  As The Collective has unified in polar opposition against everything Trump, so has its immorality and lawlessness been additionally exposed; like nude streetwalkers performing dirty tricks in broad daylight on busy corners.

The Deep State, by Doug Casey

This is one of the better explanations of the Deep State out there. From Doug Casey at internationalman.com:

I’d like to address some aspects of the Greater Depression in this essay.

I’m here to tell you that the inevitable became reality in 2008. We’ve had an interlude over the last few years financed by trillions of new currency units.

However, the economic clock on the wall is reading the same time as it was in 2007, and the Black Horsemen of your worst financial nightmares are about to again crash through the doors and end the party. And this time, they won’t be riding children’s ponies, but armored Percherons.

To refresh your memory, let me recount what a depression is.

This is What Donald Trump Must Do to Battle the Deep State and Win, by Roger Stone

Roger Stone, who knows a thing or two about the Deep State, explains what it’s going to take for Trump to defeat it. From Stone at targetliberty.com:

The below essay by long-time political operative Roger Stone is the most important essay I have come across detailing how the Deep State has run counter-operations against Donald Trump, before he was elected president and since. In the essay, Stone also provides suggestions on how Trump should battle the DS.
The lesson here for libertarians is how government Deep State operatives often use laws created “to protect us”  to instead protect sectors of central power. The only way to stop these power plays is to eliminate the power centers by shrinking government.

By Roger Stone
During the Presidential Campaign for the 2016 election, then Candidate Trump responded to the anguished cries of The People when he promised to “Drain the Swamp”.  While Donald J. Trump knew instinctively that there was rampant corruption in Washington, D.C., it is entirely possible that he was surprised by the levels of vindictiveness and wrath he would eventually encounter.
In a prescient and possibly complicit statement, on January 3, 2017, mere days from Trump’s inauguration, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer warned the soon-to-be sworn-in President Elect. Schumer said that Donald Trump was being ”really dumb” to question US intelligence agency officials in their handling of the alleged “Russian Hacking” fabrications.  Schumer warned: “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community – they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,”.  With the benefit of hindsight, we see that the Obama corrupted FBI with assistance from the Obama corrupted CIA tried more than six different ways, and are still trying even now.

Defeat the Deep State, by Justin Raimondo

The Deep State must be defeated, and that’s priority one. From Justin Raimondo at antiwar.com;

The crisis is upon us, and yet hardly anyone outside of a few old-fashioned liberals sees it. Their view is obscured by the Brobdingnagian figure of Donald J. Trump towering over us all as left and right battle it out in his shadow. Yet the real battle, and the actual combatants, are obscured by this spectacle.

The Deep State – i.e. the constellation of national security agencies and private actors who have directed and maintained our globalist foreign policy since the end of World War II – would have targeted Trump in any case, due to his hostility to their interventionist foreign policy. And yet I believe they would’ve gone after him anyway due to his populist outsider persona, which the self-appointed guardians of the Empire consider dangerous per se. Continue reading

The Deceit of “The Steady State”, by Allan Stevo

It is good to know that wise Deep Staters are protecting us from the “depredations” of the man we elected to take on the Deep State. From Allan Stevo at lewrockwell.com:

September 5, 2018, the New York Times ran an anonymous op-ed from “a senior White House official,” in which he criticizes Trump as being “anti-democratic.” The senior official goes on to hypocritically explain how he secretly works each day to undermine the duly elected President of the United States.

One such example, according to the anonymous author, is how the deep state saboteurs in the White House successfully provoke aggression with Moscow in order to “frustrate” Trump’s attempt to de-escalate with both Russia and North Korea, long derided targets of neo-con enmity.

Why hasn’t Trump been able to de-escalate tension with Russia as much as he’s wanted to? Because, according to this anonymous deep state bureaucrat, “his national security team knew better” than to allow him to de-escalate. Continue reading

Gun Owners Should Fear the Deep State, by James Bovard

The price of gun freedom, or some semblance of it, is eternal vigilance. From James Bovard at lewrockwell.com:

Unfortunately, the deep state could increasingly focus on gun owners in the coming years. The number of Americans who are violating firearm laws and regulations is increasing by tens or hundreds of thousands almost every year. This is not the result of a violent crime wave, but because politicians are continually criminalizing the possession of items that were previously legally owned.

Five years ago, the Connecticut legislature decreed that all owners of so-called “assault weapons” (which included any semi-automatic rifle with a pistol grip) must register their firearms. Perhaps as few as 15 percent of gun owners bothered to comply with the new law—meaning that Connecticut had up to 100,000 “criminals” living within its border. A 2016 Albany Times Union editorial lamented that 96 percent of roughly 1 million New Yorkers who owned so-called “assault weapons” failed to comply with registration requirements. California gun bans have been met with similar, massive non-compliance. Undeterred, local governments have begun jumping on the bandwagon. Deerfield, Ill., recently decreed a $1,000-a-day penalty on anyone who fails to surrender or disable their semi-automatic firearms with cosmetic features that frighten politicians and editorial writers.

While such laws were made by elected officials, it is unelected bureaucrats who are largely left in charge of enforcement, and that can cause big problems for gun owners. Just before press time for this issue, it was reported that a California farmer who was simply trying to meet the state’s ever-changing restrictive gun laws by registering his rifle is being charged with 12 felonies after the state DOJ determined his AR-15 to be “illegally modified.” That determination served as grounds for the agency to raid the man’s home and confiscate 12 firearms, 230 rounds of ammunition and two suppressors. He was later released on $150,000 bond, and at press time the case was still pending.

The Deep State’s Long Enmity Towards Iranians, by Jacob Hornsberger

After three-quarters of a century, the Deep State can still not either forget or forgive the Iranians their wretched ingratitude when the US and Britain got rid of the Iranians freely elected ruler with their own puppet, the Shah. From Jacob Hornsberger at fff.com:

The U.S. deep state’s hatred of the Iranian people goes back a long way, at least as far back as 1953. That was the year that the CIA, which was called into existence in 1947 when the U.S. government was being converted to a national-security state, targeted Iran with its first regime-change operation. And guess who paid the price for that operation. Yes, the people of Iran.

The Iranian Parliament had elected a man named Mohammad Mossadegh to be their prime minister. Mosaddegh would later be named Time magazine’s “Man of the Year.” As many government officials around the world have done, Mosaddegh nationalized the country’s oil industry, arguing that natural resources belonged to the nation.

The oil companies that bore the brunt of the nationalization were British-owned. Not surprisingly, they, along with British public officials, were livid over having the oil wells nationalized. British officials turned to the CIA for help.

The CIA asked President Truman for permission to initiate a coup to help the British oil companies, which the CIA knew would destroy the Iranian people’s experiment with democracy. To his everlasting credit, Truman said no. That didn’t stop the CIA however. As soon as President Eisenhower became president in 1952, the CIA renewed its request for a coup, arguing that Mossadegh was a “communist.”

Why did that make a difference? Because by this time, the U.S. deep state had launched its Cold War against America’s World War II partner and ally, the Soviet Union, which was run by a communist regime. Americans were inculcated with the fear that the communists were coming to get us, take over the federal government, and turn America Red. Thus, anyone labeled a “communist” automatically became a threat to U.S. “national security.”

Ike gave the go-ahead to the Iranian coup. In a brilliantly cunning plan, the CIA successfully toppled Mosaddegh but, surprisingly, left him alive. The CIA then vested the unelected Shah of Iran with total dictatorial power over the Iranian people. The Shah restored oil rights to the British petroleum countries.

Taming Swamp Critters with Security Clearances, by Aaron Hirschi

How President Trump can use security clearances as a weapon against his Deep State enemies. From Aaron Hirschi at americanthinker.com:

At long last President Trump finally discovered, thanks to Senator Rand Paul, the most potent weapon against large numbers of “swamp creatures” a.k.a., the abusive senior leaders of critical sections of the Federal bureaucracy.  Trying to fire a senior civil servant not appointed by the president is almost impossible and it often is a double-edged sword when successful because nothing stops them from publicly stirring up trouble after the fact.

However, if the security clearance rules are used properly, they can become the president’s greatest clean-up weapon against the “swamp.”  Clearances are a true leash that can keep otherwise disruptive executive bureaucrats to heel.

For the Trump Administration to effectively use security clearances as a means of preventing corrupt swamp creatures from abusing the system for their own ends, President Trump must not abuse this tool, either.  Otherwise, pathetic and impotent threats from Congress will become real threats.

To prevent such an occurrence, it is vital that both the Trump Administration and his voting supporters understand: 1) how security clearances work;  2) the myths commonly believed; and 3) why the senior civil service fears the loss of clearances.

For instance, not one article in the media that I found researching this article accurately explains clearances and or how clearances relate to Obama officials.  That’s not surprising given the lack of expertise of the media on most subjects most of the time.  This lack has provoked colorful comments based on inaccurate assumptions from the media articles and commentators.

The biggest myth is the public perception derived from these press reports that a security clearance is a get-access-to-all-secrets-free card, and that the government foolishly forgot to turn off the Obama officials’ clearances once they left office.  In reality, a security clearance has two components and the clearance only gives a person access to classified information when both components are activated.

The term describing the first clearance component is ‘eligibility’ and the term describing the second component is ‘access’.  In government rules, terms are critical to understanding a system and the media misuses the terms like “access” so badly that it cannot be known if the Obama officials still receive classified information based on the news accounts alone.
