Get Your Monkeypox On, by James Howard Kunstler

Does the optics of the Democrats January 6 hearings outweigh the reality of raging inflation, fiascos in Afghanistan and Ukraine, and a country that is falling apart? We doubt it. From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

The made-for-TV January 6th Capitol Riot hearings kicked off last night with tribute video of a whole lot of pissed-off ordinary Americans marching on the stately building where, that fateful day, the final certification ceremony of a blatantly dishonest election was underway after, mind you, four years of seditious machinations by a weaponized bureaucracy aimed at disabling and destroying the sitting chief executive — in case it’s unclear why the huge crowd flocked to the capital city in the first place.

The Party of Chaos is playing its hand: a select committee of seven deuces and two jokers. Do they look like they’re going to get through this extravaganza without humiliating themselves? You never know what might come out of some witness’s mouth, despite the orchestrations of former ABC’s Good Morning America producer James Goldston, brought in to cement the narrative in the collective public brain, pre-softened with years of manifold media mind-fuckeries.

TRUMP: ‘January 6th Was Not Simply a Protest, it Represented the Greatest Movement in the History of Our Country to Make America Great Again’, by Cassandra Fairbanks

They are sneered at and dismissed, but there are millions of Americans who think the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. They have plenty of evidence, most of which has never been looked at by an investigative body or in a court of law. From Cassandra Fairbanks at gatewaypundit.com:

President Trump serious

Donald Trump has weighed in on January 6 ahead of the made-for-tv House committee hearing spearheaded by Democrats and a few RINOS.

In a post on his social media platform, TRUTH Social, Trump said that “January 6th was not simply a protest, it represented the greatest movement in the history of our Country to Make America Great Again.”

Trump began, “The Unselect Committee didn’t spend one minute studying the reason that people went to Washington, D.C., in massive numbers, far greater than the Fake News Media is willing to report, or that the Unselects are willing to even mention, because January 6th was not simply a protest, it represented the greatest movement in the history of our Country to Make America Great Again. It was about an Election that was Rigged and Stolen, and a Country that was about to go to HELL..& look at our Country now!”

The Freedom Convoy & the Collapse of Canadian Liberalism, by Ray McGinnis

A comprehensive look at the Canadian truckers’ convoy and a scathing indictment of the Canadian government. From Ray McGinnis at off-guardian.org:

At any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to say this, that or the other, but it is “not done” to say it, just as in mid-Victorian times it was “not done” to mention trousers in the presence of a lady. Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness. A genuinely unfashionable opinion is almost never given a fair hearing, either in the popular press or in highbrow periodicals.
George Orwell, “Freedom of the Press”

Recently, a friend told me she’d taken part in a webinar conducted by the Council of Canadians. The webinar included First Nations people speaking about RCMP mistreatment of indigenous peoples on reserve. It was contrasted with the peaceful disbursement of freedom convoy protesters in Ottawa on February 18th.

The webinar narrative was partially true, likely informed by mainstream news reports. RCMP policing among First Nations people needs to be repaired. But, the Trucker Freedom Convoy in Ottawa wasn’t broken up peacefully. Just ask Candice “Candy” Sero.

Sero is a full-blood Mohawk woman from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Hastings County, Ontario. On February 18, I watched live footage online of mounted police officers charging through the freedom protester crowd and trampling Candy Sero as she stood with her wheeled walker. She fell to the ground. A horse stepped on her shoulder.

Why We Need Our Guns, by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

Guns are the last defense against government tyranny, and history has demonstrated repeatedly that governments will tyrannize defenseless populations. From Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr., at lewrockwell.com:

Make no mistake about, brain-dead Biden and his gang of criminals want to take our guns away. And these efforts didn’t start with him. As James Bovard pointed out in 2020, ““’Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15,’ declared ‘Beto’ O’Rourke at a Democratic party presidential candidate debate in September. Compelling Americans to surrender their so-called assault weapons is ‘the newest purity test’ for Democratic presidential candidates, according to the Washington Post. O’Rourke and other Democratic presidential candidates, including Cory Booker, Kristin Gillibrand, and Bill de Blasio (now withdrawn from the race, as are Gillibrand and O’Rourke) have all endorsed mandatory buy-backs of assault weapons. Though such proposals are momentarily politically profitable, they could start a cascade of public-policy dominoes that ends in civil war.

When Australia and New Zealand mandated buy-backs of assault weapons, most gun owners ignored the decrees despite politicians repeatedly ratcheting up their threats. Similar noncompliance to laws requiring surrender or registration of assault weapons has occurred in California, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and elsewhere.

Congress passed an assault-weapons ban in 1994 that lasted for a decade. The original assault-weapons ban protected Americans from being shot with rifles that included features such as grenade launchers, bayonet lugs, or other detailing whose primary impact was to fuel the phobias of gun haters.

It’s Time to Walk Away from a Hopelessly Corrupt Federal Government that Facilitates Biden’s Destruction of America, by Joe Hoft

There’s been a massive split between much of the American people and the government. From Joe Hoft at thegatewaypundit.com:

Historically, all “revolutions” arise from societal disruption, chaos, if you will.

Case in point is the rise of Nazism.

In the 1928 German elections, the Nazis received 2.6% of the vote. In 1930, a year after the 1929 Wall Street crash, the Nazis received 18.3% of the vote. By November 1932, at the height of the Great Depression, the Nazis were the dominant party with 33.1% of the vote.

What we are now witnessing in the U.S. is planned chaos to lay the foundation for “revolution.”

That is, the Biden regime wishes to impose a global one-party totalitarian state, a retrograde hybrid governance model combining the most tyrannical aspects of the Chinese Communist Party and the World Economic Forum, in which there are no nations, but only land and people to exploit.

I Don’t Much Like What Is Happening. I’m Tired Of Seeing The Coward Staring Back At Me In The Mirror. By Wes Rhinier

Yes, if you want your life to be anything more than what the New World Order crowd has in store for you, you’re going to have to fight. From Wes Rhinier at ncrenegade.com:

I knew we were in trouble way back in my Tea Party days. Once I became comfortable there and had made many good friends, I began speaking more freely. It never failed, every time I said we couldn’t vote our way out of this mess and that a “Revolution” would be necessary to restore Liberty, I’d get those you’re insane looks or comments. So for over 10 years now I have been trying to open people’s eyes to the farce of voting to no avail.

It’s heartbreaking to read article’s such as this from WRSA yesterday. “Complacency, compliance, and cowardice together with bountiful heaps of apathy, indifference, and denial are pretty much all I see.” Oh, how many times I have written about that. Yet we continue to do nothing but hope for the best in voting. Early voting is taking place here locally already, and it seems that the enthusiasm is high. Politicians signs are everywhere. One of the early voting stations was packed this past Saturday. The cycle of hope on voting our way out continues it seems.

A Handgun Against the New World Order, by Baron Bodissey

Say you see the new world order for what it is and you want to fight it. Who do you fight? From Baron Bodissey at gatesofvienna.net:

In my introduction last week to Thierry Baudet’s video I said, concerning the implementation of the New World order, that “…the same is true here in the USA. The process is fully underway now, and not enough people are aware of it for it to be stopped, by democratic means or otherwise. Not only can we not vote our way out of what’s happening, we can’t shoot our way out either, because we are too fragmented and isolated, and under such constant surveillance that the formation of any coherent mass resistance is now all but impossible.”

Western Rifle Shooters Association featured Mr. Baudet’s video (and my comments), but is not as pessimistic about the future of the Country Formerly Known as the United States of America. Concerned American said:

Perhaps here in the former USA as well as Europe.

But perhaps not.

Or more properly, the demon is most certainly in both places, but his final standing — victor or vanquished — is yet to be determined.

Earlier today, the state of Georgia became the 25th American state to remove any form of handgun license requirement for Georgians who otherwise can legally possess firearms.

Doug Casey on Food Riots and “Inflation Lockdowns”

Sooner or later, food riots will spread to Western countries. From Doug Casey at internationalman.com:

Inflation Lockdowns

International Man: Recently, we’ve seen people riot over rising prices—especially food prices—in Sri Lanka, Peru, and other countries.

What is going on here?

Doug Casey: Commodity prices have generally gone up close to 100% in the last year. Soybeans ($17), wheat ($11), and corn ($8) are all at or near all-time highs—and they’re not coming down. Why not? Mainly because of the trillions of currency units printed by central banks in the last year or so. Their prices are now at a new equilibrium level. But there are other reasons besides money printing.

Wheat, soybeans, and corn are basic for feeding people and animals around the world—certainly in the Western world. They’ve become much more expensive to produce. In today’s era of industrial agriculture, fertilizer is of critical importance. All of the main fertilizers—nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium compounds—have tripled or more.

They Won’t Awaken for Fear of Losing the Dream, by Doug “Uncola” Lynn

Sometimes you’re best off not trying to convince those who won’t listen or think, and instead build your own Ark. From Doug “Uncola” Lynn at theburningplatform.com:

The great citizens of a country are not those who bend the knee before authority but rather those who, against authority if need be, are adamant as to the honor and freedom of that country.

– Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death

The task of men…is not to desert historical struggles nor to serve the cruel and inhuman elements in those struggles. It is rather to remain what they are, to help man against what is oppressing him, to favor freedom against the fatalities that close in upon it.…Man’s greatness…lies in his decision to be greater than his condition. And if his condition is unjust, he has only one way of overcoming it, which is to be just himself.

– Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death

Those familiar with the story of Noah’s Ark will know the ancient patriarch, as described in the Bible’s Book of Genesis, built a ship to ensure his family’s lineage through a great global flood. The mass population of Noah’s day would not survive the coming carnage and the people lived without any knowledge of what was about to happen. Perhaps they even ridiculed Noah and his family for building the ark. Regardless, the Walking Dead lived the dream until their world ended, abruptly, in a deluge that swept them to their respective deaths.

Our Tsar Nicky, by Eric Peters

Is Biden America’s Tsar Nicholas? From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

If you watched the man who occupies the office of the presidency wandering around the White House being ignored during a recent party for another president you will have seen history repeating itself.

Russian history, interestingly enough.

Pre-Soviet history, that is.

The last Tsar of all the Russias – as he was styled – was a weak reed named Nicholas Romanov. He became Tsar in 1894 after the unexpected death of his father, Tsar Alexander III and was utterly unprepared as well as unsuited, by nature, for the office which he never wanted to hold. He held it until the 15th of March, 1917 – when he was forced to abdicate the office after plunging Russia into a disastrous and needless war and the Russian people into unprecedented, entirely unnecessary misery.
