The Covid-Driven Global Takeover Exposes the Real Threat of the Contrived ‘Climate Change’ Agenda, by Gary D. Barnett

In the last eighteen months, there’s not a single person in America who has said: “Well, they’re lying to us on Covid, but I’m sure they’re telling the truth on climate change.” If you don’t buy the bullshit on Covid, you’ve probably never bought it on climate change, either. From Gary D. Barnett at lewrockwell.com:

“As a geologist, I love Earth observations, but it is ridiculous to tie this objective to a ‘consensus’ that humans are causing global warming when human experience, geologic data and history, and current cooling can argue otherwise. ‘Consensus,’ as many have said, merely represents the absence of definitive science. You know as well as I, the ‘global warming scare’ is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making.”

~ Harrison Schmitt (American geologist, retired NASA astronaut, university professor)

As of late, and after a global assault on humanity that is unmatched in history, expansion of the ‘reset’ (takeover) of society is ramping up to epoch proportions. With this will come an onslaught of claimed monsters to frighten the masses into even more panic; the leading one before and after the ‘Covid’ hoax is complete, will likely remain the ridiculously named fraud called man-made ‘climate change.’  In fact, this has already begun, but will vastly escalate over the next few months and beyond in my opinion. At some point, ‘climate change’ will likely be disclosed as the core issue at hand so far as those wishing to gain total control of the masses are concerned, replacing in importance in effect, the other fraudulent tools of tyranny such as ‘virus pandemics,’ but not eliminating them as part of the conspiracy of depopulation and control.

This scenario has been planned and played out for decades, but is now getting into a very advanced stage in this plot to alter life as we have known it; relegating humanity to a two-tiered societal shift that consists of a controlling class sometimes referred to as the global ‘elites,’ and a slave class made up of the masses. This is meant to culminate with the master class of claimed elites imposing a technocratic hierarchy so extreme as to eliminate freedom of the individual entirely. To accomplish this, it is required that collectivism of the majority be the prevailing manner of ‘thought’ and politics, and that individuality be destroyed in favor of a communistic approach. So describes the postmodern mindset that has consumed the so-called intellectual left for some time, but unfortunately, it is not specific or unique to just the left today, but filters into the thinking of the ruling class of all political levels of thought. Therefore, the façade of right and left being political opposites is exposed as a lie, but this truth is generally avoided at all cost, and this attitude allows for radical totalitarian policies to flourish. Hence, critical thinking, truth, honesty, logic, and reason, disappear from view to be replaced by mass ignorance and indifference. Because of this great paradigm shift in societal reality, we are left to either fend off at all costs this assault by the state, or simply accept our slavery voluntarily.

Green Is The New Red: The Terrifying Agenda Behind Climate Alarmism, by John Eidson

Scratch a liberal environmental and they bleed communist red. From John Eidson at bluestateconservative.com:

Twelve years ago, a climate research cheating scandal known as “Climategate 2009” rocked the scientific world to the core. Hacked emails among highly influential scientists at the center of worldwide hysteria over climate change revealed routine data tampering and other instances of flagrant scientific misconduct. Although the scientists implicated denied wrong-doing, emails hacked from computers at their employer, the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, revealed a consistent pattern of climate data manipulation, conspiracies to falsify data and withhold findings that cast serious doubt on man-made global warming theory, to exaggerate the existence and threats posed by global warming, and to obstruct contrary research from appearing in scholarly publications. Aided and abetted by a complicit western media establishment, the climate crisis industry dismissed the scandal as much ado about nothing and continued beating the drums of climate hysteria as if nothing had happened.

The Climategate cheating scandal exposed man-made global warming theory for what it is: the most brazen scientific hoax in human history, an international collusion to destroy capitalism in the world’s largest capitalist nation to pave the way for that nation’s sovereignty being handed over to a global governing authority run by the United Nations.

That is a serious charge on my part, so please allow me to justify it by citing the words of two high profile UN climate officials in the thick of the effort to strip away America’s sovereignty.

Costa Rican communist Christiana Figueres served as Executive Secretary of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change from 2010-16. In a frank admission that laid bare the stealth agenda behind climate alarmism, Figueres said during a February 2015 press conference in Brussels that the UN’s real purpose in promoting climate fear is to kill off capitalism throughout the world:

“This is the first time in human history that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally changing [getting rid of] the economic development model that has reigned since the Industrial Revolution”.

An Elite Con Job, by Bill Bonner

The powers that be have clearly been lying about Afghanistan for years. The progress of the war, the capabilities of the Afghan army, the level of corruption—you name it, a lot of people with fancy titles have prevaricated to the American people. So what else are they lying about? From Bill Bonner at rogueeconomics.com:

POITOU, FRANCE – The financial news this week is overshadowed by the disgraceful fall of Kabul.

On July 8, President Biden said a Taliban takeover was “highly unlikely,” adding that there would be “no circumstance [where] you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy.”

And even if the Taliban did eventually take over, said U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in June, it won’t “be something that happens from a Friday to a Monday.”

But that’s exactly what did happen. The Afghan troops that the U.S. trained, bribed, and supported for 20 years didn’t fight to the last man… They simply dropped their guns and joined the other side.

Incompetent and Unreliable

In all of military history, we can’t think of any defeat so quick… so complete… or so ignominious.

Biden and Blinken were advised and informed by 17 different “intelligence” agencies – the CIA, the NSA, etc. – with billion-dollar budgets, thousands of big-head analysts, and all the latest spy technology.

How could they all be so incompetent?

Journalist Glenn Greenwald reports that the Pentagon had long reported that the Afghan army, which outnumbered the Taliban 4-to-1, was both incompetent and unreliable.

They didn’t make a “mistake,” said Greenwald, interviewed on Fox News by Tucker Carlson this morning, “they lied.”

So add Biden, Blinken, and a few spook chiefs to the gallows list. Hang ‘em high as a warning to the others.

Corruption and Conflict

But today, we wonder: What else are they lying about?

COVID-19 vaccines? Inflation? The economy? The green agenda?

Yes, Dear Reader, it’s amazing what you can’t see when you’re paid to be blind. And for a long time – 20 years, in the case of Afghanistan – you can keep the fantasy intact.

Then, in just a few days, it collapses like a punctured balloon.

Creating Problems When There’s a Solution, by Eric Peters

Hybrids have a lot of advantages over pure electric cars, but they don’t get electrics’ hype and PR. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

If something works but its use is discouraged it is safe to assume something else is wanted.

Hybrid cars fall into this category. They work. They address every issue brought forth by the people pushing for the full electrification of transportation – in a way that works, without imposing what does not work. Yet they are being discouraged – even forbidden – while that which does not work (the full electric car) is being pushed, hard.

Why?

Because something else is wanted.

If the issue is “emissions,” whether of the kind that contribute to air quality problems or which are asserted to contribute to “climate change,” then hybrids work. They have small gas engines, it is true. But they are small  – which is just the point. They burn much less gas because they are small and because they are often not burning any gas at all – as when the small gas engine is not running, which is a third to half or more of the time – and so producing substantially less gas, including of carbon dioxide. Less gas – overall – then the typical full-electric car, which (to get people’s minds off that which does not work) emphasizes speed, which burns a lot of electricity – which requires more generating as well as storage capacity, which results in the outpouring of more gas, just not directly – as if that makes a difference to the “climate.”

If the concern is gas rather than politics.

An efficient hybrid like the Toyota Prius – which does not emphasize Ludicrous Speed – consumes less energy overall than a “plaid” Tesla electric car, which does emphasize its Ludicrous Speed – and which, for that reason, is not efficient. Nothing that uses excessive energy to deliver extravagant performance is efficient, by definition.

If the issue is range – and it is a huge issue with electric cars, especially as a function of the next/related issue (recharge times) then hybrids work. They have more range than most non-electric cars – typically 500-600 miles – giving them an advantage over both non-electric and electric cars, as opposed to electric cars being a disadvantage relative to both, as few can travel farther than 250 miles on a full charge.

Most cannot travel even that far – and will travel even less far when driven in winter, when it is cold – and the heat is used, which uses electricity. Or in summer, when it is hot – and the AC is used, which also uses electricity. Most people are unaware of these deficits because most electric cars have been sold in states where it is warm, consistently. Not-too-cold and not-too-hot, year-round – like California – where the range is not greatly affected by electrically powered accessories like AC and heat that aren’t used much because they’re not needed, much.

Ask someone who  lives in Minnesota how much it costs to run electric baseboard heaters or heat pumps in January. Or someone who lives in Phoenix, about the AC in summer.

Two Charts Destroy Big Lie About ‘Climate Change’ And Wildfires, by the I and I Editorial Board

In the twentieth century, there were a lot more wildfires in the early part of the century, before there could have been much man-made global warming. From the Issues and Insights Editorial Board at issuesinsights.com:

Wildfire threatens Santa Clarita, California. Photo: Jeff Turner, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/deed.en).

It’s that time of year again, the season of headlines routinely screaming about “record” amounts of acreage burned from out-of-control wildfires caused by, of course, “climate change.” But is it true? Is global warming driving a surge in wildfires? The answer is no.

The media started again this week with the release of the United Nation’s latest dire climate change report, based on the same faulty models and filled with more apocalyptic predictions that won’t come true.

Recent screaming headlines tell the tale:

Wildfires rage across the world as U.N. releases damning climate change report — Yahoo News

Why the Dixie Fire won’t stop burning — Mashable

Dry, hot, windy: Explosive wildfires in Northern California could burn until winter — USA Today

Greek wildfires are the ‘harsh reality of climate change,’ experts warn — NBC News

We could go on. It’s become an annual summer mantra from the media, this time driven by large wildfires that happen to coincide with the release of the U.N. report.

The truth is, in the U.S. we are not at a “record” for wildfire burning by a longshot. As the charts below show, wildfire burns were far worse in the early- to mid-20th century, with massive amounts of acreage charred before there was any significant global warming to speak of.

So based on 20th century history, the most recent fires are way below the levels in the 1920s and 1930s, when more than 50 million acres burned in some years. (The chart ends at 2017; more recent data show that from 2018 through 2020, wildfires averaged just under 7.9 million acres burned each year).

Further underscoring the spurious correlation between wildfires and climate change is a related chart presented to Congress several years back during testimony by David B. South, an emeritus professor of forestry at Auburn University. It too is enlightening, because it’s one you’ll never see in the mainstream media. It shows the same wildfire data charted above against CO2 increases back to 1926.

Scientists Rename Climate Change ‘COVID’ So Americans Will Immediately Give Up All Their Rights To Fight It

From The Babylon Bee:

U.S.—In a clever ploy to fight global warming, scientists have renamed “climate change” to “COVID,” so that Americans will immediately give up all their rights in order to fight the unprecedented phenomenon where weather trends change over time.

“Listen up, guys—we’re not calling it ‘climate change’ anymore,” said climate researcher Dr. Brittany Boyd. “We’re going with ‘COVID,’ which stands for ‘climate oscillation & variation into destruction’—this will ensure people will listen to us and quickly surrender all their liberties to fight climate cha—sorry, I mean, COVID.”

According to Dr. Boyd, studies have shown that if you refer to the coronavirus instead of climate change, Americans who otherwise wouldn’t care about climate science will stumble over themselves to be locked in their homes and give up all rights to their state and federal governments to help out.

“COVID is going to destroy us in less than 12 years,” said Al Gore to a packed house. “We must stop this by purchasing as many of my books as possible, so I can fly to more places to spread the word about COVID.”

All books previously referring to climate change have been destroyed, just as the ones referring to “global warming” were destroyed before them. “There will only be an endless present in which we are always right,” said Boyd.

The problem with climate change politics, by Alasdair Macleod

Allowing governments to “solve” the climate change problem is allowing people with only a tenuous connection to reality to propagate their solutions unchecked by feedback from the people who must live under those solutions and bear their cost. From Alasdair Macleod at goldmoney.com:

Climate change bears all the hallmarks of a state-sponsored crisis, useful to shift attention from other political failures. But the absence of financial accountability which characterises government actions also introduces behavioural errors.

The absence of a profit motive in any state action exposes the relationship between governments and their electors to psychological factors. We all know that governments use propaganda and other tools to manage crowd psychology and influence their electorates. What is less understood is that governments themselves are misled by a crowd psychology in its own ranks which contributes to policy failure.

This article does not question the climate change debate itself. Instead, it examines the debate in the context of the psychology driving it. The release of government-sponsored propaganda on climate change in the form of a unanimous IPCC report predicting the end of the world as we know it is the latest example of a political and bureaucratic phenomenon, making the timing of this article apposite.

Introduction

Western economies have moved on from free markets to the point where they hardly exist in the true meaning of the phrase. Yet the state continually claims that it is free markets that fail, not government.

The reason governments fail in economic terms is that economic calculation is never part of their brief, and nor can it be. By economic calculation, we mean taking positive actions aimed at a profitable outcome. To survive and prosper, businesses and individuals must do this all the time — the only exception being when they can rely on the state to underwrite their failures, which is why established businesses encourage statist regulation to place hurdles in the way of upstart competitors. And why at an individual level there is a ready demand for state welfare.

In Defense of CO2: Astro-Climatology, Climategate and Common Sense Revisited, by Matthew Ehret

Carbon dioxide is getting a bum rap. From Matthew Ehret at lewrockwell.com:

According to such modern climate experts as Bill Gates, Greta Thunberg, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Carney, Al Gore, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Prince Charles and Klaus Schwab, carbon dioxide must be stopped at all cost. Images of submerged cities, drowning polar bears and burning deserts taking over civilization flash before our eyes repeatedly in schools, mainstream media and films.

The Paris Climate Accords demand that all nations reduce their emissions to pre-industrial levels and the upcoming COP27 Summit in the UK will certainly demand that these reductions be made legally binding and enforceable by new global governance mechanisms.

But is CO2 really the existential threat it is being made out to be?

I would like to take a few moments to entertain the hypothesis that we may be drinking some poisonous Kool-Aid in a modern-day Jonestown cult and we are just minutes away from a hearty “bottoms up”.

While some of the questions and facts you are about to read are considered heretical in certain quarters, I think that history has shown that it is only by permitting the mind to question sacred cows at the risk of being denounced as “heretical” that any creative progress can made. With this thought in mind, I will venture the risk and only ask that you accompany me for this thought experiment with an open mind.

Climate Change Is Not Driving Western Wildfires, Government Mismanagement Is To Blame, by H. Sterling Burnett

Every time there’s a big fire someone yells “Climate change!” There are ways to mitigate wildfires, but they’re a natural part of the ecosystem and like the Covid virus, you can’t get rid of them. From H. Sterling Burnett at The Epoch Times via zerohedge.com:

In late July, President Joe Biden held a virtual joint planning meeting and press conference with the governors of various Western states to discuss how to handle 2021’s wildfire season.

Every leader blamed catastrophic human climate change for the severity of recent wildfire seasons.

The New York Times allowed Oregon’s Democratic Gov. Kate Brown to follow up that event with an editorial titled “The West Is on Fire, It’s Past Time to Act on Climate Change.”

Biden and the governors are wrong.

Wildfires have been common throughout the West historically, often burning more acres than they’ve burned in recent years. To the extent that wildfires have increased in intensity recently, it isn’t due to modest warming, but rather to decades of federal and state mismanagement of publicly owned forests throughout the Western United States, leaving those forests in tinderbox conditions.

It has been more than a century since California experienced wildfires of the magnitude it has suffered recently. But research published in Forest Ecology and Management reported that prior to European colonization, more than 4.4 million acres of California forest and shrub-land burned annually. And those huge wildfires came when the Earth was cooler than it is today.

Had Brown studied history a bit, she would have found Oregon has suffered large fires throughout its history.

Obama’s Party Ruined As Mansion Sinks Into Sea Thanks To Climate Change

From The Babylon Bee:

MARTHA’S VINEYARD, MA—Well, this is tragic news: Barack Obama’s long-awaited birthday bash has been ruined by climate change as his mansion sank into the sea thanks to global warming.

As guests participated in the activities, from fun games like “Pin the Drone on the Middle Eastern Country” to a rousing session of Settlers of Yemen, the sound of crashing water caused everyone to run outside. “Oh no!” shouted Hillary Clinton. “We’ve gotta cheese it—it’s climate change!”

“How dare you!” shouted Greta Thunberg, lecturing the wave on how it’s just supposed to consume evil white men.

“Aw, man!” said a disappointed Obama as he swam away. “I was looking forward to that Predator drone-shaped cake—it looked delicious!”

“I knew I shouldn’t have invested in a $12 million-dollar mansion when I’ve warned people over and over again that it would be underwater in just a few years.”

Many guests were soaked or swept away into the sea, though John Kerry and Al Gore called their pilots and got picked up in their private jets.

At publishing time, Obama had purchased yet another multi-million-dollar mansion on the new Atlantic coast in eastern Kansas.
