When That Ol’ Mojo Stops Workin’, by James Howard Kunstler

People are seeing through the lies. From James Howard Kunstler at kunstler.com:

What you’re actually seeing in the rhetorical hoo-ha over the January Sixth capitol riot is the main cattle-prod driving mob madness — fear of Covid-19 — losing its power to terrorize the public. The Party-of-Chaos put on a grand opera of lamentation Thursday to celebrate its unity in victim-hood — we wuz so traumatized by the riot! — but in the background, they can see their dearer dream of total vaccination — and total control of the population — fade in the winter mists.

This is the crisis of a managerial class that has lost its ability to manage anything, including all of us. Thus, the hysteria in the blue precincts of America, where they are concentrated. And, as I’ve averred before, the madness probably has its roots in the slow-motion train wreck of our techno-industrial economy. The managerial class can surely sense it and see it coming, but they don’t have a clue what to do about it. So, in desperate need of some signifying ritual, they’re left performing a grand-scale Chinese fire drill like drunken sophomores of yore — a flurry of pointless, attention-seeking activity.

You see, this total vaccination fantasy is meant to compensate for that inability to govern in a time of epic turbulence. It provides an illusion of control. But the obvious insanity of it stands out in the demonstrable facts that the vaccinations don’t work, and that they are racking up an impressive record of harming people. These two facts must be ignored by the vax-happy Blue Team, even as the immunizing and pretty harmless Omicron variant spreads speedily across the land conferring superior natural immunity on those who survive it — which is, functionally, everyone.

21/22, by Raúl Ilargi Meijer

The year just passed saw unprecedented propaganda and lies in service of power and mass death. Will 2022 bring justice or more of the same? From Raúl Ilargi Meijer at theautomaticearth.com:

In my first article of the year, I must thank everyone who has followed us, and read us, and commented, especially those of you who have made donations both to the Automatic Earth, and to the Monastiraki kitchen for the homeless in Athens, Greece. Both don’t reach millions of people, but the thousands we do connect with, we reach them well. Every reader who learns something is a win, and every homeless person who gets a good meal, well, that’s obvious.

Thank you so much. You are the ones who make this happen.

If I say that 2020 was the year of the virus, and 2021 the year of the vaccine, most people would probably agree. But 2021 was so much more than that; it was also the year of propaganda, media capture and narrative control at levels beyond anything we’ve ever seen. Even if many -most- people haven’t experienced it that way.

And that has likely had more negative impact on us than the vaccine itself. A close call perhaps, I know. The good thing that has come out of this is that so much of it has been exposed. Much of the underlying tendencies towards authoritarianism, and disregard for truth, and blind desire for profit, for a Great Reset, population control, abandonment of freedoms and human rights, it’s all there now for us to see.

We need to act upon that exposure. Get rid of Fauci, Walensky, Pfizer, CDC, and their peers across the planet, of the WHO, of all health “experts” that receive income from/via Pfizer et al (which is the vast majority), put a halt to the influence of money (Bill Gates) on health policy. A society, a country, need to be their own boss over their own fundamental policies. And that means paying for it ourselves.

It’s 2022 and the Pandemic is Over. By Mark E. Jeftovic

The Covid and variants outbreak may be drawing to a close, but Covid totalitarianism has yet to be eradicated. From Mark E. Jeftovic at bombthrower.com:

A Procession of Flagellants – Francisco De Goya 1819

Only the most brainwashed True Believers will cling to the failed narrative.

For a few months now I’ve been writing that my thinking around Covid tyranny and these elite aspirations toward a Great Reset under their purview had shifted. For nearly two years I had feared that we were headed into a new dark age of totalitarianism and repression, that Western leaders would aspire to implement China-style social credit systems and completely takeover the economy and day to day lives of its subjects.

Make no mistake, many establishment elites do want that. It’s just for awhile there it looked to me like they would succeed. But then my thinking started to shift around that. I realized that the entire transformational shift in the very nature of communications (Internet), power (networks) and then money (Bitcoin) meant the very architecture of society had changed so profoundly that this type of top-down, centralized authoritarianism I had feared so much was now untenable.

It was trying to retrofit digital versions of industrial era authority onto a new terrain of decentralized networks and individual sovereignty (at least for those individuals who successfully position themselves for it. Everybody else will be neo-Feudal serfs, and many of them will actually prefer that).

I began to suspect that rather than entering this new Dark Age of Davos inspired technocracy, we were instead experiencing a crescendo, a culmination of over a century of creeping Marxism.

Covid, rather than bringing about a monoculture of globalism, which those who respected human rights feared, it forced the hand of these impulses. It became a matter of Too Much, Too Soon.

Further, my readings of history made me expect that when the entire false Zeitgeist around COVID, collectivism (including climate) came unglued, it would happen very rapidly. A la the fall of the 800-year old Czarist line in under 72 hours, or the collapse of the Soviet Empire within 18 to 24 months.

How to Break Free of Fear Addiction, by Joseph Mercola

Just as with alcohol addiction, the addict must admit the addiction and want to do something about before he or she can be cured. From Joseph Mercola at lewrockwell.com:

<span

overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;”
class=”mce_SELRES_start”></span>

Dr. Mark McDonald is a psychiatrist in the Los Angeles, California, area. He’s written a book called “United States of Fear: How America Fell Victim to Mass Delusional Psychosis,” which is the topic of today’s discussion. Around April 2020, McDonald actually made the brave decision to “fire” patients who refused to accept his stand on certain realities and truths.

“LA is a very politically-charged climate,” he says. “A lot of my patients, particularly those who would not identify as either conservative or even sincerely independent, tend to react in a very emotionally-charged way when they work with somebody who does not share their value system, and then it becomes difficult to work with them. I can’t help them …

I noticed that there was something bigger than just politics at play with the whole rise of the pandemic. About 10 to 20% of my patients, they either left abruptly without saying anything … or they argued with me. Some of them actually attacked me personally and condemned me.

A few threatened to report me to the medical board for saying such ‘horrible’ things as children should be able to breathe without a mask on their face. What I concluded after seeing the fallout from this is that those who left, those who attacked me, they really are no longer people that I can help, because really good therapeutic work, at least the work that I do, starts from a position of truth and reality.

Now, I’m not claiming to have the monopoly on truth or reality, but I certainly value it so highly that I’m not willing to sacrifice it for someone else’s emotional comfort or well-being in the moment …

The ones that stayed and those who’ve taken their places have all been far, far more committed to the work and to getting better, to healing themselves emotionally and psychologically, than any of the people that left.

So, I am in no way regretful of that decision. I think it’s made me a better clinician, a better practitioner. And most importantly, it’s enabled me to continue to speak clearly, publicly and honestly about what I think is a much more important problem than just shots and masks, which is the state of our country and how we are being controlled and manipulated by corrupt individuals and corporations.”

Reflections on Another Year of Covidian Lies and How the Truth Will Ultimately Prevail, by Rob Slane

The truth and reality always ultimately win. From Rob Slane at theblogmire.com:

As we come to the end of the second year in Covidia, I reflect on just how much the instigators of the entire scam have managed to reshape reality in an amazingly short timeframe, such that what was considered normal 12 months ago is now considered abnormal, and what was considered abnormal 12 months ago is now seen as normal.

For instance, had one predicted 12 months ago that after “vaccinating” the elderly and those considered vulnerable, which was the “route back to freedom”, the Johnson Regime and countless others around the world would:

  1. Proceed to push the injection onto all adults
  2. Move on to getting it into children
  3. Make thousands jobless who do not wish to partake in the experiment
  4. Begin the introduction of Vaccine Passports
  5. Announce that the allegedly 95% effective products wane so quickly they’ll need to be taken every few months
  6. Start talking about the possibility of mandatory jabs
  7. Reintroduce the restrictions that these injections were supposed to do away with

…why such a person would have been called a Conspiracy Nut. Yet a year later the same person is called a Conspiracy Nut for opposing these very things they got called a Conspiracy Nut for predicting, but which are now reality.

There is something horribly ironic, and also deeply chilling about this. For it shows not only how easily manipulated so many people are, but also just how easy it has been for the Covidian Regimes to reshape reality such that millions have come to accept as normal the very things they would have dismissed just months earlier as the product of deranged minds.

COVID-19 in 10 sentences, by C.J. Baker

They’re long sentences, but C.J. Baker’s 10 sentence do a pretty good job of explaining Covid-19. From Baker at americanthinker.com:

As we approach the end of annus horribilis 2 (also known as 2021 A.D.), it seems worthwhile to to look back and summarize the events that have brought us where we are in the COVID-19 saga.

Here, in ten sentences, is how we got here.

  1. Since at least 2014, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), through Anthony Fauci’s NIAID division, have sent millions of U.S. tax dollars to communist China to fund research involving the genetic alteration of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
  2. Around October 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic began when a new coronavirus leaked out of the same Wuhan Institute of Virology and into the human population.
  3. The Communist Chinese Party imposed a tight lockdown of its own population, while simultaneously allowing international travel to and from China, facilitating the virus’s worldwide spread.
  4. As the pandemic unfolded, public health officials and the media used grossly overestimated death rates and false promises of self-limited measures (“two weeks to flatten the curve”) to promote unprecedented policies of prolonged, widespread quarantine of heathy populations, which continue to this day — two years later.

Definitions – Redefined, by Eric Peters

Can you define away the moronic? They’re trying. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

Things don’t mean what they used to. The idea being to make you forget what they used to mean. In order to get you thinking of other things, in the meanwhile.

Vaccination –

This used to mean (or be synonymous with) immunization. You received a vaccination so as to be immune to a sickness, as for example a polio or tetanus vaccine. If you got the shot, you could not get the sickness.

This also meant you could not give it.

You were immune – and others were de facto immunized as well, by dint of your immunity, since you couldn’t spread what you couldn’t get.

A “vaccine” now means something that reduces the severity of sickness you can still get.

And so, spread.

It works in the same way that drugs for herpes reduce the symptoms associated with that sickness. But you still have – or can get (and give) the Herp. And other people are more likely to get it, too – because they are more likely to be exposed to sick people who don’t seem sick and sick people are more likely to expose others to their sickness, because they don’t feel sick.

Which leads us to . . .

Asymptomatic Spread –

This used to mean a person who was not feeling sick and so probably was not sick who was nonetheless presumed to be sick and thus expected to wear a “mask” – an item that once meant a surgical suite device that met very specific standards – as an essential barrier to the spreading and getting of sickness.

It now has no meaning at all – because the meaning above conflicts with the newly revised definition of “vaccines,” which only suppress symptoms of sickness and so encourage the actual spreading and getting of sickness, asymptomatically.

Cases –

It was once the . . . case that doctors only spoke of or rather, counted, people sick enough to need the assistance of doctors in order to recover from a sickness as a “case.”

Misinformation, by Eric Peters

Misinformation is often a pejorative tossed at factual information that runs counter to mainstream narratives like Covid-19 and global warming. From Eric Peters at ericpetersautos.com:

We hear a lot about what is styled “misinformation.”

It is one of those words meant to slam shut the door on information. The talking about stuff, so as to know – to find out – exactly what we are talking about. To establish whether it is true as opposed to us being told it is true – and we’d better just stop talking about it.

Other such words are “racist,” “transphobic” and “homophobic.” These words all mean the same thing, to the extent they have any meaning.

Shut up. I don’t want to hear it.

And – worse – you are badly motivated for saying whatever you just said.

Not just shut up. Be ashamed.

For even thinking it.

And for that reason, precisely, we ought to be thinking – and saying – it.

Who gets to decide what “misinformation” is? Why not let information decide?

If – for instance – these “vaccines” are safe as advertised, then why not let the information make the case? Or rather: Why would it not make the case – assuming they are, indeed, safe?

How is it “misinformation” to reference the information collected by the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)? It was never considered “misinformation” before all of a sudden.

VAERS has been around a lot longer than the “pandemic.” Prior to the “pandemic,” it was considered a reliable means of discovering crucially important information – the canary in the coal mine – about possible problems with vaccines.

What would you think about the safety record of a new car you were thinking of buying if you were told (all of a sudden) to ignore information suggestive of problems with that car? If that particular car were being pushed really hard on you by a salesman? Just ignore the record of safety problems filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s system for public reporting of problems with cars.

What Are the Truly Verifiable Facts Surrounding COVID-19? By David Skripac

Conclusive statements backed up with impressive information and analysis. If you ever run into a Covidiot who will argue with you (good luck with that), keep this article bookmarked, t will help you win the argument. From David Skripac at lewrockwell.com:

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”

Those words, uttered by two-time Nobel Prize-winning chemist and physicist Marie Curie, are as relevant today as they were in her era (1867–1934). With most of the planet under some form of medical martial law, we would do well to follow her advice: understand more and fear less about the pandemic. The way to do that is to establish the verifiable, scientific facts about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and separate those facts from the fiction being touted by a fear-mongering news media. Only then will we stop surrendering our inherent freedoms to COVID-19 propaganda.

Fiction #1: Wearing a face mask will protect you and others from the coronavirus.

Fact #1: Contrary to what many medical and government officials tell us, there is no evidence to support the claim that face masks—whether N95, surgical, or cloth—protect the wearer from any virus. These so-called “medical experts” usually reference a purportedly scientific publication to support their claim. However, when the studies they point to—namely, in The Lancet and from the Mayo Clinic—are put under closer scrutiny, they fail to pass one crucial test: they never used a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). Reputable scientists consider the RCT the Holy Grail when it comes to conducting a study on a large group of people, because it eliminates the possibility of any population bias in the testing.

When we look at trials that have used the RCT method to analyze the efficacy of face masks, we find starkly different results from those that have not.

For instance, an exhaustive dental study conducted in 2016 revealed that disposable surgical face masks are incapable of providing protection from respiratory pathogens.

Then there was the study conducted this past February by Long Y, Hu T, Liu, et al., titled “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks against influenza.” It involved a total of six RCTs and 9,171 participants. The study concluded that “the current meta-analysis shows the use of N95 compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza. It suggests that N95 respirators should not be recommended for general public and nonhigh-risk medical staffs those are not in close contact with influenza patients or suspected patients.”

The light at the end of the Covid, by Alex Berenson

Let’s hope the light Alex Berenson sees is not an oncoming train. From Berenson at alexberenson.substack.com:

One way or another, the Pandemia is ending in the United States. Europe may have a longer road…

Big stories coming later today.

But first this hopeful analysis: don’t let the rise in case numbers fool you. Culturally and politically, the United States appears to be putting Covid in the rear-view mirror.

And since Covid was always much more a cultural and political problem than a existential threat – or even a medical threat to almost anyone in halfway decent health – spring is coming. Omicron will likely accelerate this trend, unless the South African data are completely wrong.

It is easy to miss what’s happening, given the endless screeching from the elite media and outliers like Bill de Blasio’s idiotic effort to force vaccinations on kids in New York City.

But ask yourself these seven questions:

1: Do you have any idea how many Americans are now dying with/from/near Covid each day? The answer is still over 1,000 on average, but the daily death count – which was a national media-fueled obsession for a year – has been entirely forgotten.

2: What percentage of 5-11 year-olds have been Covid vaccinated? More than a month after jabs for kids were approved, the answer is barely 15 percent – not even one child out of six – despite a massive advertising and media campaign. And I can promise you that number is not going to budge much going forward. The parents who were dumb enough to give their kids a quasi-experimental and short-lasting “vaccine” for an illness that even before Omicron was a cold for most have already done so.
